I'm barely awake.
I don't know how long i've been sleeping.
Also, i cannot move my body. Great, i guess my conscious awoke at the wrong time.
I can't even breathe properly. Like, i need to breathe manually and slowly. There's some kind of pressure on my nose that will close my nose hole if i breathe too hard.
This phenomenon is called "Sleep Paralysis". In short, your soul wakes up first before your brain wakes your body. And let me tell you, this thing can kill you. If you ever encounter this phenomenon, breathe slow and steady. After a few steady breaths, suck every single oxygen as hard as you can that the sudden inhale startle your brain and your body at the same time, waking you up.
I was about to do the process of the "Go away, paralysis demon" ritual, but someone shook my body.
"Alf, wake up. Alf!"
My brain finally sent out signals to my nerves system and woke me up.
I look around, seeing no one except me, Deku, and the driver.
I see Deku holding my shoulder, still shaking my body lightly. To which i respond with wide eyes staring at his face.
"What is it?"
Deku flinched and got slightly nervous when i stared at him intently.
"A-Ah! We arrived at the training ground"
I smiled, appreciating his help in waking me up.
"Thanks for waking me up, Deku"
"No problem, Alf"
He smiled a bit wider than me. Well, nice.
We both step out of the bus, following the others who have exited the bus.
Before i start mutterin-
"I've been waiting for you guys"
In a quick motion, everyone turned to the entrance of the facility. Someone is standing in front of the entrance, greeting us with open arms.
It wears a space sweater, space pants, a space helmet, and it has TIMBS ON.
No joke, it wears yellow timbs.
Overall, he looks similar to the Juggernaut from MWII 2022. The Jugg also wears timbs on, for your info. So the space hero - i think - feels related to the Juggernaut based on the timbs and the looks of it.
Also, the space helmet looks like a vacuum cleaner if you remove the helmet and thin the thick metal/iron part of it.
I don't know why, but everyone admirres this hero.
"Thirteen is one of my favorite heroes!" Shouts Uraraka.
I nudge Deku's shoulder. "Yo, who's this spaceman?"
"You don't know who Thirteen is?"
I shook my head. "Nope, not at all"
"Thirteen is the hero who saves thousands of people across the world! How did you not know that?"
*Scratches my butt like a monke* "Dunno, i dum. I lack smart"
Before i witnessed Deku's reaction to my weird behavior, Thirteen told us to head inside the facility.
Everyone, including Deku, headed inside. I follow Deku from behind, walking like a monke. Somehow, i hear no giggles, nor disgusted eyes watching me.
I guess everyone is more excited about the Joint Training.
I nudge Deku's back monke style. "So, who owns this place? And who runs this facility?"
Instead of getting an answer from Deku, Thirteen answered. "I created this training facility to prepare you to deal with different types of disaster. I called it, the Unforeseen Simulation Joint! But you can call it, USJ!"
On the USJ part, she pointed somewheere that i don't think everyone is paying attention to. I don't know why but everyone seems to have a deadpan face when Thirteen says USJ.
Thank u for the energetic greetings, spaceman. Hold up, he sounds like a girl though.
"Hey Deku, is Thirteen a girl?"w of irresponsibility, Mr Aizawa, he's utilizing his quirk inefficiently.
He's not irresponsible, he's just using his quirk way too many times and running out of power quickly since he gave his power to Deku.
"The clock's ticking, we should get started"
"Excellent! Before we begin, let me just say one thing. Well, maybe two things. Possibly three?"
I suddenly felt an intense atmosphere among us.
"Or four, or fiv-"
"We get it!" Suddenly, every single student here screamed. I may be the only one who gets surprised by the screams of annoyed students.
"Listen carefully. I'm sure you're aware that i have a powerful quirk, it's called Black Hole. I can use it to suck up anything and turn it into dust"
Can you suck your own hands? I mean, can you suck another black hole? No?
He continued his pretty short speech. Everyone smiled, except for me and a few students that i either didn't know or forgot.
"Right. Now that that's over-"
The light suddenly turned off, and most of us started chattering about what just happened. Suddenly, on the water fountain, a space distortion happened. A purple portal appeared on the water fountain in the middle of the USJ.
Aizawa knows what will come out of the portal.
"Stay together and don't move! Thirteen, protect the students!" Sensei, i would like to complain. Like, how do i capture the villains if i can't fricking move?
Following Aizawa's gaze to the portal, Kirishima leans back, startled by a person coming out of the portal. "What the hell is that thing!?" Villains started to appear out of the portal, there's dozens of them.
"Wait, is the training started already? I thought we were rescuing people" Kirishima, this is what i call "Training becomes chaos in seconds".
"Stay back!" Aizawa shouts, making the students who are trying to go forward stop. He put his glasses on, preparing himself for a big battle.
"This is real, those are villains!" Everyone gasped, probably not believing what they were witnessing right now.
I take a look at the villains walking towards us from a very very far distance. I mean, this place is huge. Like a football stadium. Wait, football stadium is still smaller than this place.
Among the villains, i see not a few, but several figures i recognise. It seems odd... Hold on, those figures are holding weapons. They look familiar, too familiar.
Oh frock, it's them. The Scavengers.
Did Mio speed up their arrival? They're supposed to arrive a few days later! I should take them out myself. Why? You ask? Let me list it for you.
First, they have many deadly weapons. Even though most of their weaponry consists of melee weapons, making those melee Scav easy to beat, their ranged Scavengers are much deadlier to fight against. Second, i don't believe there are only several of them. There's gotta be more.
Third, there's definitely a chance for special enemies to appear out of the portal. Such as the Bucket Man, the Sledgequeen, and that one Russian guy. Not to mention that there are more than two factions in Decaying Winter. I hope there's no buffed Ice Scav1One of the most ridiculously overpowered enemies in Decaying Winter. It can parry, block, grapple, and dodge. It is advised to don't get involved with it. Yes, i called this scavenger with 'it' pronunciation. Although it appears as human, it's not human anymore. He even had some immunities! I'm not dealing with it.or the CQC Scout2A weaker version of Buffed Ice Scav. Although weaker, he can dodge, parry, grapple, and dodge. Just like the Buffed Ice Scav.. These 2 are nightmares to fight in close range.
Fourth, Even though these kids have superpowers, they have no experience in real combat! And fifth, none of these people knows who the Scavengers are!!!
I don't think the Scavs can see me from this far. Let me just...
Suddenly, everyone evacuates to the entrance except Aizawa, who's sliding down the stairs to the group of villains. I was startled, so i followed them from behind. I think i skipped plenty of dialogue. Just after plenty of steps, Kurogiri appeared in front of us.
"I won't let you"
Everyone stops, and Kurogiri begins his speech.
"We are the-"
"Don't care, didn't ask" I cut his speech. I have a good reason to cut his speech.
"Ah, you. Your business is with them, not us" He activated his quirk, teleporting me to the windstorm area. It's pretty cozy here, nice. But, why is it snowy? In fact, why do i have an Agent Watch3A watch that Agents in Decaying Winter wears. It displays the layout of the map, and notifies Agents about the storm.?
Oh... Well, Alhamdulillah. I guess I'm trapped inside the windstorm dome till someone found me.
