Then, I sit on the chair in front of me, after I sat she handed me a deck to play. 

"For simplicity, today I only have 2 starter deck with the same deck list as example for this duel, tomorrow I'll explain what's an archetype is. Ryuto you can check the deck before we shuffle our deck to play" She ask

"Nah... just let the game begin already, I think it'll be more fun to know how the deck work during gameplay" I say 

"Oh yea ok then" she reply, after that we shuffle our deck

After we shuffle our deck, she start explain the basic rule to start a Duel. "We start with deciding which players play first with dice, coin or rock, paper, scissor, the winner decide the one who play first. So, Ryuto, which one should you pick?"

"I pick, flip a coin game, and I choose head"

"Oh I didn't remember you're such a gambler before" She say, then she grab a coin from her pocket and toss it to air. It landed on head.

"Oof that's unlucky for me, ok Ryuto you can decide whether ya going first or second"

"Heh I'll choose first, because I'll win this duel" I say confidently, as we draw 5 cards from top of the deck"

"Oh, I like that confident!" She reply, then she continue "Oh yea, as the game begin we start our life points with 8000, in each player's turn there's 6 phase that's draw phase, standby phase, main phase, battle phase, main phase 2 and lastly end phase, I'll explain each phase during Ryuto's turn, now start your turn"

"Ok, in draw phase, I can't draw because I'm going first, and I'm sure the cards I have in my hand aren't able to activate their effect in standby phase, so I skip to my main phase" I say as I ready to play my card

"Oh I didn't expect you to know the new rule, I thought you will draw in your draw phase, but I think I forgot that you like seeing people dueling on TV, ya must be caught up with current meta aren't you?" she say

"Hoho, ya know it" I reply, then, I actually see cards in my hand it's...  make me speechless

these cards that I notice on my hand are Elemental HERO Blazeman, Lady Debug and Angel Trumpter, what kinda deck is this, dear god then, I continue, "I'll normal summon lady debug, and activate its effect to search level 3 or lower cyberse monster from deck to my hand, I wonder are these starter deck got any handtrap?" I ask her for response

"Handtrap? a card that can be activate from hand during opponent turn? no, I think they'll learn it later. But anyway, So you guys see, in Main Phase is a phase, where you can play your spell card and normal summon a monster, normal summon can be done freely if the monster have 4 or lower stars on it or we call it level, if you want to normal summon level 5 or 6 monster you have to tribute 1 monster at field by sending it to graveyard, and if you want to normal summon level 7 or higher monster, you have to tribute 3 monster instead. each player only could only normal summon once per turn. Since there's no handtrap in these deckm you can continue your play Ryuto" She say

"Ok then, lets see" I see what the card could search.

huh. the only thing it can search is a level 2 Cyberse monster Link Infra-Flier, oh ok then

"I add Link Infra-Flier from my deck to my hand, and hm... lemme check the extra deck"

Oh I can see it, so this what the deck intent, I didn't expect she create a perfect deck to introduce all extra deck monsters mechanic, there's 4 type of extra deck in this deck, like Stardust Dragon, Number 39: Utopia, Elemental HERO Gaia.

"Ok, then I link summon 1 link 1 monster Link Disciple from extra deck with its requirement to summon it is 1 level 4 or lower Cyberse monster and since Lady Bug that I control is a Level 4 Cyberse monster, I send Lady Bug to the graveyard to summon Link Disciple , then by effect of Link Infra-Flier I can special summon it from my hand to monster zone that pointed by arrow that link monster have, then, I send both of them to graveyard to Link Summon another Link monster, this time with 2 Cyberse monster I control I Link summon Link 2 monster Splash Mage then I activate Splash Mage effect to special summon 1 Cyberse monster from graveyard, then lastly I Link Summon Link 3 monster, with Link 2 monster and 1 Cyberse monster I control as material, I treated Link 2 monster as 2 monster and with that I Link Summon Decode Talker Heatsoul  with its effect I pay 1000 life points to draw 1 card from top of my deck" then I look what I draw, "This is ok, I can use it next turn, for now I set 2 cards and pass my turn since i'm going first I can't go to battle phase"

"Oh, you already know how to link climb huh. that's quite impressive" She say, she seems quite surprised with my ability to able to climb high link monster in single turn

"Hey aren't you the one that make the deck? I just pilot it with what the deck builder intended" I reply

"Ho.... Interesting, then you shall be ready for what I'll do in my" She say

 "Ok, now it's my turn, I draw, hoho this is pretty good hand, Ryuto be ready" she say as the turn passed on her
