Rehaan's mind wandered back to a distant memory, and he couldn't help but bring it up to Tevin. "Tevin, did you mention that I attempted to take advantage of you during our time at the beach?" Rehaan asked, his voice filled with curiosity.
Rehaan's question caught Tevin off guard, but he couldn't help but smile. Memories of their college days flooded his mind, and he couldn't help but reminisce about that fateful night they went out for drinks. Tevin's eyes sparkled as he began to recount the events.
Tevin chuckles, "I thought you won't ask me-He grins mischievously, "You remember that night at college when we decided to try drinking for the first time?" Tevin asked, his voice filled with nostalgia. I passed out and you attempted to steal a kiss from me. Quite bold, I must say."
Rehaan's curiosity piqued as he questioned, "But how did you know? Weren't you asleep?"
Tevin's smile widened as he explained, "Oh, Rehaan, I was merely resting my eyes. I could sense your presence drawing closer, and when your lips touched mine, I couldn't move. I didn't want to wake up because I wanted to understand your intentions. Deep down, a part of me secretly yearned for that kiss "
Tevin's heartfelt words touched Rehaan, and he blushed, averting his gaze shyly. "Oh, Tevin..." he murmured softly.
Unable to resist teasing him, Tevin playfully asked, "Are you feeling embarrassed, Rehaan?"
Rehaan quickly denied it, his gaze fixed on the ground. "No, why would I be?" he replied, his voice filled with a mix of emotions.
Rehaan, your face is all red, are you that shy?" Tevin observed. However, he quickly added, "Then I won't say what happened after that."
Curiosity got the better of Rehaan, and he insisted on knowing the details. "No, I want to know. Tell me," he urged Tevin.
"But you said we won't discuss about the past?" Tevin asks.
"Ha that's right, then don't tell," Rehaan says remembering his own words before.
Tevin, feeling a mix of apprehension and vulnerability, decided to open up about his true feelings.
"I was taken aback when you attempted to kiss me," Rehaan confessed. "That's why I wanted you to pick me up the next day. When I returned to my room, I found myself searching about being gay and all. I was scared to acknowledge those feelings within myself, but I also yearned to know your true emotions. I was afraid of my parents' reaction, but I also longed to understand your genuine sentiments. That's why I lied and told you that I liked another girl. But the truth is, I didn't have any feelings for her. I just wanted to gauge your reaction. However, you acted completely normal, which infuriated me. So, I decided to propose to another girl and became her lover. The rest, as you know" Rehaan revealed, pouring his heart out to Tevin.
"Wait...seriously?" Rehaan asks, raising an eyebrow in disbelief.
"Hmm. And the day you said you love someone. I wanted it to be me. But you didn't say anything. So, I went to our classmate and told them about my family issues," Tevin explains.
"Wait, stop. Are you serious, Tevin? Because of that, I thought I wasn't your special one," Rehaan says, a hint of disappointment in his voice as he smiles.
"What about it?" Tevin asks, curious to know Rehaan's thoughts.
"Well, there was a little reunion and I found out from our classmates that they know about your family matters. It made me really upset, and I started to think that maybe I wasn't your special one," Rehaan clarifies.
"I'm sorry for doing that, but I was scared of losing you and I was so jealous. It's true that I didn't want to admit that I had feelings for a man. You know how my parents always tell me to find a girlfriend, so I was conflicted," Tevin confesses, pausing for a moment.
"Hmm, I understand. So, you didn't go home after that?" Rehaan asks, concerned.
"No, why should I? It feels like they don't love me," Tevin replies sadly.
"Tevin, I think you should talk to them. Maybe they will understand if you explain how you feel," Rehaan suggests, offering support.
Their son is well-known, but they refuse to accept me. And if I were to confess my love for a boy, they would create more problems. It's better to remain in this situation. I don't want to experience heartache again. I don't want to hurt you again. I feel like I don't have a family anymore," Tevin expresses with disappointment.
"Who said that? I am your family," Rehaan asserts, gently cupping Tevin's face with his hands. "No matter what happens, I will always love you and be by your side forever. I, Rehaan, promise to my one and only boyfriend, Tevin the rockstar."
Tevin smiles and tightly holds both of Rehaan's hands. "Thank you."
Rehaan and Tevin exchange a nod before locking eyes. Tevin glances at Rehaan's lips, prompting a smile from Rehaan as he leans in for a kiss. Tevin reciprocates, but just as their lips are about to meet, Sam walks in.
"Tevin," Sam calls out.
Startled, Rehaan and Tevin quickly move away from each other. Sam catches on and looks away, apologizing for the interruption.
"Can't you knock before coming in?" Tevin questions.
"Oh man, I forgot you were busy with your guy," Sam admits.
"Then why did you barge in?" Tevin asks.
"I just wanted to know what you guys wanted for lunch," Sam explains.
"Anything works," Tevin replies.
Alright, I'm heading out now. You guys keep going. See ya! Sam says as he closes the door and vanishes.
Tevin glances at Rehaan. He seems embarrassed, but they both share a smile.
"Should we pick up where we left off?" Tevin suggests.
"Nope, I'm going to go assist Sam," he replies before walking out. Tevin smiles and gazes at Rehaan without looking away.
