After Alice took out the trash blocking her path, she soon found herself in the middle of the street with all kinds of commercial type buildings on each side. Donut shops, fast food restaurants, retail stores, cafes, etc.

"There's gotta be something yummy around here." Alice reasoned to herself and went over to the closest building. Maria's Bakery.

"Ooh! I love this place!" Happily walking inside, she first noticed the familiar homey atmosphere that smelled of freshly baked goods. Unlike outside, there was no blood or the awful stench of rotting meat.

"Seems like some things never change." With a smile, she took a look around.

Across the walls and some of the tables were pictures of a joyful chubby middle-aged woman. Sometimes she was with small children who had happy smiles and chocolate on their cheeks, or photos of her and her favorite customers. But it was never just her alone.

"I hope Maria's okay." Alice said with a worried look as she picked up the photo containing her and Lily. They had gotten this picture taken a few years prior.

She remembered how kind Maria was to them. Sometimes she even gave them free pastries when they were struggling financially.

Walking around the place, Alice wasn't surprised to find all the food was beyond expired. Knowing she wouldn't find anything around here, she went to the back to find something of value. But instead, came across a weird scene.

In the kitchen, right in front of a countertop, was that same woman in all those photos. Her hands were currently in the motion of kneading dough. But... there was nothing there.

Maria's blood covered face turned towards Alice. There was a flash of recognition in her eyes, before it disappeared and turned into a blank look devoid of any emotion. She then returned to her slow kneading action.

"Oh no... Maria..." Alice sighed sadly and came behind her.

'I can't leave her like this. Knowing her, she'd probably thank me.'

Within a split second, her right hand became clawed and she stabbed it into Maria's brain. She caught her body with her arms and gently laid her down.

"It wasn't you anymore, I know it. Thank you Maria. For everything." Wiping a few tears away from her eyes, she took one last look at the woman who was practically her real mother some days.

Wanting to move on and not think about it anymore, she started ransaking the rest of the place. Once finished, all she managed to find was some edible fruit cake and dark chocolate.

"Mm! Still as good as before!" Alice ate half of the cake, but reluctantly put the rest away in her bag after wrapping it up. She would save this Jason.

Done here, she left Maria's Bakery and started speedrunning through the other stores.

She wasn't able to find much apart from the dozens of common infected. But at least it wasn't all bad. Walking out of a fast food restaurant called The Chum Bucket, she had a bright smile on her face looking at the yellow condiment in her hand.

"Can't believe I found mustard! Awesome!" Although she doesn't think it's the best sauce, she believes it easily ranks in the top five. Maybe even top three some days.

Not only did she get that, but she also found rice, bottled water, canned beans, and... mystery meat. With some of the MREs still saved up, she already had a good breakfast planned for Jason.

However, she also managed to get her hands on some bags of candy like the superior Milk Chocolate, sour patch kids, a bunch of lollipops, and gummy bears.

Popping one of the lollipops into her mouth, Alice continued on down the road for a little bit while humming a little tune. She was pretty much good to go, but wanted to check if there was anything else worthwhile. Just as she was about to head back, she saw it.

"I know damn well he'll love those!" Alice happily said and ran up to the truck that had crashed into a salon. And the name on the side of that truck was... Hostess Cake!

Ripping the locked door off, Alice was bedazzled by the sheer amount of sno balls inside.

"You know, I think I remember seeing this in a movie once." But unlike a certain twinkie addict, she was extremely lucky and found three dozen of the delicious little cakes.

With a smile on her face, as she had a good feeling Jason would be happy because of this, she began stuffing both twinkie goodness and sno ball delights into her bag. Just as she finished filling up her bag to it's peak, she heard something.

"I... am not... ugly!" A banshee like voice made her cringe as it grated her ears. Turning around, all she could see was a mountain of fatty skin take up her entire view of the outside world.

Then, a hand gripped the top of the truck and the monster bent down. Seeing the face in front of her, Alice looked disgusted.

Green drool fell out of the fat lady's mouth and landed on the road. Even from where she was, Alice could ear it sizzling as it melted away.

"Oh shit!"

Alice hastily dodged as the fat lady spit a massive glob of green and yellow acid right at her direction. It immediately disintegrated a large portion of the sno balls and went through the glass at the front of the truck. It kept going and going through the salon, dissolving anything it came across.

'Holy hell! It's a lot better than mine!'

Knowing she couldn't go out the way she came, she instead went to the driver's seat and kicked the door. As it couldn't handle her power, it broke open and allowed her to escape.

When she made some distance between her and the truck, she turned around and saw the fat lady in her full... beauty.

She was extremely fat. So much so that even her rolls had rolls. On top of her skin were these awful looking boils that would sometimes ooze out green and yellow goo, making Alice's face scrunch up. She almost threw up, but managed to hold it in.

The top of her head had barely any hair at all, and the remaining amount wasn't well maintained. There was heavy makeup all over her face that somehow made her appear even worse. When she opened her mouth to speak, Alice could see the yellow, black, and cracked teeth inside.

"Not... ugly!" Tears rolled down her face as she stared angrily at the stunning Alice, making her even uglier. The beauty that she possessed made the fat lady's massive saggy breasts heave up and down in rage.

Seeing the meaty legs carry the fat lady as fast as possible towards herself, Alice did the only thing right in this scenario. Turn around and high tail it out of there.

Alice didn't see any point in tangling with a new unknown special infected. Especially one that could speak.

While running as fast as she could, she looked behind her and saw the fat lady actually moving pretty quickly. Thankfully, she was much slower then herself.

Even though Alice had lost her after a few minutes, she still took many detours away from the apartment. She didn't want to lure the fat thing back to Jason. It wasn't that she had a lack of faith in his abilities or anything like that. But she wanted to let him have some rest from fighting.

Seeing the apartment building in view, Alice sighed in relief and stretched as she walked along the road. During her adventures, she met a good few special infected who tried eating her. Luckily, the Hunter from last night gave her enough speed and mobility to outrun the majority of them.

For the ones she couldn't outrun, she was able to lead them to another special infected and they began fighting one another. Which then allowed her to escape unharmed. Nonetheless, a chill went down her spine recalling all of them.

She had thought special infected were extremely rare, but that wasn't the case. During her twenty minute run of luring the fat lady away, she had easily met over forty special infected. Some of which she had never seen before.

As she walked back home, she decided to leave the naming of the fat lady up to Jason. Suddenly, she snorted.

"Though, knowing him, he'll probably call it Acid Spitter. Maybe he'll say 'Such a generic name but so fitting.' Haha!" Alice mocked Jason's tone of voice with a chuckle.

She stepped into the lobby and headed up the stairs after pushing the barricade aside. After checking on a sleeping Jason with a peek into his room, she grabbed a cast iron pan, an egg type MRE, a pot for the rice, a lid for said pot, a wooden spatula, can opener, seasonings, and two plates.

"Am I stealing?" She thought about it before shaking her head and exiting his apartment.

"Course not. Everything he owns is mine! And vice versa!" Alice went down the stairs and out into the street once more.

Setting a bunch of paper and wood from furniture down, she took a match and lit it on fire. Once she waited for a few minutes, she placed the pot onto a flat piece of wood and poured the rice inside along with the water.

Every so often she would lift the lid and stir the rice inside with the wooden spatula. Once it was done, black armor appeared on her hands. Grabbing the ends of the pot, she winced a little and moved it off the fire. Placing it down off to the side, she blew onto her palms. It definitely hurt a bit, but the pain wasn't too bad.

Next, she took the canned beans and opened them up. She drained some of the liquid out into the street but kept the rest of it. Then, she poured it all into the cast iron pan and held it over the flame. After some minutes of cooking, she added the seasoning.

"Salt, pepper, blah blah blah." Alice said with a bored tone as she added all her seasonings. She knew the food wouldn't be that great, but she didn't have much to work with.

After the beans were cooked and ready to go, she quickly heated up the eggs from the MRE. Once everything was ready, she plated them up and brought them with her to Jason. On the way, she was a little nervous about her cooking and hoped he would like it.

"Stop being such a wuss! Come on!" She shook her head and stepped into his apartment with both steamy plates in her hand.

Alice brought the two plates into the living room and placed them on the table in front of the couch. Walking into the kitchen, she put the bag full of candy, sno balls, and twinkies on a countertop. But she removed the mystery meat and held it in her hand.

She tip toed over to Jason's room and saw he was still asleep. Though, Killgore was awake.

The hound stopped licking her paws and turned her head towards Alice who walked inside. She was a little confused, but thought nothing of it and returned to her paw licking.

That was until a random piece of meat fell from the heavens and landed right in front of her. With a stunned expression, she looked up and saw Alice pat her on the head.

"I brought you some breakfast. Though, it is from some common infected. So it might not taste too great." Alice whispered out while scratching behind Killgore's ears, once again touching that forbidden sweet spot.

Killgore felt warmth burst from her heart and spread throughout her body. Her meatbag's new mate was suddenly very pleasing to the eye.

As the great big hound dug into her meat, Alice sat at Jason's bedside and gently moved his hair out of his eyes. With a loving smile on her face, she gently shook Jason.

"Jason?" She called out a few times, her voice always extremely soft and light.

Soon, his eyes opened slowly. When Jason saw Alice's face, he couldn't help but let a smile take over his face.

"I must've died and gone to Heaven, since a beautiful Goddess is waking me up." Alice giggled and leaned down to take his lips.

After a few seconds, they parted.

"I have a surprise for you. Here, take my hand." Jason, although confused, complied with her wishes and allowed himself to be pulled out of bed. But then Alice looked him up and down.

"Do you want some clothes first?" As she said this, her hand traveled over his muscles. She traced over his scars and bit her lips slightly.

"Nope. Got nothing to hide from you anymore. Besides, what's the point in having these babies if I don't show them?" He brought his bicep up and flexed it. Alice chuckled and agreed with him.

"I guess you're right. Okay then, close your eyes and follow me. And no peeking! Or I'll chop your dick off!" Taking a page out of Lily's book, Alice grabbed a hold of his cock and squeezed it roughly.

Despite the joking threat, Jason couldn't help but feel some arousal pulse through him. He closed his eyes and chuckled, saluting her like a general.

"Ma'am yes ma'am! Corporal Badass at your service." With that, Alice released her sausage hostage and took his hand instead.

She lead him out of the bedroom and into the living room.

"Come on! A little further! Watch your step!" Jason couldn't see anything, but he could smell the food in the air. Knowing what was coming, he couldn't help but grin like a fool.

Alice led him to the couch and gently shoved him, making him fall down on top of it. She was about to sit down herself, until she cursed under her breath.

"Don't look yet!" Saying that, she ran to the kitchen and grabbed some forks before running back. Taking her seat next to Jason, she breathed out.

"Okay! Now you can open them." Jason opened his eyes and saw the scrumptious meal in front of him. A plate of scrambled eggs, beans, and rice were placed next to each other neatly. They took up a third of the plate, like each one was a separate country with borders.

"Ta-daaaa!" She opened up her hands and shook them.

"So? Do you like your surprise?" Although she had a confident look, she was secretly worried underneath.

But that worry was extinguished very quickly when Jason took her head and kissed her lips.

"Thank you Alice. I love it." They looked at each other in the eyes before smiling and taking their forks.

Chewing the first bite, Jason was surprised at it's quality. It was much higher than he was expecting. He never would have guessed he'd have a meal like this again in the apocalypse.

"How is it?" Alice asked while eating another mouthful of food.

"Delicious! Haven't had something this good in years." He didn't know why, but it tasted much better then anything else he's eaten.

"But of course~" She bat her eyelashes jokingly at him.

"I made it with love~" Suddenly, Jason chuckled while looking down at his plate.

"What?" Alice asked, confused at his sudden change.

Jason played with his food a little. He grabbed two pieces of rice and put them next to each other.

"It's almost like we're married." Alice quieted down and absent-mindedly looked at her own plate, picking at the food.

"Would you?" She asked lightly. So light Jason barely picked it up.

"Yes. Yes I would." They both smiled and continued eating. The grin on Alice's face threatened to tear her lips off.

Finally, after a few minutes, Jason leaned back and patted his stomach.

"That was fucking delicious. Thanks for the food Alice." The chef herself smiled and got up, taking both plates with her. Seeing him also begin to stand, she stopped him by placing a foot onto his chest.

"No no no. You stay there and wait. I have one more surprise for you." As she walked away to the kitchen, Jason followed her with his eyes.

'I must have used up the luck of all my ancestors to get her.' His eyes couldn't help themselves but look downwards.

'Really lucky indeed!' He grinned while looking at her luscious ass, but froze when seeing Alice's head turn around.

"Told you. Woman can sense it." Getting caught, Jason simply shrugged nonchalantly.

"Can you blame me?" Alice giggled and flipped her hair.

"Nope! Can't blame someone for looking at perfection after all!" Her sarcastic narcissistic tone made him chuckle.

She dumped the plates and forks into the sink. Grabbing the bag, she walked back over to Jason and placed it in front of him before taking her seat again.

"Go ahead. Open it." She placed her elbows on her knees and her fists on her chin, awaiting his reaction with a grin.

Jason eyed her suspiciously and opened the bag. Looking within, his eyes widened to cartoon proportions as they sparkled. His face morphed into a joyful, child-like smile when looking at all the candy and other treats.

Turning to Alice, he tackled her into the couch making her yelp in surprise. Jason planted smooches on every corner of her face and neck, making her ticklish and giggle in happiness.

"You are fucking amazing!" He said while getting off her. From childhood to now, candy had always been a pleasure food to him. Always keeping the negative thoughts and bad memories away.

Alice sat up and watched his hands disappear into the bag.

"I know. I am pretty awesome."

"Where did you even get all this stuff?!"

Then, Alice told her about her little adventure out in the world. Jason wanted to reprimand her for going out alone, but he soon shook his head.

'She's not some helpless child that needs their hand held for everything. I should trust her more.'

"Good work with those pieces of garbage! Fucking trash!" Fire seemed to pour out of his eyes when she mentioned the four men who stopped her. He soon shook his head like a teacher correcting a student.

"Your punishment wasn't bad. But, it was a bit too merciful. Don't worry! I'll teach you how to really make one beg for death!" The smile on his face made a chill go down Alice's spine. At the same time, she found it alluring.

"As for the fat lady? Let's name her... Acid Spitter! I know, I know. Such a generic name, but so fitting!" Alice snorted and laughed to herself, making him look at her in confusion.

"What?" Jason couldn't help himself but laugh along with her. It was contagious.

"Nothing nothing. It's not important." Alice shook her head and continued giggling to herself.

"Hm. Well, alright then." Jason then began thinking about the Acid Spitter and the fact it could talk.

'Must be because she ate a Mimic and gained the ability. That, or it just naturally came to her. Maybe through the process of simply growing stronger? Regardless of how she obtained it, what's clear is that just as I'm growing stronger, so are they. I'm such an idiot.'

He opened up a twinkie wrapper and bit into the delicious cake angrily, a frown appearing on his face.

Noticing this, Alice put a hand on his naked thigh

"What's wrong?" Jason sighed. He made a fist and looked at it.

"I've been too complacent. I've been given a gift that could make me a God amongst men, and yet I don't use it. I should be out there looking for more special infected to consume. So that something like last night can never happen again." Alice nodded her head. She could understand where he was coming from.

"Instead I've been wasting my time like a damn fool." A firm look of determination appeared in his eyes.

"I have to be more active. To be better." Watching a black vein travel through his arm, he smiled and downed the rest of the twinkie. Tossing the wrapper aside, he dug back into the bag. But then. He found something absolutely horrid.

"Ugh! What... is this doing here?" He asked while pulling out the bottle of mustard. There was a look of disgust on his face as he almost gagged.

"What do you mean 'Ugh!'? It's mustard." Alice answered him with a frown. She didn't like his reaction.

"Yeah, I can see that. So I say again, what is it doing here?"

"Because it's delicious?" Alice raised an eyebrow as he suddenly burst out laughing.

"This? Delicious?" He wiggled the mustard in his hand.

"Mustard is fucking disgusting trash! It tastes like cat piss mixed in with a little bit of horseshit and seasoned with ball sweat!"

"Excuse you?! Mustard is amazing!" She looked at him angrily and snatched the bottle from his hand, cradling it like it was her new born baby. Jason looked at her from the corner of his eye, like he was above her.

"Never knew you had this side to you. Mustard. Hah!" He shook his head, an aura of disappointment around him.

"It's your fault for being too blind to see it's glory. Maybe if your taste buds were a little more refined, you could actually enjoy something of quality for once in your life." Jason glared at her and stood up from the couch.

"What in the fuck are you smoking?! It's clearly inferior to other sauces! Even the Devil wouldn't touch that garbage with a ten foot pole!"

Not backing down, Alice placed the bottle of mustard on the table and stood up. She came in front of him and put both hands on her hips. Her beautiful emerald eyes stared up at his brown ones fearlessly.

"How dare you look down on mustard! And you know what?! Let me tell you something else! I love pineapple on pizza!" She smiled victoriously as his face changed to one of horror.

'Ah! I love that look! Get fucked Jason!'

After Joey's Pizza, the two of them talked in length about their favorite and least favorite toppings. At first, she didn't want to come out of the closet about her pineapple love because of how much he despised it. Who knew it would turn into such a powerful weapon?

"Oh my fucking christ! You heathen! Barbaric witch! To actually speak such treacherous words in my presence?! That's it you son of a bit-!" And thus, the great arguing war began.

Insults were thrown both ways as they cursed at each other, holding nothing back. Soon, Jason grabbed her shoulders roughly. His angry face gaining a sadistic smile.

"Didn't I say yesterday I would train you? Let's begin with step one. Showing you your place!" His threatening tone did nothing to dimish Alice's unwavering will. She stared dead into his eyes and barked out.

"Give it your best shot you big bastard! Think I'm scared of you?!" A heroic aura erupted around her, shocking Jason a little. But he simply flashed a cruel smile.

"Let's get started then. Hehe." His dark chuckle made Alice waver for a split second. Maybe... she bit off more than she can chew.
