Day 2, but 10th year of us being a couple.

"What is it like outside, Lerey?" She asked, curious about what's beyond the trees surrounding us. She have finally became comfortable of me.

"It's dangerous. You probably shouldn't bother." I replied. Even though I know it'll be useless to say this, I still wanna act.

"Is that so..." She looks a bit afraid yet curious at the same time.

"Do you want to take a look? You might regret it though."

"I want!"

"Well, if that's what my Ria wants, then fine."

I took her with me in a stroll as if we were in a park. We're heading near the edge of this world I made. Minutes later, we arrived in an arch that's like those shrine Japanese style. I made it as a border, where pass through it is surrounded by monsters. A perfect reason to be stuck in here for eternity. Well, I just couldn't bother thinking of making a design for the arch.

"Wh-what's that?" She's terrified. Beyond the arch is a black monster with long hands, staring at us quietly like a mannequin.

"They're what this world has called, Nightmares. The world is destroyed because of them. They just appeared all of a sudden and ate everything, starting from the heads as they seem to hate everything that can dream. No one is left, only the two of us. This is the only safe place in the world."

"... Really?"

"Yep, wanna go near it? We'll die the moment we step out for sure though."

"N-no..." She got scared. Meaning, it worked just fine.

We headed back to our little home. Nothing happened after that.

Day 3, all I can tell about is that we watched shooting stars together while having a picnic. We're both laying down on a blanket. The shooting stars are going to last for the whole day.

"Aren't they beautiful?" I asked.

"Very."

"Well, you're more beautiful."

"I know."

"Hmm, I guess my strategy is not working on Ria anymore."

"I still love it though. Your simple words make me blush."

"That's good to hear. But you're starting to sound like me."

"Well, you're the only one I can interact after all. And I like you. It reminds me of how you said I fell in love in you."

"Hmm, really? Are you remembering something?"

"Nope, but I know my feelings."

"I see."

Day 4, 5, and 6. Nothing noteworthy happened. They have all been the same. They were the days where I just wanted to skip everything and move on. I wanna go out already. Still, I keep my promises. I made sure to still put effort in making her happy. It'll just be a week for me after all.

Then, the last day came.

She's laying down on the same bed where she first woke up, bedridden. Her hair is now white. Despite being old, she's still beautiful in her own for some reason. I guess it's a perk for being a princess. With a little make up, she can probably look young again.

"Lerey... Is that you?"

"Yeah, I'm right here beside you."

"Haha... How come you still look the same as ever?"

"You're probably imagining things."

"Really?"

"Yep."

"Well... Thank you..."

"For what?"

"For everything."

"I see. You're absolutely welcome. And I thank you as well for loving me."

Ria becomes silent for a moment, staring at the ceiling with a bright smile for reasons I don't know. While here I am, sitting on a chair beside her.

"Why does it feels like... the time we're together is so short?" She asked.

"Hmmm, I guess that's just how things are." I replied.

I waited for a reply. However, I then noticed that her eyes are not moving anymore. I smiled, a normal one. I sighed. I closed her eyes. What a sweet dream.
