Before we commenced my training, Uther paused, his expression turning reflective. "Before we begin, it's important for you to understand the history of our order. Let me tell you how I became a Paladin," he said, his voice resonating with the weight of memories. "It all started when the kingdom of Stormwind was attacked."
"The land of Stormwind was once an emblem of peace and prosperity, a realm where tranquility reigned supreme. However, this era of peace was shattered when orcs, fierce and war-hungry creatures, poured into Azeroth from the Dark Portal. This mystical gateway connected our world to Draenor, the orcish homeworld. The onslaught they brought upon Stormwind marked the beginning of what would be known as the First War."
"The clerics of Northshire Abbey, devout in their faith, rose to defend their homeland against the orcish tide. But soon, the harsh reality dawned upon us; the orcs were a formidable foe, and our spiritual strength alone was not enough. The clerics, despite their unwavering faith, suffered devastating losses. They were spiritual leaders, not warriors, and their lack of martial prowess became our Achilles' heel."
"Amidst this turmoil, Archbishop Alonsus Faol, a visionary and a man of profound wisdom, saw the need for a new kind of warrior. He envisioned a fusion of divine power and martial might, a blend of the Light's sacred magic with the art of war. He sought to create an order that would embody both the nurturing essence of the clerics and the formidable strength of knights."
"Faol chose me, his apprentice, to be the first of this new order. Under his guidance, I trained relentlessly, honing my skills in combat while deepening my connection with the Light. This rigorous training gave birth to the first of the Paladins, holy knights who wielded both sword and spell in defense of the innocent."
"With Archbishop Faol's blessing, I was appointed as the First Paladin. Our new order, the Paladins, stood as a beacon of hope amidst the chaos of war. We were more than just warriors; we were protectors, healers, and champions of the Light."
Uther's story was a tapestry of history and heroism, painting a vivid picture of the genesis of the Paladin order. It was a tale of transformation, of adapting to the dire needs of the time, and the birth of a new hope in the face of despair.
As Uther's tale came to a close, a surge of inspiration coursed through me. The history of the Paladins wasn't just a relic of the past; it was a living legacy, one I was about to step into. But my aspirations extended beyond the path of a Paladin. The idea of also mastering the arcane as a mage lingered in my mind, a unique fusion of paths that I yearned to explore. "Could I perhaps transform the Paladin class, blending it with the mystical arts of a mage?" I pondered, a question that echoed with possibilities for the future.
Uther, reading the determination in my eyes, spoke, "Before you can walk the path of a Paladin, you must first train as a warrior." The day's training was about to begin, a crucial step in my journey to becoming a Paladin.
We started with running exercises. My long legs carried me swiftly across the training field, each stride pushing my physical limits. Uther, observing from the sidelines, offered guidance on my form, stressing the importance of efficiency in every movement. The ground beneath me became a blur as I pushed myself harder, feeling the burn in my muscles with each sprint.
Next, we transitioned to bodyweight exercises. Push-ups, sit-ups, and squats tested my endurance and strength. Despite my height and physical development, these exercises challenged me, but I welcomed the challenge. Each push-up made my arms tremble, each squat pushed my legs to their limit, but I persevered, driven by my ambition.
Uther didn’t just focus on physical training; he wove in lessons on mental discipline, focus, and the resilience of a Paladin's spirit. "The strength of a Paladin is measured not just by their arm but by the resolve in their heart and mind," he would say.
As the day wore on, I could feel my body adapting, growing stronger and more agile. This wasn't just physical growth; I was being molded into a warrior, a foundation upon which the Paladin's strength would be built.
In between the rigorous exercises, Uther shared tales of Paladins who exemplified courage and righteousness. These stories weren't mere pastimes; they were lessons in the virtues and responsibilities of the path I was choosing.
Exhausted yet exhilarated, I reflected on the day’s training as the sun set. The path of a Paladin, demanding and noble, was laid out before me. Yet, in my heart, the desire to merge this path with the arcane wisdom of a mage remained a burning ambition. For now, I focused on the present, on each step of this journey, knowing that each day brought me closer to forging my unique destiny.
Why must you learn blacksmithing n alchemy? He is a prince, he can get the best armors n weapons n potions made with a simple order, why must he become jack of all trade? So ineficient...Waste of points, survival is the most important so he should use points for combat n magic related knowledge, n if science is related to magic then in theory, using points to learn magic will give you knowledge in science as well...you can learn alchemy n other skills AFTER you are sure that you can defend yourself...n this guy is reincarnated yet his mind is like a kid, acting like a kid to avoid sus. is understandable but thinking like a kid despite his mental age is simply stupid
First of all, he's reincarnated but still has the body and brain of a child. Additionally, I'm fond of alchemy and blacksmithing, and he's only about 10 years old. He's just beginning his paladin training and hasn't become a mage yet. He can read all the books about magic, but it's not time for him to learn magic. He can also gain more points by absorbing things that I haven't introduced yet. And this is only chapter 7; why do you have so many complaints?"
@DraculaSwift to put it simply, because im a min-max gamer n your mc is stupid n ineficient n got his priority wrong if he wants to survive WOW...from the existing chapters it is implied that having a skill such as math will give him knowledge on how to apply math to magic meaning maxing combat n magic n light related skills will give him plenty other knowledge such as math from the "magic" skills, why? Because those skills are combination of several knowledge n you get all those knowledge for a single price! You implied that in earlier chapter...if you still dont understand, imagine rocket engine, you need various knowledge to create rocket engine...if you use points to learn each of those knowledge separately you will need a lot of points...but if you simply use 100 points to learn "how to make rocket engine" you will get everything for a single price! Why would you spent 100 on how to boil water n another 100 on how to boil tea leaves if you can get both by spending ONLY 100 on "how to make a glass of tea"
He's a 10-year-old who has just started learning how to become a paladin and he is not a mage yet. If you're looking for an overpowered character in the first few chapters, what's the point of me writing a story about an overpowered main character? I'm not among those who admire a main character that is overpowered as a child and walks around arrogantly. Your points are irrelevant when he's only a child. Next, you might ask why he doesn't have a harem at the age of 10 as well. Also, you know that he is a prince with many knights to keep him and the kingdom safe, like Uther. All the 'World of Warcraft' events don't just happen in a few years; they occur over hundreds of years. The Lich King event happens when he is 31 years old, which is another 21 years from now. He is a 10-year-old. If you can't understand that, please go and read all those Chinese novels where there is an overpowered main character for absolutely no reason.
@DraculaSwift are you stupid? Are you idiot? Are you blind?
When did i complain the mc not op? Go back and read again my posts you fool! I am not complaining about mc not being op, i am complaining about mc being stupid, wasteful, and ineficient! Being op is merely a consequent of being smart and eficient you ret*rd author!
I have used so many words in my comments to explain that to you because i knew you're stupid, but to think that you still fail to understand, to think that you instead thought that i was complaining about mc not being op...OMG you truly stupid author
If you have to choose between
A)100 points for 1kg vegies, 100 points for 1kg rice, 100 points for 1kg meat, 100 points for spices n others, and you still need to spend energy and time to cook
OR
B)100 points for a simple ready-to-eat nutrition bar that contain all the required nutrition, and you can save plenty of points and time
Which of those two do you choose? No dont answer because i know you are stupid like the mc so you will choose option A and waste a lot of points and time!
There will be powerful enemies such as N'zoth and it would be better if arthas let dedicated npc blacksmith and achemist and others to create items such as Void Focus! Arthas should simply focus to improve his combat, magic, and light skills so that he can solo those powerful enemies because npc combatants are unreliable! Look at banshee queen betraying her allies!
But nooooo! You stupid author think it is wise to waste time and points to learn math(which you implied can be learnt for free if you use points to learn magic!), blacksmithing, and alchemy! Look at sylvan-ass! She trained for hundreds maybe thousand of years and she still fell before death knight arthas! Death knight arthas is definitely not strong compared to other enemies, yet thousand of years of training still not enough!
So if arthas wants to survive the late game, he needs every single points and every single second he can spare to improve his combat, magic, and light related skills instead of learning math and blacksmithing and alchemy! What? He still has 21 years left? f*ck 21 years! Not enough! The undead plague starts when he is 24 btw not 31
@Domon He's 10 years old, do you understand? Or do you not understand English? He has a mother who is a high-ranking alchemist. He's learning to be a paladin and hasn't learned to be a mage yet. Blacksmithing is free, and he gets stat points from learning both alchemy and blacksmithing.
And he can gain more points later on in the story, so stop complaining. Also, I want my character to learn things for himself. He can go to a blacksmith and an alchemist and have them make things for him, but what about when he goes to another world? Have you thought of that? I do not want my character to be dependent
you asked whether I would pick Option A or B. I would pick Option A because I will have knowledge on how to use it later on when there is no Option B
You said you're a min-max gamer; how can you not understand getting free stats from learning alchemy and blacksmithing? Or are your brains dead from all those Chinese novel? If you don't like my novel, please do not read it.
@DraculaSwift oh so you are saying that he can use points to learn f*ckING MATH when he is still in womb but he cannot use points to learn combat related skills before he is all grown up? BULLSHIT!
So you are saying that he should spend time and points NOW to learn blacksmithing and alchemy to prepare for another world that WHO KNOWS WHEN HE WILL GO TO despite him going to face powerful enemies that even thousand years of training is not enough to guarantee his survival? N those enemies will come in what? Less than 24 years?
Yeah great idea! Learn things that are not urgent instead of things that you urgently need to survive the next 24 years or so before you can go to another world! BULLSHIT!
It wont be too late to learn lifeskills AFTER he manage to survive Wow! But noooo the inefficient mc and author dont think so! Do you even know how to prioritize properly? Do you even know the meaning of the word EFFICIENT?
And stop talking about little stat bonus from non-combat skills...everyone knows that is not the most efficient way to gain stats...people only start to use that method AFTER other methods are exhausted
@Domon There's no point in me replying to you anymore. You did not even read what I said, and people will think you're stupid. Let me say this one more time: It is a waste of time for a 10-year-old to be too good in combat. And math is always good in every world, more so in a magical world. As I've said over and over again, he can get points later on in the story. Can you read? If you can, can you understand what I just wrote here, or are your brain cells dead?"
@DraculaSwift you are the fool here idiot
Even the long lived elves can be defeated by relatively weak death knight arthas and you are saying there is no point for arthas to prepare as early as possible to face even more powerful foes that will come in the next 24 years or so? Are you saying that arthas can learn more in 24 years than what the elves can learn in 1000 years? How arrogant!
And again with the math! Are you really that stupid? YOU IMPLIED THAT LEARNING ONE SKILL WILL AUTOMATICALLY GIVE YOU KNOWLEDGE ABOUT OTHER RELATED SKILLS! SINCE MATH IS RELATED TO MAGIC! THAT MEANS LEARNING MAGIC USING POINTS WILL AUTOMATICALLY GIVE YOU MATH SKILL! 2 SKILLS FOR ONE PRICE! YOU GET IT?
LIKE, IF YOU LEARN TELEPORT SPELL USING POINTS YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY GET THE MATH! SO WHY LEARNING MATH AND TELEPORT SEPARATELY!?!? f*ckING STUPID AUTHOR!!
Honestly you created the system! Your writting implied what i pointed out about learning magic automatically learning math! Meaning other skills work in similar nature! So there is way to save points by carefully choosing the skills to learn! Skills that will give you bonus knowledge without spending extra points! Including math! And maybe blacksmithing and alchemy as well! So why waste time and points to learn them separately?
Honestly by refuting what i said, by saying that im wrong, you are practically saying that you are stupid and that the story is wrong...after all im merely pointing out the holes in your system and the inefficiency of Mc...yet you said im wrong despite the story you wrote said im right...so are you denying your own story? You dug your own grave
@Domon Wow, you're stupid. Math is not related to magic, and he doesn't know how to use mana yet; he needs a teacher. Are you saying I can learn magic out of thin air? Can you learn how to fly a plane without years of learning, you silly kid? Math is a standalone subject, but by using mathematics with magic, he can do more with magic. Also, you do know he learned math while in the womb, where he had no idea where he was. I never said you will automatically learn something you don't understand. And you know, I'm the one who is writing this story, so stop. I know how my ability works, not you. His ability needs knowledge; if he doesn't have it, he can't learn anything. By the way, the way you spell and write, it seems you don't understand English. Go back and read it again. Sigh, I think you're a troll
@DraculaSwift his ability needs knowledge? He has no knowledge of blacksmithing when he used points to learn blacksmithing you f*cktard...even the skill explanation in your story said that points can be used to learn ANY knowledge!
HERE IS PROOF FROM CHAPTER LIFESKILLS THAT YOU YOURSELF WROTE!
Learning Time: This function allows you to use energy to acquire new knowledge in any desired field.
n yes you never specifically said you will automatically learn related knowledge if you use points to learn a skill but you IMPLIED so! Again, you are merely denying your own story by refuting all this and when people see these comments they will reread earlier chapters n they will realise im right...let me show a proof that your mc stupidity wont be able to attract many readers, open fanfiction dot net n read Lost Lion or other warcraft fics there that has plenty of readers...you will know the diference in quality especially the quality of the mc's brain and that is why despite using WOW as the setting of your story you can only gain a few hearts each chapter
@Domon sigh
@DraculaSwift yes sigh! After all even when he learn blacksmithing in chapter lifeskills, the description of the Learning Time said im the right one...that you can use points to learn ANY knowledge, and you wrote that yourself, so why are you denying this by saying that you need prior knowledge? Why dig your own grave sigh...
@Domon "I was thinking of rewriting this story anyway. I'll write it in a clear way so people like you can't just randomly complain. Sigh.
@DraculaSwift yeah rewrite is better since this mc is so stupid n inefficient
