All three mobile suits are now idly waiting outside for Adric to give the okay to start the training exercises. A voice comes over the audio communicator in Tarvos Gundam's cockpit.

"Yo your name is Ido right? we didn't get properly acquainted; my names Dutch and I'm sure its obvious but I pilot this Dandelion"

Dutch's voice has an accent to it but Ido cant tell what type it is; Ido has a hunch that this man is almost around the same age as him

"Hey nice to meet you Dutch, I was actually inspecting the Dandelion a day ago and it peaked my interest" Ido says

The Dandelion units head visibly turns to the right, it is looking at the Barzam standing next to it

"Oh sorry to leave you out man, why don't you introduce yourself to Ido" Dutch says

"It's Mack, I've been friends with Dutch here since college and well here we are"

The group wanted to conversate some more however they are interrupted by Adric on their audio communicators.

"Alright for the first part of the exercises it will be something simple and that is basic movement; Dutch & Mack I want you to help guide Ido if he has trouble however I'm confident the Bunnys system will be helpful"

Dutch & Mack give Ido some breathing space

"Have you ever piloted a mobile suit before?" Dutch asks Ido

"Never, I've only fixed them" Ido responds

"Dont worry the Bunnys system will take care of things, what you want to do right now is press a teal colored button that has a rabbit logo on it; that button activates the Bunnys system, its going to use artificial intelligence to help you so think of it as limited autopilot" Adric says

Ido looks around the cockpit but doesn't see the button until he looks upwards and to his right. Ido presses the button and immediately a sound can be heard similar to a computer bootup sound, a robotic voice can then be heard inside the cockpit.

"Bunny's system initializing... activating main system and backup sub system"

Ido has never seen an advanced system like this before

"I can hear the system through my com, alright what you want to do next is tell it to scan using the main head cameras, the system has voice activation" Adric says

Ido gives a verbal command to the system, it starts scanning both mobile suits in front of him and the voice can be heard again

"Friendly mobile suits identified, activating spatial awareness mode"

A visual heads up display appears on the monitor space in front of Ido. The heads up display lists basic information on both mobile suits as well as the time, temperature, and battery life on the Tarvos Gundam itself. There are many switches, levers, and buttons inside of the mobile suit. Despite how overwhelming the layout seems the control sticks & foot pedals seem self explanatory in his view. Ido looks below at keyboard level and sees a smaller monitor, he begins to read it to himself and then attempts to start moving the Gundam.

"I learn faster through physically doing something" Ido says outloud

Ido begins testing every joint of the Gundam. Dutch and Mack watch on as Ido continues to experiment with the suit.

"I may need to adjust some settings but the functionality is working good" Ido says

Ido drifts slowly along by testing the Vernier thrusters. He makes multiple ascending and descending maneuvers as well as multidirectional strafing. The final set of movement involves increasing speed output and braking with some evasive maneuver movement involved.

"Okay I think I'm getting the hang of this, are we continuing the testing or is that it for today?" Ido asks as he sends a direct link message to Adric

"That will be all for now, we may continue the testing at a later date depending on conditions, remember you're not a Soldier Ido, I would personally like to hand pick a pilot with a military background but I would also like your support for Tarvos Gundam's maintenance" Adric exclaims

As the three head back to the hangar bay door their mobile suits activate a warning signal with a low tone siren sound

"Oh god here it comes" Dutch says

An overwhelming heat presence can be both felt and seen by everyone; blue and orange aurora like flames appear; passing around the base as if were a rock in the middle of a stream.

"Solar storms... this is why I don't wanna be out here for too long" Mack says

"Don't worry we're heading back in now" says Dutch

Ido is left very confused, he has known about solar storms but has never been caught in the middle of one before

"These storms come and go at random pretty much" Dutch explains

"I'm assuming you guys built and installed some sort of module in the mobile suits, otherwise these electronics would be fried right now" Ido says

"If any outsiders try to mess with us they'd meet the storms first" Mack says

The three of them enter the the hangar bay and lock their mobile suits into the docking stations. Meanwhile we find Adric in the Overseer area, a giant server room with multiple computer workstations.

"Sir you need to see this" the worker says to Adric

Adric walks over to him with a stern voice

"What is the issue?"

The worker brings up photographs and audio files on the main monitor, he begins to explain to Adric what's going on

"The Haven colony on side nine sent us these audio transmissions and images, they asked us if any of our mobile suits were in the area but I told them we aren't allowed to send mobile suits out there unless its an emergency"

The worker blows up the size of the photographs, they look as if they were taken from inside the colony but looking at something from the outside above. Adric knows something is wrong and notices something immediately.

"Those are the same mobile suits our Hawkeye's caught, whoever took this photo got a closer shot than us"

He inspects it further and comes to a conclusion

"That's a psychoblade woundwort and two hizacks with it,  these are also in the same color scheme in the briefing I gave earlier today"

The worker looks up at Adric

"Sir your orders?"

"Keep a close eye on this situation, we don't know what's really going on and contacting the Haven colony would be a null idea; this is pure speculation for all we know ReZeon could of hijacked or destroyed that colony" Adric says

"Sir are you sure we shouldn't go into some type of alert status?" the worker asks

"That would only cause panic, I don't want that here, it's not possible for them to know where this base is"

Adric continues talking

"Even if they threaten our security on Haven they wouldn't tell them, we have defense systems in place for keeping intruders out and the solar storms will deter others who try"

Adric beings to walk to the exit door

"I'm taking my leave, everyone monitor the situation in real time with the live feed cameras; if anything comes up connect yourself to the administration office line"

We cut back to Ido, Mack, and Dutch in the hangar bay, they have just exited the cockpits of their mobile suits and are having a discussion in Idos main office.

"Thank you for helping me out today, I learned some new things" Ido says

"Your lucky we're talkative, most people on this base are reserved and don't say a word" Mack says

"Sorry if Mack's being rude but he is right about that" Dutch says

Ido looks at his PDA on his arm

"No worries, but now you guys will be under my wing in here, I'm not a commander or soldier but its Adric's orders for me to maintain this section, if you need me I'll be here in the office"

Dutch and Mack leave Idos office. Ido continues to look through his PDA for information when suddenly he gets a voice call, the name comes up as "Unknown" on his PDA. Ido answers the call.

"Hello this is section fours hangar office, Ido speaking"

"Pleasure to meet you Mr. Ido" a woman's voice on the other line can be heard

"May I ask who is speaking, your communication line came up as unknown" Ido asks

"Oh so sorry your PDA database is probably not fully linked up to the new system, my names Audrey April, I've worked for the titans for seven years now, the gryps war should of been the end of the titans but here we are again"

Ido has heard this name before from overhearing conversations from other members

"We're you a soldier during that time or?" Ido asks

"That's right, I was a lieutenant and I was apart of the original test team, I worked with Wes himself and Carl's Dandelion mobile suit is here, it was a little gift from us" Audrey exclaims

Out of nowhere Ido's PDA makes a loud beeping sound, text comes up on the screen "SOS Signal detected, mobile suit pilot requesting assistance" 

"I have to go for now Audrey, we'll talk later"

Ido hangs up the call, the SOS signal is still beeping, he abruptly gets an incoming call from Adric

"Ido are you there?"

"Yes sir, what's happening? I'm getting an SOS call here"

A sigh can be heard from Adric over the line

"Our researchers believe that is a fake SOS call, our mobile suit team is not allowed to travel far away from this base, civilian ships are not even allowed in this area so we're thinking this might be ReZeon"

"ReZeon?" Ido responds "You think they're using that SOS call to attack us? shouldn't we go into alert?" 

"We don't know that yet Ido, they wouldn't be that stupid to attack us even if they knew of this bases existence, I'm not alerting the base as to not cause a panic"

Adric continues talking

"I'm about to check in on the recon team, they'll know what's going on but stay posted and alert; I'm sure everyone else has gotten this signal on their PDA's"

"Yes sir" the call drops and Ido stands by in the office, he stays relatively calm and is thinking of things, hoping nothing comes of this

The defense system network of the base also receives the same signal, two operators are talking to each other about the current situation. While they are having this conversation they pick up visuals on the live video feed.

"The hell is going on are you seeing this?, its just like the commander described" the surveillance operator says while checking the long range security camera

"Let me see it, send the feed to my computer" the computer operator says

The feed is sent to the computer operator who views the feed and begins to describe it

"This looks like some sort of supply carrier with a mobile suit guiding it but I've never seen either designs before, zoom in closer please"

The surveillance operator zooms in closer, both of them see a white symbol on different areas of the carriers and mobile suit, both of them know immediately who they belong too.

"I knew it its ReZeon, that's the symbol" the surveillance operator says "I'm going to keep following their moves until they leave, they're traveling northeast of our position very slowly"

"Any idea how far away they are roughly?" the computer operator asks

"Three thousand meters roughly, that's unnaturally close to us, that's what concerns me"

After this piece of information was given, an abrupt muffled sound can be heard coming from the base. The sound is very loud and can be heard across the whole base, at the same time both operators notice that the mobile suit and carrier stopped moving completely, it appears to look in their direction.
