Melinda could feel pains stabbing all over her body. Ciel was currently taking her somewhere while putting her body on his right shoulder.
Melinda was angry at the moment, not at Ciel but at a certain someone.
'Ares.'
Melinda muttered his name in her heart. She felt like she was being betrayed. Why did Ares say that but explain nothing to her? Why must it be her?
There's a lot of questions Melinda wanted to know but currently she knew she had to somehow alert someone about her predicament before something even worse happened.
Manic is a selfish clan where they only care about the talented. This was because, compared to the other five prominent families, they were the weakest physically in martial arts and technique.
If anything happened to her, her family wouldn't immediately come to save her ass. They would survey and collect any useful information first before planning to save her.
Her mother is the current Manic matriarch but that didn't make her life any easier especially when her father left for another woman and her mother just let him be. Melinda didn't know who the pathetic one in that situation was.
Thus she decided to send a message to one person that she knew might at least do something.
Sensing that Ciel couldn't see what she was doing, she quickly typed a message to the first contact on her chat list using her smartwatch. The watch looked like normal bracelet thus maybe that was why Ciel didn't throw it away.
"Hey what are you doing Melinda?"
Melinda was startled hearing the sudden question before Ciel threw her hard towards a wall.
"Hmm, is this a smartwatch? I should have thrown away everything including your clothes. Maybe it's better if you're naked right? But what kind of message is this? Will your friend even understand?"
For every question he asked, Melinda's head would be smashed onto the hard wall. She almost lost consciousness once again.
"Of course, even if he understood, he wouldn't be able to find where you're right now. I also put a barrier around this building."
Ciel continued dragging the half conscious Melinda through the stairs towards the rooftop.
Melinda glared fiercely at Ciel while clenching her teeth. Seeing Melinda's glare, Ciel trembled in ecstacy.
"Those eyes are amazing. Later I will make it more beautiful and alluring."
Melinda was then tied tightly on a chair at the center of a weird circle drawn on the floor.
Ciel slowly approached Melinda who was tied to the chair after he finished lighting up all the candles surrounding the circle. Melinda struggled fiercely but a restraint spell was put on her preventing her from doing anything. Even her mana couldn't be used.
"You have beautiful skin"
Ciel put his hand on Melinda's thigh. A faint handprint was left behind on her white skin. At the disgusting sensation akin to a snake slithering over her skin, Melinda started to tear up.
"Once is enough. I will make sure you won't escape so I can present you to Matriarch Hera. We will be together serving Matriarch Hera forever."
Ciel was a Djinn contracted by a high ranking demon from the Wrath Clan thus all of them served Demoness Hera, the matriarch of the Demon Wrath clan, one of the so-called the original seven sins.
His smell and voice contained the power of bewitchment thus that was what made Melinda fell into this kind of situation.
"Melinda, weren't you lonely? I know that feeling too. We can complete one another."
Speaking persuasively, Ciel put his hand on Melinda's neck. A mind-muddling magic was imbued in his breath. Melinda trembled.
No matter how strong her mental power was, ecstasy forced by magic power was not something she could resist. If she could, she wouldn't hesitate to bite her own tongue rather than losing herself; however her mouth was tightly tied with a cloth preventing her from doing so.
"Hmm today seems to be my lucky day. With fog this thick, no one will see us here, Lady Melinda."
Melinda fiercely glared at him while gritting her teeth. Seeing Melinda's glare, Ciel became more excited.
"Keep on glaring Melinda, soon you will become like me but since you will become a mindless puppet, your level is lower than me and both of us will serve Matriarch Hera together."
Ciel caressed Melinda's face and said softly. A magic power of passion and lust flowed into Melinda from his hand. Since Ciel is contracted with a high ranking demon, he got this power to enchant people. His initially ordinary face also became more attractive.
"It's easier if you just give in."
Her mind became more cloudy.
The magic power stimulated her body and tried to make her submit. An intense pleasure akin to euphoria overwhelmed her. She couldn't even bite her tongue due to the cloth being shoved in her mouth and tied up to her head.
While Ciel was talking to Melinda, a few other people in black robes were standing in a circle while chanting weird sounds and words. Mana started to swirl around the area and a circle shape drawing on the floor started to glow red.
The men started to slash their hands and blood started dripping down from each of them making the mana around them intensify.
Melinda was bewildered and her mind couldn't think properly due to the bewitchment technique Ciel casted on her and the absurd situation in front of her also made her more confused.
Around the same time, Ken arrived at where Ares was currently at, it was a room, a study room inside the library.
Ares was currently facing Selena which was weird given the current chaotic situation that the academy was currently in.
"Ares! Melinda is in trouble! One of the Djinn seemed to have captured her," Ken immediately informed him.
"I know."
"Then what are you doing?!"
Ares glanced towards Selena who was currently pointing her sword at him, "You need to ask her that. What is she doing with that mana restrictor modem? Turn it off Selena."
"If you want me to turn this off, you need to fight me."
"Selena! Right now is not the time. I need Ares to go with me and save Melinda," Ken felt frustrated.
"It's only for a moment since both of us can't use mana," Selena was adamant.
She didn't care if the students were dying. She found the modem first and she has the right to do whatever she wants with it. She didn't want to turn it off unless Ares agreed to fight with her.
"You're picking a fight with the wrong person. I don't care if those people die but you're just adding to my workload."
Reddish flames coated the two swords in Ares's hands, "Who told you I can't use mana even in this situation. If you can't use mana then that's your own fault for being weak. So let's finish this quickly since my time is a bit constrained."
Ares immediately rushed towards Selena who was caught off guard but still managed to parry his swords attack thus Ares kept on going with barrages of attack where the flames started to burn Selena's fair skin.
Seeing that Selena was in pain, he kept on pushing and immediately pierced through her arm.
Although she was in pain, she couldn't help but smile and this irritated Ares who went on to punch her in the face.
He himself was selfish but he would never obstruct other people like Selena. If she didn't want to help, the best she could do is sit silently.
Ares kept on punching her and her pretty face started to be pummeled and bloodied. He only stopped when Selena didn't seem to move anymore.
"I've wasted my time," Ares immediately turned off the modem and put it inside his spatial earrings since it was a good artifact to be inspected.
"Let's go."
Ken, who was still stunned, immediately went to follow Ares.

On the rooftop
Robin and Laura just finished setting up the weapons and were currently waiting for command to shoot the arrows that have been coated with holy water.
"Robin, I think we need to thicken the fog because Ferguson must have already been on the move," Laura said when she noticed fog started to appear from the opposite rooftop which was a bit unnatural considering the temperature and time.
It was currently peak mid day time during late winter where you could clearly see the sun shining on the sky. So where the hell did those fog come from if it wasn't from Ferguson who used the dry ice that Robin gave him.
"Ok roger," Robin said before controlling a small drone that started to sprinkle small dust all around the area.
Around the same time, on the opposite rooftop. A man wearing a black cloak suddenly appeared behind Sierra and Evangeline.
"!!!!!" Who the hell is this?!
Sierra almost shouted but fortunately Evangeline managed to shove a handkerchief into her mouth.
"I'm Ferguson. Hold my hands and we will go down through the rope."
"......" Both Sierra and Evangeline nodded their heads and cooperated obediently.
<Ares: Ferguson is half-way done with the girls. Laura, Robin prepare to attack. Laura you're in command.>
Seeing the message, Laura immediately said, "In count of three, two, one, shoot!"
All the arrows have been imbued with holy water based on Ares's suggestion. The hailstorm of shining arrows soon pierced onto the men on the opposite rooftop.
Those men who were focused on maintaining the array didn't manage to evade the rain of arrows. Some of them who didn't die were quickly restrained when the arrows that pierced them suddenly formed a golden chain and tied them up.
Melinda, who was in a delirious state, could see that one by one of the men around her fell after being struck by the non-stop arrows shooting down from the sky. The arrows seemed to be coated with glittering gold.
The fog that had become unnaturally thicker out of a sudden in the area was disrupting Ciel's view of his surroundings.
-CLANG
Suddenly, a flash of light came from out of nowhere and pierced Ciel's shoulder and grazed it.
"I thought there won't be any disturbance when I don't felt any presence around here but this fog might be the culprit hindering my senses."
Ciel was dazed for a moment after the attack and fell on his knee before he could comprehend what had happened.
"Where are you huh? Show yourself!"
Ciel yelled in a random direction since he couldn't pinpoint where the attack came from amidst the thick fog covering the area. Red magic power erupted from his body and he glanced around with his bloodshot eyes.
He swung his magic power around desperately. The storm of mana came out from his hands and swept through his surroundings. He tried to make the fog dissipate but no matter what he did, nothing changed.
"You bastard!"
As if to reply to Ciel's cursing word, another arrow was shot but this time the flash was brighter than the previous one. It went through the center of his chest.
-CHING
Suddenly a faint golden metal chain started to envelope his body and restricted his hands from moving. Since he couldn't use his hands, he wouldn't be able to use most of his magic spells.
"Show yourself you son of a bitch! I'll kill you after I find you. No I will torture you first until you died!"
His frenzied cry muddled his speech and it became harder and harder to tell whether it was human or monster was talking since his voice became more like a monster cry rather than human.
Later more and more arrows came and pierced him, making the golden chains become clearer and not as faint as before.
The attack ended when Ciel was already tied up to the ground. There were four metal arrows stabbed on the ground and the golden metal chains were all connected to them. This made Ciel unable to move even a single step.
"Arghhhh! You bastard!"
Ciel was nailed on the ground but he still yelled loudly out of his lungs. The perpetrator still didn't show up.
"Yeahh Ares arrived!" Robin couldn't help but cheer excitedly while Ares was trying to catch a break.
He thought he was already fast but the moment Ken turned into half wolf and went faster than him, he couldn't help but try to keep up.
Fortunately he came on time and managed to seal the Djinn.
"Is it ok to go there?" Ken asked since he knew Melinda was inside the fog and might accidentally get injured.
"Don't worry, Melinda is fine. Laura and Robin have the best eyesight so they won't ever misshoot someone. You can go there with the others if you want to," Ares reassuring Ken.
"What about you?"
"I can't move for a while and don't worry about that guy. If I don't move, he can't move either."
