Many months has passed by since then, and when I almost turned 4, things got a little bit busy after that first meeting between Moloch-san and the others. 

His magic tools company has already sent some working prototypes of the magic stove to the mansion's kitchen room that they have made.

At first, the chefs and other staff within the mansion were quite perplexed about the magic stove that were delivered to the estate, though they got a hang of using it after a few days. 

The cold storage box as well, or what I called "the refrigerator" has also been finished too and was delivered to us just yesterday.

Since there have already been enough kitchenware to fill up two cabinets inside the grand kitchen, it's no easy surprise as to where I'm going with this...

After lunchtime has ended, I was about to go to my self-study sessions back in my room when I sneaked out from Auntie Clara's view and moved towards the kitchen to see only Chef Lois inside the room while eating his dish on his own.

"Uncle Lois~!!" I said enthusiastically. 

"Ah, if it isn't Emi-chan... What can I do for you?" He replied with a fawning look at his face.

Contrary to popular belief, a bearded guy in his late 20s with a body build akin to that of a Swordmaster would not be eating his homemade dish inside the staff room's kitchen. 

But I was sorely mistaken when I met this uncle in the past. This bearded uncle can cook quite a delicious meal that even I can vouch! 

"Uncle Lois, I want to cook~!" I sat beside him on a small stool and said this to him. 

"Y-Yes?"

Shocked by what I said, Uncle Lois asked a question again which I answered...

"I want to cook, Uncle Lois~! I want to ea—cook something for Mama!" Oops, I almost slipped my true intention.

"I-Is that so, but a nearly 4-year-old kid who can't even reach the top of a kitchen table would like to cook? That's quite a stretch for you, isn't it?" Uncle Lois doubted my determination. 

Which is why I have I'll be doing that in this way! 

"That's why you'll be following my instructions when cooking the dishes, Uncle Lois!" I said enthusiastically. 

“Following? Have you read any recipes?“ He asked me a question that I was waiting for him to ask! 

Fufufu~! I'm actually a decent cook myself since my adoptive parents in my past life have taught me on how to use the kitchen and cook for myself.

With the help of the trusted Internet for getting recipes, I became quite a foodie myself as I cook my own meals when I'm at the dorm.

And so... 

“It's really simple, Uncle Lois. Have you done any sauces?“ I asked him a question. After all, the easiest thing to cook would be making sauces. 

“Y-Yeah... I did some sauces on my own, they're quite easy to make. But why do you ask?“ Uncle Lois pondered as he then asked me a question. Now, it's my time to shine... 

"Then, we're going to make mayonnaise~!"

Yes. I often used mayonnaise along with other kinds of meat for spreadings like chicken meat, or even tuna meat for added texture. Though mayonnaise itself can be added towards anything that's in need of sourness to a dish. 

"Mayonaisu? What's that, Emi-chan?" He asked in a curious tone.

"Well, it's a white sauce that has a mild and clean flavor while sour enough to not be overly sour or smell acidic in itself. 

It can be used with a lot of dishes that are being made for the main household like steak, vegetable salads and for bread." 

I answered him as I described its taste to Uncle Lois, who has also imagined it as well. 

"I see... Have you read that in a recipe book, or something?" He asked, still doubting the authenticity of my explanation.

Well... No one would really believe that it's a sauce from another world but... 

"Not at all, Uncle Lois. Though I've found a similar sauce like it, and just added my own twist to the already-existing one." I said to Uncle Lois nonchalantly. 

"I thought you were doing it on a whim as a child's play, but it seems that you're a lot more knowledgeable compared to your age." After thinking for a few moments, he then smiled and made this reply as he added. 

"Alright, what ingredients do you need to make this mayonaisu Emi-chan?" He asked with an excited look on his face. 

And so, the two of us began making mayonnaise sauce as a whim of my own. Although it's something that I dearly miss, I think that making that sauce would make things a lot livelier for me and for the main household.

This might be the first time in the recorded history that a miracle sauce called "Mayonnaise" has been introduced to the world of Tierra, but I don't really mind about it. But that's another story for another time.

After an hour of making not just the mayonnaise sauce and also Uncle Lois making fried chicken fillet as well, we have finished 3 servings of the fried chicken fillet with mayonnaise sauce.

It was then that Auntie Clara have seen me with a scary expression on her face in the kitchen room when Uncle Lois and I were on our way to serve these dishes to my parents and Auntie Clara. 

Ah... I forgot that I sneaked out of my self-study session. She's going to kill me...

"Emi-chan, what are you doing here...?"

An Oni! I can see an oni behind Auntie Clara!!! She's definitely gonna kill me! 

"Awawawawa...! Uncle Lois!! Mama Clara's scary!!" I hid behind Uncle Lois, who was carrying the three dishes with the server trolley. 

"Why in the world are you sneaking here and going behind your Uncle Lois for protection—huh?" Auntie Clara was going to start her nagging session when a whiff of the chicken fillet with mayonnaise sauce caught onto her nose.

“Uhhh... Lois, what's that thing you're going to serve?" Auntie Clara asked Lois a question.

Oh, wait... That's actually perfect... If Mama Clara were to taste it and she approves of it, then I probably won't go to that self-study session anymore! It's not like I didn't like doing it, but even I need a break too...

"Uhhh... Emi-chan taught me how to make this mayonaisu sauce... The sauce really enhanced the flavor of the chicken fillet here as she said. Would you like a taste since one serving's actually for you, Clara-sama?" Since Uncle Lois is technically the head maid in this mansion, her position is above of Uncle Lois' so he has to be respectful to Auntie Clara. 

"Oh really? I mean... Sure... Let me grab a fork first." Auntie Clara was unsure about it first, but after looking at the dish again, she has no choice but to dig in. 

As she said that, she grabbed a fork from one of the pantry closets inside the kitchen room and then cuts through the chicken fillet that Uncle Lois have made.

"Is that the mayonaisu sauce that Emi-chan told you to make?" She points the fork with the chicken fillet to the sauce bowl that has the mayonnaise in it. 

"Yeah... She said that she has seen a recipe similar to it, and she just made a twist to that. You can dip the chicken fillet in it if you want." Uncle Lois shrugged as Auntie Clara nodded. 

"Is that so...?"

As she said that, she then dips the slice of chicken fillet that Mama Clara has on her fork into the mayonnaise that was on the sauce plate. After that, she's taken the entire slice of it into her mouth with the first reaction that she has is her face having the expression of being shocked.

"Is it not to your liking, Clara-sama...? When the two of us taste-tested it, I became a really good fan of it..." Uncle Lois said nervously. 

I'm also quite nervous about her action, but my foodie instincts don't lie. She's gonna love it. 

"N-No, Lois... The sauce itself is quite remarkable... It's not too creamy but also not too custardy... It has a mild sour flavor that's not too acidic. And since it's a white sauce, it can be used in multiple applications as well for a cleanly-made dish..." I sighed in relief as I'm glad that Mama Clara really likes the mayonnaise as I said...

"I helped too, Mama~!" I interjected as I tried to act like a kid. 

"Emi-chan, I'm not done with you sneaking out for now...."

"Hyihhh?!?!?!“ Auntie Clara turned around to me and she still has an Oni behind her!!! 

"Though, Lois... Can you serve the remaining two servings to Sir Edmund and her Royal Highness Diana? I'll talk with Emi-chan for a little bit." Auntie Clara talked to Uncle Lois, which he then nodded and obliged to Auntie Clara's orders. 

"Yes, Clara-sama."

After Uncle Lois left, Auntie Clara and I sat at the table with her helping me sit on that high seat with her serving of the chicken fillet and starting eating it.

"Mama... Are you angry...?" I asked with a meek voice. 

"Yes, I am. You've disregarded your self-studying sessions." She said, as she then cut a piece of the chicken fillet, pierced it with a fork, dipped it with the mayonnaise sauce, and asked me. 

"Do you want it?" Auntie Clara asked as she's pertaining to the chicken fillet slice. 

When I nodded silently, she smiled as she let me took a bite with that chicken fillet. After that, I said to her. 

"B-But... I'm bored with studying nowadays, Mama..." I said after sighing.

"If that's the case, then there's no problem to skip it for today if you just said so..." Auntie Clara chuckles lightly as she took a bite of her own. 

'Eh?'

I guess it was really a mistake for me to think that I need to earnestly self-study like I usually do in my past life.

"But... Even though I might have forgiven you for making that sauce, I would still need to lightly punish you for sneaking out. Alright...?" She added in an amicable tone as she drank the contents of the translucent glass cup that we have readied earlier. 

"Y-Yes, Mama..."

As I said that while I looked down to the ground, Mama Clara immediately patted my small head and responded after taking a small bite of the mayonnaise-dipped chicken fillet...

"Don't worry about it, Emi-chan... 

I know that you're a genius when it comes with creating these things, so you don't even bother to study more." She said before chuckling. After that, she then added. 

"And since you've made such a wonderful sauce this time, I think that this is the right time for you to become like Mama..." Auntie Clara said in a quite cryptic way that I didn't even know what she meant like that.

"Like... Mama...?" I asked curiously. 

"Yes, like Mama...!" She smiled at me while saying that... Is she saying that she can finally teach me magic?!

It's the next day now, and boy... have I expected myself really high for me to be disappointed like this... Why you may ask...?

Why am I wearing a tailored small maid outfit?!

"Emi-chan... Sir Edmund and Her Royal Highness Diana have approved my decision of making you Clarence's personal attendant when he turns five.

So as early as possible, I'll be training you on the ways of serving Young Master Clarence." 

Auntie Clara... Papa Edmund... Mama Diana... Are you seriously going to make me my little brother, Clarence's babysitter?!
