(Alf P.O.V)

It's pretty cold here, inside this building.

And the current situation I'm in is just worsening my thoughts. For your information, I'm currently in a position that most people say 'sitting duck'. But fortunately, none of these sick demons and Scavengers have noticed my presence for the past 30 minutes.

If you thought i got sent to the disaster dome by Kurogiri and forced to meet with the residents of Eden-2271 A cold, windy planet where Decaying Winter takes place. It's uhh... It's a long and bit complicated story., you're right. If you say i met a Scavenger right after Kurogiri teleported me, you're right. That guy shot me on sight with a fridging Glock. He has a bad aim, fortunately. And if you were thinking there's more than one faction around my hiding spot, you nailed it.

This is the worst hiding spot i least wanted. For real, this place looks like a hangar. And in this hangar, there's a chained Sickler on a corner and a Hanger near it. To top it off, 4 Scavengers are waiting outside, looking for me.

'God, why...'

I'm glad this is a hangar, so i got plenty of space to hide.

I got chased right after Kurogiri 'took' me here, i can only wait till someone here made a grave mistake. I hope one of the Scavs outsides notices the Reikgon demons. If any of you guys say: "Spawn lots of TNT! Throw flammable stuff! Drop a nuke, that'll work.", i take that as advice if i weren't restricted from using S.A.M. Yes, i can't use S.A.M, cause i don't have it right now. Its place was taken by an AGENT2 A watch that every agent wears. It contains lots of stuff and information and can identify threats and warn an agent about incoming storms. watch. So, no overpowered game items.

The Scavs start sweeping the area. They check every spot. Behind crates, under boxes, above shelves, and even inside a rusty plane. It's just a matter of time till they found me. I looked around, grabbed a small rock, and threw it at the Sickler.

'Tack!'

The Sickler stopped moving, 'it' slowly turned around, looking at the crates in the middle of the hangar. Of course, 'it' found nothing. I quickly ducked down after pissing 'it' off. I tried to peek a bit and saw 'it' gazing at the gate of the hangar. I turn around only to find the 4 Scavs approaching the end of the hangar, looking for me.

'Clinginging, Cling, Cling Clinging'

I heard a rattled chain noise, i put my attention back to 'it' and saw 'it' trying to break free from the chain wrapping 'it'. I'm pretty screwed. I have nothing but a rock. What am i supposed to do with this? I look back and forth between the Sickler and the Scavs. I slowly walk backward, step by step. I can exit this upcoming chaos through where i enter this place.

Right after i heard the fallen steel of the chain touching the floor, i quickly ran toward the exit. A Scav snaps his head towards me, quite startled by my rushing sprint. As he was about to shoot me, a scream was heard not far from him. I knew what wail that was. It got me chills. Shivers ran down my spine. I ran even faster because I sure as hell didn't want to end up ripped and torn apart.

I managed to get out of the place. A scream and gunshots were heard behind me, pretty loud if you ask me.

'Sorry buddy, I would've not poked that thing if you guys were nice to me.'

'Right, so... Where the heck do I go? And where the heck is the base??'

I questioned myself and my mind and the direction of exit. I'm 100% sure I'm in Decaying Winter, in a dome instead of on a planet. And I've yet to see the base with two turrets guarding. This was not Decaying Winter, yet it is. I mean, as far as i can see, i only see snow. There are snowy roads, snowy covered buildings, cold railings, frozen bicycles, etc. Strange right? If you don't know what I mean, basically, all the stuff I've just mentioned earlier is either cold or covered in snow doesn't exist in the original game—for example, the bicycles.

I only see a crashed plane in the game. We got a storm here inside this urban disaster dome, that's for sure, similar to the original one from DW. AGENT notifies me that the storm will happen in 10 minutes. Now that I'm not a sitting duck, and AGENT made a map of possibly the entirety of the dome, I'll try to visit any place I can enter on the way to the base.

I entered a two-story building. It's a bit cramped if you acknowledge the furniture's presence. There's a lot of stuff inside here. This place only has three fridging rooms, what...? There are tables, vases, chairs, and your standard household furniture for short. I don't think I can use or turn anything as a weapon. In fact, I don't think I found anything useful to at least be a blunt weapon. I see a drawer there, at the end of what used to be a living room. Let's see what's inside...

'Dreeet'

"Great. Of course, USA drawer. What am i even expecting from a patriotic drawer."

I found a gun inside the drawer. Not just an ordinary handgun, but a patriotic one. Yep, 1911. Love it. There's a small ammo package beside it. I took it and examined it. It looks pretty old, but it's still usable. I pull the mag and start checking. Surprisingly, the magazine is full of ACP rounds.

"I thought you were used by your previous owner, my guy. He died first, eh? Or is he a she?"

I said, talking to the honourful 1911. It feels good to have something to defend with. I loaded the magazine back in and went to the bedroom.

I tried lying on the bed, but my senses kept saying i shouldn't be lazy. Or probably my rationality... Oh yeah, i also found an IFAK and a flag pole. Safe to say i can fend off my 'oppositing' parties. I searched the entire building and found well, a can of soda in the kitchen. Only that, and it will expire a day from now. I grab it and open the can.

*Clack!*
*Gulp, gulp.* "Ahh~"

It's so refreshing... Alright, time to explain the situation.

So, i'm currently inside the urban dome, i think. And somehow, no villain was greeting me 'nicely'. Instead, i met a crazy clawing demon, a fridging near-invisible black man, a low-tier god, and a bunch of Scavs, and got nerfed... What, the, FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Okay, chill, chill... *Overthinking*

So, i got nerfed by them. And for a stupid freaking reason, they decided to pick the worst perks of the entirety of DW. Damned. To summarize, Damned is a special perk among the powerful and useful perks in DW. So special indeed, that choosing it will crisp half of your bone and take the difficulty of Decaying Winter from hard to a literal nightmare. If somehow you're a fridging sadist and masochist, why not play DW alone and choose Damned? You'll officially pick the Dark Souls difficulty the game has to offer. Include the ending protocol and you have your complete Roblox version of Dark Souls packed with endless wave shooting and guns, and demons, and robots, and crusaders, and cultists... Oh yeah, sorry. I got lost for a moment.

So, choosing Damned will grant you with no auxiliary equipment - I don't have it, so idc. -. Bear with me now, cause i have a long complaint towards this perk.

Here's a list of the cons :

-40% melee damage, shove speed, swing speed, and movement speed
-66.6% Defense
-55.5% Recoil control, Reload speed, Hipfire accuracy
-Illiterate at aiming
-Just a general human being with no tech or skills to have

Now, for the pros. Uhh... :

-Your boi is already depressed, so no demoralization3In Decaying Winter, if a teammate dies, a debuff will be applied to all living teammates. That is the morale debuff. The debuff will decrease your defense, damage (both melee and long-range), movement speed, and swing and shove speed. To simplify, demoralization. Seeing an ally die even in real life can give you some if not one burden. Thus, it makes you fragile, limp, etc. In Decaying Winter, if your teammate sucks, they're gonna get you killed quite often because the demoralization can be stacked up to 4 morale debuffs.

Y-Yeah, just that. No sick or flashy ability, nope.

And having an ACP-round gun doesn't help, because I can't fricking aim. "God, please help." So, with prayers and will, I venture out once again, looking for a shelter.

(5 Minutes later...)

I would've been patient in searching for a shelter or a place to sleep if there was no time limit, IF. Yes, I have spent like 2 minutes inside that building and only had 2 minutes left to find a functional and actually usable shelter before the cold storm froze me to death. And when I found one, I usually found a few Scavs within the shelter. I'm pretty screwed. I keep my spirit up and say to myself. "You'll find the shelter, that's for sure. If you die, you uh... Well, at least they'll let you die peacefully by the storm." Eventually, just plenty of seconds before the storm swept me off the world... "Readings indicate this area, is safe." - AGENT

I lay down on one of the available sleeping bags left by the operators and tried to sleep. Suddenly, without a warning, I hear a voice.

"I see you..."4https://rblx-decaying-winter.fandom.com/wiki/Enemies#Hidden

God, help.
