That night, Victoire was invited to the elder's campfire. A campfire exclusively for the Aristocrats or the royal blood Veelas. There was one factor that hindered her right to be part of the campfire and that was her being a half-blood, and that was overlooked since her grandmother, as the matriarch of the tribe, has the authority to invite her to the party.

As the celebration continued, the sun dipped below the horizon, and the Veela Reservoir was bathed in the soft, ethereal glow of the moon and stars. The Veela elders, including Victoire, gathered around a crackling campfire, its flames dancing and casting flickering shadows.

The air was filled with an enchanting mixture of the Veela song and the crackling of the fire. The warmth of the fire and the camaraderie of the Veela tribe set the stage for a magical evening. They all settled down, forming a circle around the fire, ready to share stories and tales.

"Tonight,"

announced Victoire's grandmother with her unusually melodious voice.

"We shall share our tales, each a glimpse into our past and the magic that defines us. Our stories have been passed down through generations, embodying the essence of the Veela."

One by one, the Veelas began to share their stories. Tales of love, of battles be it a small argument or a bloody battle with the ministry of magic, and of the magic that flowed through their veins. Victoire listened intently, captivated by the wisdom and history of her people.

A Veela with silver hair, her eyes reflecting the firelight, began the story of the first Veela.

"In the wizarding world, magical theories often involve fascinating origins and connections, providing a rich tapestry of beliefs and interpretations. However, that's all a pile of bullshit. A nonsensical display of the wizard's limited wisdom. Trying to cover up what they cannot understand with a layer of lies.

The theory that Veelas, Banshees, and Sirens were once three witch sisters who failed Animagus transformation may be a captivating and imaginative one, but that is all the imagination of those foolish wizards."

She finished her speech and a second elder stood up and began telling this story in full.

"Once upon a time, in an age veiled by the mists of forgotten magic, there existed three extraordinary sisters whose destiny was intertwined with the very fabric of the magical world. Their tale was one of ambition, sisterhood, and the profound mysteries of transformation, shaping the essence of beings known today as Veelas, Banshees, and Sirens."

A soft melody flowed through the meadow as several other Veelas joined in on the campfire, they hummed and whistled, and yet their song was sweeter than any electronic jumble that she heard as a bartender.

"The Sisters' Ambition began in a quaint village surrounded by an ancient forest, the three sisters were raised within a lineage renowned for their prowess in magical arts. Each sister possessed a unique affinity for transformation magic and dreamt of achieving something exceptional in the realm of magical metamorphosis.

The eldest sister, Isolde, possessed a deep fascination for grace, beauty, and captivating allure. She yearned to transform into something that embodied ethereal elegance and a bewitching presence.

The second sister, Morgana, was drawn to heralded sorrow and misfortune and mournful wails. Intrigued by the haunting presence, she yearned to master the art of mastering sorrowful wails.

The youngest sister, Seraphina, had a fascination for enchanting songs and doom. She envisioned herself with the power to entrance others with her melodious voice and bewitching tunes.

The sisters, consumed by their ambitions, embarked on a fateful night of transformation, seeking to become Animagi that embody their fascinations. They chose a sacred clearing within the heart of the ancient forest, where the boundaries between the magical and mundane were thin.

Isolde, the eldest sister, stood in the moonlit clearing, the night alive with an aura of magic. She closed her eyes and envisioned herself feeling the wind and the very essence of gracefulness. She chanted incantations and focused her energy, allowing her essence to flow into a different form. As the transformation spell reached its peak, something unexpected happened—the magic surged and swirled, twisting and turning. Isolde felt a transformation and turned into the very first Veela.

In another corner of the clearing, Morgana, the second sister, began her transformation. She envisioned the sorrowful wails, feeling the depths of the mournful cries of death itself. She chanted the incantations, feeling the mystical energy surge within her. However, much like her elder sister, the transformation spell took an unexpected turn. The magic twisted and shifted, altering her form in a way she had not foreseen. Leaving her with an ethereal form and a haunting cry that foretold misfortune, and the Banshee was created.

In yet another part of the clearing, Seraphina, the youngest sister, began her transformation. She envisioned the captivating songs, feeling the magical melodies course through her. She chanted the incantations, focusing on the enchantment of song. The transformation took an unexpected twist, just as with her sisters. The magic melded with her essence, permanently merging her with the traits she envisioned, granting her an ethereal voice and the ability to captivate with her melodies. And the Siren began their regime of the oceans.

The sisters decided to establish a sanctuary where they could reside and embrace their roles as Veelas, Banshees, and Sirens. They chose a serene forest and designated a mystical pond as the epicenter of their new dwelling—a place where they could share their enchantment with the world."

A burst of laughter erupted amongst the Veelas. A grin appeared on Victoire's mother and Grandmother's faces.

Victoire, however, knew nothing that might have been amusing to them. To her, it was a plausible theory. This tale wove a tapestry of Veela history, each event unveiling a different aspect of their culture and magic.

But apparently, this theory/story is fake.

The first Elder who began the story stood up and started to sing, her melodious tune carried the true story of the Veelas.

(I ain't got no talent in singing so I'ma write it down plainly)

"In the ancient annals of magical history, a profound and interconnected triad emerged—Veelas, Banshees, and Sirens—each embodying the fundamental elements of the natural world. Within this story, they are representatives of the sky, the earth, and the sea, embodying the mystical tapestry of life."

A second Veela stood up and continued the song,

"In the celestial realm above, where clouds dance and the stars shimmer, the Veelas were born from the essence of the sky.

The vast expanse of the heavens, with its ever-changing hues and boundless freedom, was their cradle of creation. Veelas embodied the ethereal beauty and grace of the sky.

Veelas, with their radiant aura and captivating presence, were akin to celestial beings. Their luminous visage, as dazzling as the day and as mesmerizing as the night, was a reflection of the ever-changing sky.

Veelas were drawn to the heavens, soaring amidst the clouds, their dance echoing the celestial ballet. They were the guardians of the sky, weaving in harmony with the winds and embracing the freedom of flight. Much like the sky, they could be gentle zephyrs or powerful tempests, their emotions reflected in the shifting weather patterns. Their laughter was the gentle breeze, and their fury, the storm that challenged the heavens."

And yet another Veela took up the chant after her,

"In the hearts of the ancient forests and the tranquil meadows, the Banshees were born, representing the essence of the earth.

The solid ground beneath, the verdant landscapes, and the mysteries of the natural world—these were the cradle of their existence. Banshees embodied the primal forces of the earth.

Banshees were attuned to the cycles of life, representing birth, growth, decay, and rebirth. They were guardians of the land, connected to the very soil and nurturing essence of the earth. The whispers of the forests and the echoes of mountains were their songs.

Their mournful cries foretold the passage of life, echoing the sorrow and resilience found in nature. Banshees roamed the wilderness, listening to the tales of the trees and the secrets whispered by the stones. They embodied the fierce strength of the earth, resilient against the tests of time."

A blue-haired Veela, the first she saw with blue hair, began her drunk chants.

"In the depths of the vast oceans and the mysterious abyss, the Sirens emerged, embodying the essence of the sea.

The rhythmic waves, the mysteries of the deep, and the boundless expanse of water were their origins. Sirens embodied the enchanting and enigmatic allure of the sea.

Sirens were like creatures born from the depths, their voices a mesmerizing melody echoing the gentle lapping of waves and the roaring tempests. They had a natural affinity with the sea, its ebb and flow reflecting their grace and fluidity.

They were the guardians of the sea, attuned to its rhythms and secrets. Sirens would navigate the vastness of the ocean, singing songs of maritime magic and guiding sailors through turbulent waters. They embodied the gentle caress of the tides and the fierce power of the storms."

After they finished their chant, Victoire's Grandmother began chanting in a soft voice.

"In the mystical grove known as the Confluence of Elements, the Veelas, Banshees, and Sirens united, recognizing the interconnectedness of their existence. They realized that their diversity in essence was the very strength that held the fabric of magic and nature together.

United in purpose, they vowed to protect and preserve the delicate balance of the natural world, understanding that their unique strengths were necessary for the world's harmony.

Veelas, Banshees, and Sirens remained a symbol of the ancient trinity—a reminder that the sky, the earth, and the sea were interconnected and vital for the flourishing of life."

Soon, it was Victoire's turn, turn at what? who the hell knew? But she kept her mouth shut and her eyes vacant. Her grandmother encouraged her gently,

"Share what is in your heart, my dear. Every experience shapes us, and your story is a part of the Veela legacy."

Share on what exactly? Unsure of what to say, she spoke out what was on her mind.

"I need a drink, and maybe a smoke too."

The Veelas, who were listening to her attentively, laughed loudly. The Blue-haired Veela's eyes filled with understanding and compassion. She attempted to pass Victoire a flask of fire-whiskey but her head was bashed into the ground by the Matriarch.

While they appreciated Victoire's honesty, they certainly didn't expect her to ask for liquor and tobacco.

As the night wore on, their stories concluded, and the Veelas gathered closer to the fire. The crackling flames and the soft hum of the Veela song created a soothing ambiance. The Veela tribe embraced Victoire as one of their own, sharing their acceptance and love.

Victoire leaned back against a soft cushion, which she didn't realize was the tied body of the drunk blue-haired Veela. The warmth of the fire lulled her into a sense of peace, the rhythmic crackling of the fire and the harmonious melodies of the Veela song sang her a lullaby. She closed her eyes, the tales and the enchanting atmosphere embracing her like a comforting embrace. Amid the Veela tribe, under the vast expanse of the starlit sky, she fell into a tranquil sleep.

As the first rays of the morning sun gently caressed the Reservoir, a peaceful hush blanketed the clearing where Victoire had fallen asleep. Slowly, she stirred, her eyes fluttering open to the magical dawn. Stretching out her limbs, she yawned and rubbed her eyes.

Her gaze swept through the surroundings and was met with a heartwarming, if not too erotic, sight—the clearing was adorned with slumbering Veelas, each one letting out cute snores or snuggling into their neighbor. Something, that she was certain, a normal wizard would give his or her life to see.

The remnants of the feast from the previous night were still visible, empty or half-filled bottles of drinks, leftover pastries and fruits, and fire, a whole lot of fire, smoldering the banks of the pond.

This was the remnants of a celebration that had taken place in honor of Victoire's return. The fire pits, now a bed of gentle embers, whispered stories of a night well spent.

Victoire sat up, a sense of fatigue, awe, and wonder washing over her. The Veela Reservoir had accepted her in their midst and she had awakened amid the Veela tribe, surrounded by lovely women and the magical sight of her newfound family. The beauty of the morning, the soft rustle of leaves, and the melodies of nature created a symphony that resonated with her soul. She was certain of the fact that had she been an adult, she would have died bleeding out from her nose.

Being a child somewhat dulled one's... instincts... yes, let's call it that only.

She attempted to stand up but felt a soft, almost mind-numbing sensation on her hands. Looking down, she saw what she had been sleeping on, the blue-haired Veela that had been drinking heavily was bound by grass rope and was snoring away beneath her. She quietly stood up, making sure not to wake the Veela, and walked through the clearing, observing the other sleeping Veelas.

Each one of them possessed a unique grace, a testament to the Veela heritage. Some of them were blond, the rest silver or platinum-haired. Mostly light-colored hair. But, there were a couple of them sprinkled in between them who had darker shades. Including the blue-haired one, there were still ten or twenty other shades of darker color. Overall, if someone saw this scene from the sky, then it would have looked like a white tapestry peppered with rainbow dots all over it.

Her grandmother, the epitome of grace and beauty, was seated nearby, her eyes still closed in serene slumber. Victoire approached and gently placed a delicate flower beside her. It was a small gesture of gratitude for the love and acceptance she had received. Afterward, Victoire went over to the place where she remembered her stuff had been stored.

Moments after her departure, the Veelas started to open their eyes. The matriarch, in particular, smiled as she sniffed the hyacinth that Victoire placed near her. Slowly, a jingling laugh escaped her lips, followed by the laughs of the rest of the Veela nearby. Including the muffled shouts of the tied-up blueberry.

{Yep, I'ma call the blue head a blueberry.}

For six more months, Victoire immersed herself in the Veela Reservoir's embrace. She learned the intricacies of Veela magic, their affinity for nature, and their unique bond with the world around them. The Veelas graciously shared their knowledge, and Victoire embraced each lesson with enthusiasm and respect.

Under the guidance of her grandmother and the Veela tribe, Victoire began to harness her Veela abilities, only one though. The Veela's song, a mesmerizing melody that stirred the soul, became her focus. She practiced and honed her song, feeling the resonance of its power within her.

However, her blood was indeed a noble one for she had a natural affinity with fire. She mastered the spell 'Incendio' on the first try and a week later, she could use it without a wand. A feat much appreciated by her grandmother.

Over time, the Veela Reservoir became her sanctuary, where she found solace and belonging. The beauty of the natural world, the wisdom of the Veelas, and the gentle guidance of her grandmother fueled her growth and nurtured her spirit.

Since her arrival, every night was a campfire party and after the song, the Veelas would turn their attention to a shared feast. The feasts were a lavish spread of fruits, pastries, and magical delicacies. Victoire marveled at the variety of flavors, each dish a testament to these Veela's culinary art.

Though she tried to learn their arts, however, it appears that they finally found something she had no talent for.

She tried to chop up a salad but ended up mistaking salt and baking soda. Cake, forget it, they were harder than concrete, poor Lily(A red-headed Veela) lost her front teeth biting into one of her creations. Smoothie, tasteless chalk water. Pasta? Salt sludge.

Finally, her grandmother has had enough of her rampage. She gave an order, forbidding her access to the kitchen, at least until she learned household spells.

As the summer drew closer and closer, a summon from her father arrived. It was time for her to return to the family mansion, to celebrate her eleventh birthday. This left her with a mix of emotions—gratitude for the time spent in the Veela Reservoir and a sense of excitement for the adventures that lay ahead.

The day before her eleventh birthday, Victoire bid a fond farewell to the Veela tribe. She hugged her grandmother tightly, the love between them a bond that transcended time and distance. The Veelas gave her many gifts that included some odd trinkets, books, and an owl.

With a heart full of love and memories, Victoire left the Veela Reservoir and the magical world she had come to cherish. The Veela tribe watched her go, their love and blessings accompanying her on the next chapter of her extraordinary life. However, one of them did spook the thestrals into running faster and faster causing her ride home to be a bumpy one. Her mother did not follow her back, she had to attend the annual convention held every New Year's Eve.

She finally managed to get comfortable in the carriage and started to make a list of all the presents she had received from the Veelas.

These, of course, didn't count the almost endless number of sweets that the rest of the tribe gifted her. And the fact that Lyriel kissed her cheeks as an additional farewell gift along with the book on brewing alcohol.

Oh, the elders of the Veela tribe weren't like the ones in some yin-yang sect, oh no, they were simply former tribe matriarchs who merged with Victoire's Grandmother's tribe.

There were a total of five tribes that had lived together in the reservoir, the Brillames tribe led by Thalia, the Véspérins tribe led by Ophelia, the Sylphides tribe led by Elara, the Lucéennes tribe led by Eudora, and the Séraphines led by Victoire's Grandmother, Aveline De Charmebrise.

She sighed at the complexity of all this Veela politics. One may think that the politics of the Veela tribes were simple as five tribes living together but in truth, it was much more complex than that. Only pure-blooded, aristocratic Veelas can compete for the matriarch's position, and only the most powerful Veela can win the competition. Yep, she had seen her grandmother through the system.

[Aveline De Charmebrise: Matriarch of the Veelas: Level 94: Pinnacle Stage Core]

Yep, the maximum level she knew from the system. Her grandmum was a freakin' monster in the mana department, she was famous as well. Aveline De Charmebrise was known to have fought Grindelwald head-on, she specialized in fire magic and therefore was the perfect counter for his 'Protego Diabolica' although, Dumbledore's arrival had hindered their duel. Also, she was nearly 300 years old.

Veelas were unaging after all, which meant that they didn't age, or didn't experience the typical aging process, and were not subject to natural death due to old age or the passage of time. However, they could still be killed by external means, such as accidents, injuries, or intentional harm.

Their bloodline essentially implies immunity to the effects of aging but not to mortality caused by external factors. And since Victoire was half-Veela, she was still somewhat unaging, roughly around the not growing old and long life-span perk.

Her grandmother had also gifted her a Eurasian eagle owl or simply 'Emily'. A giant owl weighing almost five pounds, her talons were a ferocious shade of brown, and her beak a deathly black pike. Victoire had spent a considerable amount of time taming Emily and her family at the reservoir.

Oh yes, a family of almost one hundred giant owls who only listened to the Elders or those with considerable charming skills. Victoire however, had earned the right to enter their palace of a tree when she had saved a hatchling who was most certainly considered dead. Can't say that her level-up rewards didn't weren't handy.

As the carriage rattled on, Victoire thought of something and opened her skill panel.
