A short note on spirit guardian mediums.
In the past when the spirit race was still prosperous in the spirit realm and had not fled to the myriad realms.
The spirit race members who controlled spirit guardians were called Spirit guardian mediums since they could merge with their spirit guardians, which allowed their spirit guardians to unleash their true power in the physical realm.
However, even this powerful ability of theirs couldn't help them much when the spirit race had been forced to flee from the spirit realm to the myriad realms.
Chapter 26: New Spirit Guardians

Hmm okay, Silphid show me all the system notifications that I got while I was fighting the six stone-carrying snakes and the two Earthen serpents but were hidden.

Oh wow, that's a lot of messages, I thought in surprise as I spent a few seconds reading through them. Nice looks like I leveled up after that fight with the snakes. Also, it looks like I got a bonus exp for winning my first fight using a vessel which is nice.

Spirit snake(F): A small snake that has stone-hard scales and mild weakening poison. Cost: 1 SF |

Lesser Wind bird(E): An evolved version of the spirit sparrow option. It is an early E-rank spirit guardian. This spirit guardian has the power to wield some basic wind magic in addition to having a low wind element resistance. (Note: Choosing this option will replace the spirit sparrow option with the lesser Wind bird option in the spirit guardians tab. ) Cost: 5 SF |

Mini rock golem(F): A small rock golem is a peak F-rank spirit guardian. It has high defense but low attack power. Cost: 3 SF |
Hmm looks like not a lot is new among the spirit guardian choices though the lesser Wind Bird is certainly quite tempting to take right now.
However, I think I will take the Mini Rock golem, spirit lizard, and spirit snake options instead as I am currently already quite powerful so I can easily get more soul fragments if I just go on a hunt. So honestly speaking I am more curious about these other spirit guardians.
“Hey, Silphid I choose the Spirit snake, Spirit lizard, and the Mini Rock golem as my new spirit guardians”.
As I finished speaking, Silphid immediately gave a response that the spirit guardian summoning was starting.
“Man being able to speak again is so fucking comfortable, I missed not being able to speak like this so much while I was just a Spirit wisp.”
As I spoke to myself, I turned my head to look to my left where three small holes were slowly opening up revealing the spirit realm on the other side from where the three new spirit guardians slowly came out.
As the three spirit guardians finished stepping, slithering, and rolling out. They immediately closed up after them, seeing which I turned my attention from the holes in the air to my new spirit guardians.
Among them, there was a small Aquamarine colored snake with an extremely cute and tiny head which I just wanted to pet.
To the right of the cute snake, there was a small and adorable crimson-scaled lizard. Who was currently staring curiously at the snake beside it.
Turning my attention to the pretty large round boulder to the right of the snake, I was puzzled for a moment about whether the system accidentally summoned a normal rock instead of the mini rock golem.
However, my doubt didn't remain for long as the seemingly normal large boulder suddenly grew a pair of small legs which compared to the rest of its body was really comical as even I couldn't hold back a small chuckle from leaving my mouth.
Then after a few seconds when the rock finished growing, its pair of legs, and many glowing writings which I think were runes started to appear all over its body which when I looked at closely using my skills I could see dense amounts of mana within those runes.
Hmm, I must say this Mini rock golem is very interesting. Especially if I could somehow just decipher those runes I might be able to make more rock golems like this one or even better make my custom golems.
Anyway, let's see what the status pages of these guys are, as I thought that I used my outer soul analysis skill to see the three new spirit guardians.

Oh wow, that's a lot of data actually, I hadn't thought that these F-rank spirit guardians would have so much data in their status pages also I feel rather stupid right now as I actually didn't think of doing this before.
If I had done this before I could have learned more about my spirit guardian's skills and used them more effectively. Also, the innate knowledge I received from the system about these spirit guardians only includes knowledge of one or two of their skills when they actually have more skills which I would have no idea about without inspecting their status pages.
Oh well, I will think about this later since I still need to recover more so let's focus on resting for now. As I thought that, I unsummoned the new spirit guardians since I am currently not in need of them.
After the three new spirit guardians had been unsummoned I closed my eyes again and activated my meditation skill and focused on recovering once again.
