Currently, I just finished roughly fine-tuning the discord I had sitting for years, so literally no one but me and potentially a few people I know are presently in the discord.
At some point, I imagine I'll have a thriving community, but that isn't so at the moment. If one wants access to the discord, then I'll share a link via DM or something. Once more interest grows then I'll most likely make the link publicly available.
Absolutely lovely. I understand the controversy about AI art but at the same time, sometimes you need art. Commissions are expensive, the quality is entirely dependent on the skill of the artist and their interpretation and their temperament.
I have seen plenty of novel writers commission art using patreon donations and that art never arrives. And if it does, it looks like just the worst Microsoft paint you could imagine.
Thank you for taking the time to refine an AI list of character art, it looks great.
Honesty is the best policy. I don't worry about it too much because all my work is freely available (even tho I do have a donations option; there is no pay wall). I'm also completely fine with people using my world building concepts. If someone likes how I implemented alchemy, then they can replicate it in their own story.
At the end of the day, it is about creating a story, and artwork enhances the ability to convey said story. Of course, artwork = more views = more potential for donations.
All that said, Ai art is actually a lot of fun. It is alike a gacha game with a bit of deductive work. For instance, I tried 'Anime, Smug' and a chibi-like woman with boba tea appeared. I typed tsundere and one time the character was holding up a sign that had the infamous quote: "Baka, it isn't like I like you or anything...."
The biggest thing is avoiding the accursed prompt cancelation because of NSFW content. Lumi could only work if I made her "sit at a desk doing paperwork." The Ai is a degenerate because of society. Wave was the hardest... knight = naughty. Mage = fine. I had to change the prompt a few times and when I saw a knight with a garter belt I began to realize why it kept failing. Mind you I had stuff like "full plate armor." Had to make her "lean against wall" or "look into mirror." Lol.
In my experience, redheads get away with a lot more. Do the same prompt and change redhead to blond and your done.
Maybe it's just me, but none the art uploaded.
Are you on mobile? I'm on desktop and it works. Just had a friend check (also on desktop). It uses hotlinks from post images, the place I hosted the images. I can dm you the gallery link (postimages) or discord link if you want.
Edit: Most of them should also showup on google images (at least they do for me).
