Allan replied with an embarrassed chuckle.

Koby and Carina saw the scene from afar but couldn’t make out anything where they were, but Usopp atop the tree they were playing in saw it very clearly.

Even though he didn’t know what it was, he still felt the pressure from afar, this gave Usopp a very special first impression of Allan, a gentle but scary big brother.

Allan said with a huge grin while he beckoned for the three kids to come back.

Koby suddenly asked.

“It depends, do you like Usopp?”

Allan asked back.

Koby answered with a nod while Carina followed.

“Well, we can’t force him, but even if he doesn’t join now, there should be a chance in the future.”

Allan said with a smile.

Since he didn’t plan to keep Banchina and Usopp for too long in Chen Town, giving them two more years was a sort of closure, only after accepting the fact that Yasopp would not return to them would Banchina let go and focus on taking care of Usopp, of course, that was not Banchina letting go of Yasopp.

Although Allan also wanted to see Kaya.

But after thinking about it, it seemed a bit difficult.

If Allan was also able to invite Kaya into the family, her talent in medicine should make her qualified enough, otherwise, the anime wouldn’t emphasize her study of medicine.

Of course, he needed to show her parents that the Jaeger Family was a trustworthy family and was worthy of their daughter’s entrustment.

If Usopp and Kaya still become childhood sweethearts, then it should make for a good story in the future.

Kaku said as a matter of fact, this was just a reminder, nothing too serious, unless they were extremely unlucky, then they should meet pirates on the way to Chen Town.

A huge boat suddenly appeared on the horizon, the closer it was, the more obvious it looked.

And as the number of merchants increased, it became a famous spot for pirates.

The pirates didn’t do too much, at most they extorted money.

Being a merchant meant that they could hire mercenaries as guards.

A real fight was not to the pirate's advantage, so pirates would often come to earn money by extorting merchants with the threat of a fight, and unlike pirates who dance on a knife’s edge to live, merchants were more timid so even if the mercenaries they hired wanted to fight, the merchants would often give in and pay instead.

This was the dynamic for most islands with decent enough powers.

In the future, Black Cat Pirates would clear out the surrounding pirates for Kuro which made Gecko Island look more peaceful with only bunch of brats led by a long nosed kid constantly shouting that pirates were coming.

Rocky thought he would be able to harvest another batch of merchant goods, and was already laughing with his crew, but he suddenly saw a ship with a bird figurehead, the flag held an unfamiliar figure of a sword with two wings.

But seeing one teenager and 11 kids and 5 adults on board, Rocky and his crew laughed out loud instead, he raised his huge rock club high.

“Look at these pipsqueaks! Rohahaha how funny!”

Rocky laughed boisterously.

His crew cooperated and some even rolled on the ship.

“You all should stay on the ship, we’ll hop on theirs, just hide, they have guns.”

Allan instructed.

The ten boys listened immediately but the five fishermen were reluctant, it’s not that they held no respect for Allan, it’s just a huge shame for them to hide while two kids were fighting.

“I’ve already told you in the past, only when a certain standard is reached will I allow any of you to be combatants, I know you have your pride, but life isn’t a game, if any of their bullets hit you, you’re dead. So if you want me to respect you, then eat your pride and train hard until you’re qualified enough! Right now I need you to listen!”

Allan’s eyes turned sharp, as he said, life was no joke.

The five fishermen were the most enthusiastic when it came to training, but they were still not up to standard so Allan dismissed them.

The five fishermen couldn’t help but swallow whatever argument they had when they saw Allan’s eyes, the cheerful and playful kid they knew suddenly turned into a beast-like man.

“Alright Kaku, let’s do this quickly.”

When the ship reached the 10-meter mark, Allan and Kaku both leaped onto the enemy ship under the surprised eyes of both sides.

In fact, Allan and Kaku could leap further, but they didn’t want to show too much.

“Get them!”

Rocky shouted in anger, his crew just stared while the two already landed and were sprinting towards him in no time.

The huge club fell on the floor while Kaku’s heel connected with Rocky’s scalp.

“AHH!”

Rocky screamed in pain but another kick hit his jaw.

Allan and Kaku both sent another axe kick.

BANG!

Rocky slumped on the ground, his head went through the floorboards, and was rendered unconscious.

Allan and Kaku both looked like spinning tops showcasing their kicking skills until all of Rocky’s crew were neutralized.

There were no marksmen in Rocky’s crew so Allan and Kaku were able to clean them up with no difficulty.

“Hahaha that was fun!”

Allan said with a smile, although he didn’t kill, many of these people would probably end up as cripples, after all, a kick from Allan even if it wasn’t full power was not a joke.

Kaku also smiled, he’d always been training lately, but fighting was far better in his opinion.

“Al, you shouldn’t hold back too much.”

Seeing the groaning people, Kaku’s victims were more silent, these people were outright pirates so Kaku didn’t feel anything wrong with killing them, but looking at Al’s victims, Kaku didn’t know whether Al pitied them or he was even more cruel than Kaku.

Being alive but crippled, their future looked even dimmer than regular prisoners.

“Just take it as their punishment.”

Yeah, even though he kept them alive, since they were heavily injured, to keep them alive meant more food.

“Uh, ahem, there should be food in their ship.”

Allan said while running towards the storage room.

“See! There’s a lot of food in this ship.”

Allan doubled down with a smile.

Most pirates had the habit of storing a lot of food for banquets, after all, life at sea meant they could die the very next day.

“What should we do with this ship?”

Kaku asked.

“Keep it.”

Allan answered with a smile.

There were three options, sink it, sell it, or keep it.

Rocky’s ship was even better than Alexandria, in Allan’s opinion, it could proabably sell up to almost 30 million berries.

Only having Alexandria didn’t suit Allan’s next step, but with Rocky’s ship, the family could at least form two separate hunting teams.

Allan, Gin, and Kaku were each qualified to lead the hunt.
