"You actually want to get beaten to a pulp?"

Silence...

At this moment, everyone found themselves in a state of confusion, unsure of the source of their bewilderment. Should it be Eli Shan's words, which didn't match his innocent smile, or his audacity in speaking to Mu Cheng that way?

Before Mu Cheng could reply, everyone came back to their senses and burst into laughter. "This slim guy, who looks like he hasn't eaten anything for days, wants to fight against Mu Cheng?"

"Brat, do you even know who Mu Cheng is? He is a brother of the student's king. Even if he wasn't the king's brother, you wouldn't be a match for Mu Cheng. Mu Cheng's realm has reached the late stage of the True Qi Realm, let alone his brother, who is a king."

Everyone began to mock Eli Shan, except the girls!

Feng Qiang turned to Eli Shan and looked at him with gentleness in her eyes, making Mu Cheng even more angry, "Eli Shan, let's leave from here, I might be able to hold my own against him, but his realm is still higher than me, after cultivating for a bit, I will definitely take today's revenge."

Eli Shan shook his head, his expression growing more serious. "So, was it him who injured you? Tell me the truth this time."

Before Feng Qiang could respond, Mu Cheng's voice erupted, his frustration boiling over. He grasped Eli Shan's collar with clenched fists, his face twisted with anger as he shouted so loudly that everyone in the market could hear, "Brat, it was her who wanted to fight me even though all I wanted was to make her my queen. And it was a fair match, I just wanted to show her that I am strong enough to protect her from anyone."

Eli Shan, unfazed by Mu Cheng's outburst, pushed his chair back and rose to his full height, locking eyes with Mu Cheng. His innocent smile faded entirely, replaced by a scowl of anger. "I don't know who you are," Eli Shan murmured, his voice filled with intensity and slowly growing loudly, "And honestly, I don't even care about it. But you dared to injure Feng Qiang for your selfish reasons." He seized Mu Cheng's wrist, which was holding his collar, and clenched it tightly, causing Mu Cheng to lose his grip. "Meet me at the fighting stage, right now."

Without waiting for a response, Eli Shan gently held Feng Qiang's hand and led her toward the fighting arena. The crowd watched in silence as a sense of respect for Eli Shan swept over them. But still, they considered him a madman. After all, who in their right mind would dare challenge Mu Cheng? Even if he somehow managed to win, so what? Mu Cheng's brother, the king of the students, was strong enough to annihilate him by just a glance!

As the crowd speculated, Mu Cheng was in a state of shock as he looked at his trembling hand. "He certainly has a strong body," Mu Cheng mused and clenched his fist tightly, "But his strength can't surpass my cultivation." He was already filled with anger ever since he saw Eli Shan sitting with Feng Qiang, but he was controlling it just because it was against the rule to fight anyone outside of the fighting stage. Now that Eli Shan challenged him to fight there, he no longer needed to take him there by force!

There were several fighting stages in the school, and Eli Shan quickly found the nearest one to the market.

He turned to Feng Qiang and smiled at her, "I will take your revenge, don't worry."

Feng Qiang shook her head, her eyes reflecting both gratitude and concern. "I am really happy that you are fighting for me, but Mu Cheng is strong. You don't have to fight against him and you certainly don't need to make enemies with his brother for me."

Eli Shan extended his hand, a grin on his face as his two fingers playfully flicked Feng Qiang's forehead. "Do you think I am weak? Did you forget that, I am many times stronger than you? Hahaha."

This time, Feng Qiang couldn't help but smile gently, a warmth in her eyes. "Yes, you are."

Eli Shan again flicked on her forehead, "Hey hey, are you Feng Qiang? How come you didn't yell at me this time?"

Feng Qiang covered her forehead in pain and shouted, "You... do it once more and I will kill you."

"Hahaha, now that's my Feng Qiang."

"So you really like to get yelled at, huh?"

"Maybe now I am used to it? Hahaha."

While they were playfully teasing each other, Mu Cheng seethed with anger on the fighting stage. He couldn't contain himself any longer and shouted in frustration, "Eli Shan, you bastard, how dare you flirt with my Feng Qiang in front of my eyes, come on the stage and I will make you regret it for your whole life."

Eli Shan turned his head, grinning innocently. "Your dad's on his way."

"You... I am going to kill you today at any cost."

Feng Qiang couldn't help but chuckle, "You are really good at making people angry just by your words."

"Haha, just one of my talent."

With that, Eli Shan leaped onto the fighting stage and stood before Mu Cheng face-to-face.

News of someone challenging Mu Cheng spread like wildfire, drawing a growing crowd of curious onlookers.

"Someone dared to challenge Mu Cheng? He must be out of his mind!"

"Haha you are right, but who is that guy? I don't remember seeing him before."

Someone looked at Eli Shan with curiosity in his eyes and explained, "Just now I heard Mu Cheng calling him Eli Shan, if I am right, then he must be Eli Shan who earned perfect marks at the entrance but later it was found out that he couldn't cultivate his realm."

"Now that you mention it, I don't sense any cultivation realm from him."

At the very front, Feng Qiang heard their conversation and wore a knowing smile. No one understood Eli Shan more better than her. Eli Shan was a monster among monsters! Even if he couldn't win outright, he wouldn't lose easily.

Mu Cheng also heard their conversation with a mixture of curiosity and skepticism. "So you are that legendary Eli Shan who entered the school with perfect scores but cannot even cultivate?"

Eli Shan placed a hand over his heart and bowed, replying, "Yes, that's me."

Mu Cheng sneered, "Why do you look so proud of it?"

Eli Shan chuckled, "Because, I am going to beat you like a dog even though I can't cultivate, you know?"

As Eli Shan spoke, an aura of the True Qi Realm erupted from Mu Cheng, sending shivers through the spectators.

"Even gods cannot save you today from dying!" Mu Cheng's voice grew hoarse as he shouted in anger, throwing a punch towards Eli Shan.

Looking at the incoming punch, Eli Shan's eyes widened as he frowned with a thought, "That's all?"

Just as the punch was about to hit him, Eli Shan suddenly vanished, leaving Mu Cheng's strike to meet nothing but empty air.

Feng Qiang looked at the scene and curled up her lips. "It seems he has already cultivated the wind intent to an impressive extent."

Mu Cheng's brows furrowed on the stage as he couldn't find Eli Shan anywhere.

Suddenly, a hand landed on Mu Cheng's shoulder from behind. "I thought you were some kind of big shot, but it seems that's all you've got. Haha."

Mu Cheng quickly distanced himself, his face flushed with a mixture of shame and anger as his aura surged, revealing his peak cultivation. He admitted grudgingly, "It seems I underestimated you. Now, let me show you my full strength."

With a wave of his hand, Mu Cheng took out a sharp sword out of his space ring. "Now I am going to kill yo_"

Before he could finish his sentence, a powerful punch landed square on his face, sending him flying toward the transparent wall of the arena.

Gasp

Onlookers couldn't help but gasp in astonishment. This slim guy was so strong? Those who had made fun of him hid their faces, afraid of Eli Shan seeking revenge.

Without caring for others, Eli Shan walked calmly toward Mu Cheng, who was lying on the ground. "Would you please stop repeating the same sentence over and over? I am tired of it now." Eli Shan teased, making Feng Qiang burst into laughter.

Seeing that he was being taunted, Mu Cheng's eyes turned bloodshot with rage. He picked up his fallen sword and suddenly, using every ounce of his cultivation, he disappeared from his original position and reappeared before Eli Shan in a blink of an eye. His muscles bulged with anger as he swung his sword at Eli Shan.

"Aaaaaaaah!" Mu Cheng's fierce cry echoed through the battlefield as he slashed his sword downward with unimaginable force. Ignoring Eli Shan's strong physique, the sword sliced through his body from top to bottom, cutting him in two pieces.

The gruesome scene left the onlookers in a state of shock. Silence enveloped the crowd as they couldn't believe their eyes. Just a moment ago, Eli Shan had the upper hand, but suddenly he died?

"Hahaha, I will cut you into thousands of pieces." Mu Cheng began to laugh like a maniac as he seemed to lose all sense of reason and kept slashing at Eli Shan's lifeless body continuously.

Below the fighting stage, Feng Qiang's True Qi Realm aura erupted in a blaze of anger. Her normally gentle eyes turned bloodshot red as she dashed forward, crying out, "I will definitely kill you and avenge Eli Shan!"

Just as Feng Qiang was about to fight him to death, a voice suddenly floated out, cutting through the tense atmosphere. "Why would you avenge me? For him to kill my afterimage? Don't tell me you care so much for me? Hahaha."

Hearing the familiar voice, Feng Qiang stopped on her way and looked at the stage nervously.

On the stage, Eli Shan materialized out of thin air and winked at Feng Qiang, making her face flushed red. "You..." Tears didn't stop as her face became red hot, adding an additional charm to her beauty.

Mu Cheng also came back to his senses and realized that the lifeless body he had been relentlessly striking with his sword, suddenly vanished into thin air.

But Mu Cheng also had a good fighting experience, so instead of being stunned, he calmed down and turned around to slash his sword at Eli Shan swiftly, only to find out that he couldn't find him again.

Suddenly, Eli Shan appeared before him, then to his right, and swiftly to his left, only to reappear behind him. Soon he realized that Eli Shan was everywhere on the stage.

Each afterimage of Eli Shan grinned mockingly, taunting, "What happened? You can't even touch me? You can't even follow me with your eyes? You are still in your egg compared to me. Hahaha."

Mu Cheng couldn't help but look at the afterimages with a solemn expression on his face. He found out that even after using every ounce of his cultivation, his eyes couldn't follow Eli Shan's real body.

Realizing it, he couldn't help but tremble in fear. Soon an intense pain shot through his back, causing him to cry out, "Aaah!" But before he could understand what had happened, a blindingly fast punch, which he couldn't even imagine to evade, landed on his face, sending him flying on the transparent wall so hard that some kind of crack appeared on it.

As Mu Cheng's bloodied body tumbled to the ground, Eli Shan walked before him with a calm and indifferent expression. "You injured someone you wished to make your queen, and I wouldn't have intervened if it were solely your private matter," Eli Shan stated, initially in a composed manner, though his tone gradually shifted to anger. "But you are unlucky that the girl you injured happens to be my friend. And at first, I just thought to cripple you for injuring her," He stepped on Mu Cheng's hand forcefully, breaking his bones, causing him to cry out loudly, "Aaaaah." Eli Shan looked down at him and continued, "But just a moment before, you really wanted to kill me so..."

Eli Shan waved his hand, and one after another, waves of wind, with edges sharper than swords, began to condense around him.

"Goodbye!"

"Nooo..."

Eli Shan moved his hand toward Mu Cheng, and nearly a hundred sharp-edged winds rushed towards Mu Cheng one after another, slicing his body into countless pieces.

Looking at the scene, onlookers were left in bewilderment, unable to comprehend what had just happened. All they saw was that Eli Shan waved his hand effortlessly, and a high-intensity of wind erupted, and suddenly Mu Cheng sliced into countless pieces.

Shock and horror gripped the heart of the crowd, particularly Mu Cheng's devoted followers. They stared at Eli Shan with wide eyes, unable to fathom the incredible display of power they had just witnessed.
