POV - Jay

A wheel? Looking into it, it's full of names, some of which I recognize. Characters from anime, games, and movies: I was about to ask why Niku sent this, but the message with this roulette wasn't from him... In fact, there isn't a name attached to it.

 'Wheel to know which character you are.' So it's one of these? Who put this on the server? As I think about it, a message saying 'Niku Spun the Wheel' appears.

'It's pretty much gacha. I couldn't help it.' He says... Fair, gacha is life.

After another moment, another message announces his result.

'Niku got [Mysterious Heroine X - (Fate Grand Order)]'

With the result announced, I try to remember who this is... Mysterious Heroine X, or MHX for short. Isn't this an 'Artoria face' from the 'Fate' franchise? If it were a normal gacha, they might be happy right now, but this is a wheel that decides 'which character you are'... This can only mean one thing.

I try to get his attention, but he is already offline. Dammit! I'm so mad; I feel like my head is a little fuzzy...

I look down and check my body, and I notice everything is wrong. My clothes, my arms, my hands, my legs, my height... and even though I didn't check, I know there is something missing... So even MY GENDER!!!

Before I can even have a bigger breakdown over it, my head quickly looks over at the flying girls that shot at me. It wasn't something I tried to do, but I understood why. This body reacted to them attacking me again.

Another barrage comes my way, and I try to get cover... However, my body does not listen!.. But not out of fear; my eyes keep looking at those missiles. I somehow understand that instead of running, I can stop them in their tracks.

BOOOOOM!!!

The impact was even stronger, but even though it was coming right my way, it exploded in the air. With a closer look, I can see something invisible in the dust from the explosion. An invisible robot... Bronya's weapon. I guess even those explosives have nothing on this.

... Wait, why are we fighting?

They are an Anti-Spirit Team... Why fight me? Oh no.

Am I a spirit? In the world of Date-a-Live? Where the MC... Dates... Spirits? That male MC..?

Maybe it's a misunderstanding, but if I really am one, then... I shudder at the thought.

I see those girls preparing to engage in close combat. Probably because it didn't work from far away, but I don't care about that. The only thing I can think of right now is...
