William's POV

[Ding* Hostile detected and approaching fast.

As William's ears registered the sudden voice, he barely had time to react before a towering, lavender-hued monster materialized mere inches away, its visage reminiscent of lilacs in bloom. It lunged forward with lightning speed, taking both William and the system by surprise. Helpless, he watched as his own body succumbed to the assailant's swift, relentless assault. Over the next few moments, William witnessed the system employing a variety of tactics, but none of them appeared to perturb the imposing creature in the slightest.

[Ding* The system is unable to move the host's body.

[Ding* Unable to determine a solution. The system must request assistance from the primary user.

[Ding* Restoring the primary user's active consciousness.

William felt a sudden force pulling at him, bringing him back to his physical existence. As soon as he reoccupied his body, panic and fear surged through him.

"AH! Who is this monster? Let go!" he fearfully shouted. However, the monster only tightened its grip on William.

After several futile attempts to escape, William suddenly felt two sharp points of pressure on the left side of his neck as his flesh was pierced.

Before he could scream, a stream of unfamiliar energy seeped into his body, paralyzing him once more. William began to feel disconnected from his physical state as he observed the monster's towering figure gradually wither away until only ashes remained, and the monster's armor was all that was left.

William fell to his knees, clutching his neck in pain. He noticed his features had begun to undergo a drastic transformation as he cowered in agony. A few seconds later, the pain turned into anguish as William sensed two horns protruding from either side of his forehead. He felt his teeth and nails transform into conical fangs and razor-sharp claws. William's body grew tremendously, causing his compression suit to stretch beyond its capacity. The mutation tore his clothing in several places, and he noticed a red aura surrounding him.

Suddenly, William felt his mind disconnect from his body and found himself once more in a state of limbo. However, this time, he sensed another presence, which he identified as the monster now controlling his body.

William heard the presence speak in an unknown language through his body and saw it clenching his fists tightly, making the red aura around him more erratic. A powerful draft emanated from his body, pushing away all the nearby corpses and creating a small crater around him. Small pebbles began levitating in his proximity but disintegrated midair. He raised his arms high, clenching his fists in excitement. Once more, William heard the monster speak, although he could not understand its words.

[Ding* Physical mutation detected.

[Ding* Mental corruption detected.

[Ding* Foreign consciousness detected.

[Ding* Massive memory data acquired, creating a folder for memory data.

[Ding* New language detected, analyzing…

William, rendered powerless within his own body, felt violent shudders course through him as the monster continued its relentless shouting in that incomprehensible language.

[Ding* Analysis complete, cataloging all other memory files.

[Ding* Deleting foreign consciousness.

The monster abruptly collapsed to its knees, William's body writhing in apparent agony. Though ignorant of the cause, he sensed the excruciating pain the monster experienced since invading his being. It struggled to maintain its hold, torment evident in every contortion.

"AAAAAAAAAAhh!"

Though it spoke in an unfamiliar tongue, William could discern the anguish in its cries. As he observed, two more creatures resembling the first approached him. One, adorned in leather armor with a large two-handed sword diagonally strapped across its back, bore a muscular, warrior-like physique. The other, aged and weathered, appeared to be at least seventy years old, with a long beard and a face marked by time's passage. Clutching a strange leathery book tightly, this elder figure was draped in robes

William's gaze lingered on the bulky monster in astonishment; its form was strikingly human-like, save for its purplish or lavender-hued skin and the ominous pair of horns jutting from its forehead—features mirrored by the elder creature.

Amidst their unintelligible conversation, the bulky monster seized the elder by the collar, prompting a flurry of exchanged words in their unknown tongue. Meanwhile, the monster within William's body continued its anguished screams until, abruptly, all fell silent.

[Ding* Foreign consciousness purged; mental corruption erased.

[Ding* Reverting physical mutation.

William observed his body transforming yet again, reverting from the warlock general's alien form back to human shape. The crimson aura still swirled around him as the compression suit hung loose and misshapen from the extreme bodily stresses.

[Ding* Restoring primary user consciousness.

As William regained dominion over the physical shell, residual agony from the extreme shapeshifting racked his frame.

[Ding* New language detected: Namreg. Integrating with primary user neural network...

A surge of energy flooded William's brain as the alien tongue's grammar and vocabulary imprinted itself.

[Ding* Integration complete. Primary user now fluent in Namreg.

"What...? Warlock? Namreg?" William murmured aloud, disoriented.

"General?" A guttural voice questioned as William's gaze met the bulky warlock's dumbfounded expression. Moments later, the slimmer warlock arrived, equal astonishment writ across its features.

"General, are you alright?" rumbled the first warlock apprehensively. To William's shock, he found the words comprehensible.

What is this thing? William wondered, scrutinizing the hulking creature even as primal alarm jolted through him.

[Ding* Species identification: Warlock. Designation: Captain Treeku.

You can perceive my thoughts? William deliberately directed inwardly.

[Ding* Affirmative. This system interfaces directly with primary user neural activity.

Are all three aliens warlocks?

[Ding* Confirmed. All humanoids present are warlocks.

What is that elder one called?

[Ding* Subject: Shaman Zaizu.

And the other?

[Ding* Lieutenant Bo.

"General, what happened to you?" Treeku repeated with intensifying concern.

Zaizu interjected, voice frantic, "The scroll said the host adopts the possessor's form! He shouldn't have changed back!"

"So, it failed? And this... is the human?" Bo's expression remained empty, but with a chilling intensity that sent shivers down William's spine.

William observed as Bo's fingers clenched tightly around the spear, his face contorting into a menacing grimace as he poised himself to strike.

"Wait!" Treeku halted him with a grave expression.

"What is it, Treeku?" Bo questioned urgently.

"Can't you sense his cultivation? Peak of platinum. And that's chaos mana."

Zaizu shouted in alarm, "Precisely! That is undoubtedly the General's aura!"

"Exercise caution," Treeku warned them.

[Ding* Mental corruption detected.

Abruptly, savage agony exploded in William's skull, toppling him to his knees with an anguished cry as he smashed the ground in front of him. Another obese warlock rushed over in a panic, struggling to raise William up. "General! What's wrong?!"

Involuntarily, William seized the warlock by his jaw and smashed him headfirst into the stone-like ground, crushing his skull completely.

[Ding* Mental corruption removed.

"General! Why murder the sergeant?" Bo exclaimed, stunned into silence the instant their eyes locked.

"You're no warlock! Attack!" Bo roared in frenzied realization. His vanguard of undead soldiers lurched forward.

[Ding* Mental corruption detected.

Suddenly, William's screams pierced the air once more, resonating with an otherworldly intensity as the crimson aura enveloping him surged, transforming into a searing, chromatic shade of vivid red. With a deafening roar, raw energy erupted violently from his form, crackling and pulsating with unrestrained power. The ground trembled beneath his feet as the air crackled with impending destruction.

In an instant, a blinding flash of white light erupted from William's body, illuminating the battlefield with an intensity that rivaled the sun. The shockwave that followed rippled across the plains with unstoppable force, a tsunami of energy that swept everything in its path.

The nearby trees were torn asunder, their trunks splintering and branches snapping like twigs in a tempest. The undead warriors were ripped to shreds, and the warlocks, once defiant, became mere playthings in the face of such raw power. They attempted to shield themselves with barriers of mana, but it was futile. The force of the explosion overcame them, hurling them through the air like rag dolls, their bodies limp and lifeless as they crashed to the ground, scattered amidst the debris.

Within the chaos, William remained steadfast, a solitary figure in the devastation he had wrought. The destructive wave, born from the depths of his being, had left him unscathed, a testament to the sheer magnitude of his power. Yet, as the echoes of destruction faded, he felt the weight of exhaustion bear down upon him, his strength drained by the cataclysmic release of energy.

Slowly, he sank to his knees amidst the carnage, his breaths ragged and labored. Around him lay the remnants of his enemies.

"Aaaah! So much pain! So much anger! Why am I so angry?!"

[Ding* Unable to remove mental corruption, researching medical and psychological files for a solution...

[Ding* Temporarily suspending the primary user's active consciousness.

William once again found himself, involuntarily, not in control of his own body, with messages and images incessantly popping up before him.

Magical cultivation realms on Xerxes:

Realms refer to the mortal realm, bronze realm, silver realm, gold realm, black gold realm, platinum realm, and diamond realm.

(From Lowest to Highest) 1-9 star Mortal, 1-9 star Bronze, 1-9 star Silver, 1-9 star Gold, 1-9 star Black Gold, 1-9 star Platinum, 1-9 Star Diamond.

Each realm is divided into three parts:

Small stars, earthly stars, and sky stars.

Cultivators who have reached the first three stars in any of the realms are in the small stars[1st star, 2nd star, 3rd star]

Cultivators who have reached the middle three stars, in any of the realms, are in the earthly stars[4th star, 5th star, 6th star]

Cultivators who have reached the final three stars in any of the realms are in the sky stars[7th star, 8th star, 9th star]

Every star is divided into four stages:

Initial, Intermediate, Advanced, and Peak.

When cultivators first break through to a new star, they are in the initial stage of that star. Over time, as they cultivate, they can advance to the intermediate stage and then the advanced stage. The final stage of a star is the peak stage.

Once cultivators reach the peak stage of a star, they can attempt to break through to the next star.

Once cultivators have reached the peak stage of the 9th star of any realm, the cultivators are considered to be at the peak of that realm.

…...(Other data is being analyzed in this portion)…...

Mortal realm cultivators can't use spells until they reach the 1st-star bronze.

Only when a cultivator reaches 1st-star bronze can they use voice transmission to communicate telepathically.

…...(Other data is being analyzed in this portion)…...

Cultivators can cultivate 24 different classes:

Wizard, Magician, Body Enhancer, Battle Mage, Controller, Destruction, Shapeshifter, Herbalist, Creationist, Magic Animal Tamer, Poison Master, Spirit Enchanter, Wish, Healer, Divination, Charmer, Space, Luck, Reaper, Blood Mage, Witch, Shaman, Necromancer, and Demonic.

The cultivation class must be chosen from the gold realm.

Mortal, bronze, and silver realms are neutral.

…...(Other irrelevant data is being analyzed in this portion)…...

Multiple intelligent life forms:

Humans, warlocks, dwarves, elves, fairies, pixies, giants, goblins, orcs, halflings, hobbits, merfolk, trolls, demi-human, ogres... etc.

Relevant file located: All warlocks are born with a condition known as "Lyssa."

Lyssa: A condition that drives warlocks mad. If not dealt with at an early age, it can make them lose their minds, turning them into nothing more than rabid animals.

Cure: Infant warlocks are bathed in fresh human blood (Male) before reaching the 2nd-star mortal realm. 1st star mortal realm warlocks require the sacrifice of two human males. 2nd star mortal realm warlocks require four human males. The number of human male sacrifices required increases the higher the cultivation realm. As they are being bathed, several hand signs and an incantation must be repeated.

[Ding* Error: Cannot comply as it conflicts with secondary function.

[Ding* Secondary function: Protect all human life.

[Ding* Primary function: Protect host/primary user at all costs.

[Ding* Primary function conflicts with the secondary function.

[Ding* Override required to proceed further. Restoring the primary user's active consciousness.

William's POV

"Gahhh!" William's scream pierced the air as agonizing heat and cold seized his body. He felt as if he were being cooked alive one minute and frozen solid the next. "Make it stop!" he begged desperately; voice ragged.

[Ding* The system has found a solution to the primary user's condition.

"You can fix this?! Help me then!" William's words tumbled out in a frenzy, wracked by alternating waves of searing and icy torment.

[Ding* The system cannot comply, as the cure violates the secondary function.

[Ding* However, the secondary function is currently conflicting with the primary function.

Lost in a tsunami of pain, William could barely grasp the system's response. "Please just end this!" he cried out, writhing as if on a bed of nails.

[Ding* Primary function: Protect host/primary user at all costs.

[Ding* Secondary function: Protect all human life.

[Ding* To proceed, an override is required of the primary or secondary function.

It was as if William was being stabbed by a million freezing needles one second, then dipped in molten lava the next. "I'll do anything, please!" he pleaded, every nerve in his body shrieking in protest.

[Ding* The primary function can overwrite the secondary function. However, the system cannot do so since it involves human lives. Therefore, user authorization is required. Both the administrator and the primary user can resolve all errors by stating what solution the system should use. This is only if it does not conflict with the primary function. Only the administrator can override the primary function or shut down the system fully. If the system shuts down without an administrator override, a portion will always remain active.

"I don't care how, just end this torture!" William screamed, blinded by excruciating sensations no human could endure.

[Ding* Should the system override the primary function or-

"Yes! Override it now!" William roared with what little strength he had left, body contorting violently against the onslaught of scorching cold and blistering heat.

[Ding* Override Rejected! Primary function can only be overwritten by the Administrator.

"Override the other one, then! Anything!" William screamed at the top of his burning lungs, holding his head and squinting his eyes in pain.

[Ding* Secondary function override Accepted!

[Ding* Temporarily suspending the primary user's full consciousness.

A glaring flash blinded William as everything turned to darkness.
