"Wow... there are quite a few people here," Yuna muttered as her gaze roamed the bustling training hall, filled with players immersed in their chosen activities.

She observed players, determined expressions etched on their faces, as they practiced their combat skills. Some wielded swords, their strikes landing on wooden dummies in rhythmic patterns. Others took up archery, carefully aiming at circular targets from varying distances.

"Oh? There are players using magic here too," Yuna's eyes widened with intrigue as she pivoted to focus on a young girl, about 15 or 16, who conjured flames with a flick of her wrist. The fiery magic danced in the air before engulfing a wooden dummy in a controlled blaze.

"So, it's true that coming here at the beginning of the game was the right move," Yuna murmured, her thoughts recalling her pre-game knowledge.

"All right! I should try a weapon that suits me... hmm, there's a weapon rack over there," Yuna mused aloud as she strolled toward the rack of weapons.

Yuna examined the assortment of weapons, each with its unique characteristics. Her fingers lightly brushed over the choices before finally settling on a sleek dagger.

"Light and small... I can throw this thing, but it might require high precision... Eh?!" Yuna's voice was tinged with surprise as a sudden blue screen shimmered before her.

The training ground served as a crucible for players to hone their skills before embarking on their virtual journey. Here, they could experiment with various basic weapons in Elysian Online, seeking the perfect fit for their playstyle without constraints. Upon mastering a weapon's fundamentals, they could choose it for their class, receiving additional stats based on their selection.

That was the intended process—players refining their weapon proficiency. Yet, to Yuna's amazement, mastery of the dagger was bestowed upon her with just a single touch.

>> Basic mastery of the dagger Attained <<

The system detected that this player had a basic knowledge of using a dagger and provided additional stats and skills.

• +10% Speed when using a dagger.

• +3 Agility

• +2 Dex

>> Swiftness Acquired <<

A skill that enhances the player's movement speed for a short duration.

• +30% Movement and reaction speed for 30 seconds.

• Cooldown: 5 minutes.

"What... what is this?!" Yuna exclaimed in astonishment, her voice filled with disbelief as she read the system message.

Yuna couldn't fathom how she had acquired basic proficiency in dagger usage before even wielding one, not to mention gaining a new skill.

"I've never played this game before... how did this happen? Where did I get this knowledge all of a sudden?" Yuna mused, her gaze now drifting back to the weapons on the rack.

Not long after making her selection, Yuna carefully returned the dagger to the rack and chose another weapon, this time opting for a sword. As her hand made contact with the hilt, a familiar message materialized before her.

>> Basic Mastery of the sword Attained <<

The system detected that this player had a basic knowledge of using a sword and bestowed additional stats and skills.

• +10% Strength when using a sword.

• +3 Strength

• +2 Endurance

"....." Yuna was at a loss for words, staring at the system message in disbelief.

Casting her gaze left and right, Yuna uttered >>Skill window<<, revealing the newly acquired weapons and skills.

>>Weapon mastery<<

• Basic mastery of the dagger

• Basic Mastery of the sword

>>Skill<<

• Swiftness

• Heavy swing

Yuna remained silent and decided to log out by saying >>Log out<<. The same process repeated as when she had logged in.

"I don't know why this is happening... as far as I know, this shouldn't be happening... right?" Yuna questioned herself, a perplexed expression on her face.

Once she was out of the Capsule, Yuna powered up her nearby computer, situated not far from her capsule.

"I'm sure... maybe this is happening because I haven't read the external game information yet, and I want to make sure this isn't a bug," Yuna explained as she typed a query into her internet browser.

Navigating through the official Elysian Online website, she scoured for information about the issue. Upon discovering a question forum, she posed her query and received an unexpected response – it wasn't a bug but a hidden feature.

>> Why do I get skills automatically before using them? Is this a bug? <<

• Ah! This is not a bug or a game malfunction, but it's because of the player outside of the game. For example, the capsule system detects and scans the player's brain, finding that this player is a martial arts enthusiast who can quickly learn basic martial arts skills.

>> Will this imbalance the game for players without abilities or talents outside the game?

• Don't worry! Players don't need to learn these abilities thoroughly; they can also read in-game information about skills, classes, and the knowledge they desire with a high understanding of what they read, making it easier for less talented players to compete with those who are naturally gifted.

>> Can players learn any skill in the game through this method?

• Hmm... theoretically, it's possible, but the developers have implemented a system that will show a skill notification when players can use or learn a skill based on their level, skill level, or weapon proficiency for that skill. Players will also see what they need to unlock the skill or understand it in terms of percentages... in short, learning any skill through this method is not impossible, but it requires extensive knowledge of Elysian Online, which we estimate would take about a year for a player to have a basic understanding of the game's skills... that is if they spend their time doing that instead of playing... hahaha.

"Taking a year and wasting time, huh?... hahaha... wasting time, and this is not a bug, huh?" Yuna chuckled as she read the response.

Yuna inhaled deeply and rose to her feet, peering out the window on the floor. The city below was on the brink of being drenched by rain, and a mischievous smile crept onto her face.

"They say it's a waste of time, but they don't realize how broken it is for someone like me...huhuhu," Yuna softly laughed, reminiscing about the preparations she made a year ago.

"A year ago... I waited for this game capsule, and in that year, I learned a lot about Elysian Online without playing, preparing myself... who would have thought my efforts during that time would pay off? What possibilities does this open up for me...hahaha..." Yuna pondered aloud, gazing at her hands.

Not wanting to waste any more time, Yuna re-entered the capsule and clicked >>Log in<< with newfound confidence.

...

"All right! Let's do this!" Yuna's voice was filled with enthusiasm as she glanced at the weapon rack. She proceeded to select and return each weapon available, gaining basic mastery of every weapon type and its corresponding basic skill.

Yuna's actions drew curious glances from nearby players, leaving some wondering about her intentions.

"Why is that girl taking and putting back weapons?" one player asked another, while engaged in precision archery practice.

"I don't know, maybe she can't decide what to choose... I already got this archer skill, tonight we'll start leveling," the player named Selia replied to her fellow player, Ling.

"Good for you, Selia... I got my magic skill a while ago. It's a pity it takes so long to learn basic weapon mastery and its skills. If not, I would have learned them all by now... isn't it easy?" Ling commented to Selia, who seemed uninterested.

Selia offered only a sigh, showing her disinterest in the discussion.

"...I've chosen my class and decided to be a mage, so I want to find quests in town first before leveling tonight... bye!" Ling announced, exiting the training ground with an eager step.

"Hmm... I have something to do too," Selia declared, following Ling out of the training hall.

"Huhuhu... so my luck was thrown away from the outside world... just seeing this is enough to make any early players jealous," Yuna said with joy.

"I... don't know why the developer says this won't imbalance the game... with stats like this, the starting monsters outside won't be a problem... hmm, I just entered this game, so let's check out the town first before I start leveling tonight during Elysian time because at night, mobs drop more experience, and with the weekly exp event, I'm sure I can level up at least... 10 levels," Yuna mused as she gazed up at the sky above the training hall.

After a brief pause, Yuna decided it was time to leave the training ground and embark on her exploration of the town while seeking out quests.

"All right, let's begin the exploration!" Yuna declared before setting off in front of the training hall.
