Chapter 5 ~ Breaker of Chains part 2 ~

"M'lady the dungeons are no place for you" the Kingsguard said, spitting on the ground by the toe of my boot, I moved it out of the way before the glob of spit could touch me.

I was on him in second, my Valyrian dagger pressed against his throat before he could touch the hilt of his sword "you're a fool if you think that I won't cut your throat where you stand for even thinking of doing what you just did" I pressed the sharp blade under his chin and allowed it to knick the thin skin, "now you're going to let me and my companion though without another word and you will not breath a word of our visit to anyone" I pressed the blade deeper "nod" he did and I let him sag against the wall as I led Podrick away from the guard and deeper into the dungeon, other prisoners hissed at us as we went past, the torch in my hand did nothing to keep the darkness at bay.

"Come 'ere ye pretty cunt" an older man hissed as he tried to snatch my leg as we passed, causing me to kick him back into his cell.

"Rapers and murderers, most of them at least" I told Podrick as another man coughed from deep in his cell, I didn't know how long a lot of them had been here, the Nights Watch usually sent a man down to see who wanted to take the Black but according to Sansa the last Nights Watchman that came had been when father was injured and I was taken, I couldn't help but wonder what happened and why another hadn't come to the Capital.

I stopped in front of a large door and unlocked it with the keys I had taken from the guard, the smell of piss, shit and sweat hit me in the face and I gagged loudly "apologies for the stench, Podrick, sister" Tyrion's smooth voice came from the pile of hay that was left in the corner as a makeshift bed, he looked as tired as I felt.

"You'll have to forgive me if I don't come any closer then" I replied making him laugh slightly.

"I bought you some wine my lord," Tyrion turned to his faithful squire and grinned at him, "but they took it from me" I patted the young man on his shoulder, before I'd arrived at the dungeon he was being harassed by the guards, they were rifling through his belongings.

"A noble effort" Tyrion said his smile turning sad, "come to watch me wither away sweet sister?" He wiggles his eyebrows making me roll my eyes.

"Be snarky and I won't give you the wine I swiped from the guard I nearly killed saving your squire from their roaming hands" I pulled the wine from the folds of my cloak, throwing the sack at him I grinned when he snagged it in mid air and looked at it like it was his ticket out of this place.

"I always did like you best" Tyrion said with a smirk as Podrick produced the rest of the things he'd smuggled into the cell.

"They didn't find the candles, though" he said as he placed the things down on a crate that was used as a table "A quill, some parchment, duck sausage, almonds, and some hard cheese" he placed it all down and I looked at the slip of a boy with an intrigued eye.

"Where were you keeping all that?" I asked with a little smile, he looked at me shyly and smiled back.

"You're a good lad," Tyrion said making the boy brighten under his praise, he looked to me then "any word on Shae?" He asked and I shook my head, my good brother had fallen in love with a whore, snuck her into the Keep and had to sneak her out to keep her alive, her cover was a good one, my sisters handmaiden, no one looked twice at them.

"Nothing," I said honestly, she'd left before the wedding and there was no news, no sightings, nothing at all, which meant she was either dead or hiding somewhere, "the House of Black and White in Braavos will keep an eye out for her but that's all they can offer, unless you want her dead" Tyrion blinked and shook his head.

"I suppose that's a good thing, not hearing anything" he looked up with pleading eyes for a moment "What are they saying about me out there?" My lips thinned, I couldn't make myself repeat what the lords and ladies were whispering when they believed no one could hear them, the only who wasn't listening to the gossip was Olenna Tyrell, I'd seen her shoo away a lot of the high ladies who came to talk to her in the Rose Gardens.

"You're to stand trial in a fortnight for murdering the king" Podrick told him honestly, he was also skating around the things people were saying in front of him.

"Do you believe I murdered Joffrey?" Tyrion asked us both.

"No, my lord" Pod replied, ever loyal and almost honest to a fault "You didn't?" I scoffed at his question and he looked at me with surprise.

"No offence Podrick but you have to give Tyrion a little bit more credit than that, who kills a man at a wedding?" I looked between the two men who looked confused "cowards," I told them as I folded myself onto a small piece of clean ground "who kills using poison?" I asked them again and they both looked at one another with shrugs "women, poison is a woman's weapon, it's easy to hide on the body and because of our feminine wiles we can get as close to the target as possible" I picked a small piece of dirt off my boot and flicked it to the floor.

"Did you kill Joffery?" Tyrion asked with a raised eyebrow, his question was laughable at best.

"No. Gods, no" I laughed shaking my head "The world is a better place without him, but I had nothing to do with it" I tapped my chin in thought "though if I did I would like to think I'd plan it in such a way that you wouldn't be standing there gawking like a fool" I smirked when Tyrion shook his head.

"Trial in a fortnight" he mumbled thinking to himself "Have they announced the judges yet?" He asked Podrick who nodded.

"Your father" Podrick said as Tyrion began to pace his small cell.

"Of course"

"Mace Tyrell"

"Who will vote exactly as your father tells him to vote" i said matter of factly and Tyrion nodded in agreement, we both knew Mace was a puppet "And Prince Oberyn of Dorne" I said making Tyrion stop in his tracks.

"Oberyn? Give it to my father. He never fails to take advantage of a family tragedy" he shook his head and sighed, I knew which way Oberyn would swing when the time came, he wasn't one to be strong handed into a decision.

"I'm supposed to get a list of names from you, my lord. Anyone who might testify on your behalf" he removed another piece of paper and grabbed the quill and ink well so he could write.

"Oh, I can call my own witnesses?" Tyrion said with surprise "How generous of them" he muttered "Very well, my wife. Sansa." I shook my head.

"My lord, she's gone" Podrick told him, Tyrion stopped what he was doing and looked up.

"Gone?"

"No one's seen her since the wedding. You don't think she..." Tyrion moved closer and with him so too did his stench, I rushed to my feet and left the cell as fast as I could, I lost my breakfast in the long hallway, my worry for Sansa was growing and so was the worry for my unborn child, I touched my belly gently and took in a shuddering breath through my nose, I heard Tyrions door open and Podrick stepped out looking stricken.

"He wants to speak to you my lady" I nodded and righted myself before I went to move passed him, "he wants me to leave" he mumbled, his lip wobbled a bit and I touched his shoulder gently.

"We'll figure something out Pod, wait for me and we'll talk in my chambers" he nodded with his eyes down, probably trying not to sob at the thought of loosing a man that treated him like an actual person instead of a pawn or piece of shit, I entered the cell once more and met Tyrions worried face, "I'll make sure he's looked after" I told my brother who sagged slightly.

"Get Jaime here as well, please" I nodded and shuffled my feet, my stomach still rebelling against the smells that surrounded me.

"If I have to drag him here myself" I told Tyrion who sighed deeply, "I want you to know," he looked up at me and I smiled softly "I'm with child" I said quietly, the walls had ears even here.

"When did you find this out?" Tyrion went to step forward but I couldn't let him, the smell was almost too much.

"At the wedding, when Joffery killed the doves in the pie, I was served a piece with blood on it, Qyburn confirmed it" Tyrion nodded in understanding.

"Who else knows?" He asked just as quietly.

"You, Jaime, myself, Qyburn, Brienne" I said with a shrug "and Ellaria figured it out when she saw me sick"

"And none of them would tell father or Cersei?" Tyrion was already thinking what my fears were going to, Tywin would've cut this child out of me and had someone else take over if he could, Cersei, while no longer in the same situation with Jaime as she used to be, was still a jealous woman and while I used to think she wouldn't hurt me intentionally I couldn't help but think differently now.

"Qyburn has sworn to secrecy, Ellaria would tell no one but Oberyn who knows better then to talk, Brienne is sworn to me and Jaime so she shares our best interests" i shrugged nonchalantly "the Keep will find out in time, but Jaime and I are getting used to the thought of having a child"

"Continuing the Stark and Lannister lines" he raised the wine sack I had give him and took a sip.

"I'd savour that, I don't know when I'll be able to get you more" I told him, he winced and nodded, "we will figure something out Tyrion, I swear it"

"I know, you're clever enough to survive this place and our family" i blew him a kiss and exited the cell before locking it again, I would do everything in my power to make sure that he wouldn't be killed for a crime he didn't commit and I knew Jaime was the same.

I swept into my chambers with Podrick close behind me, he was trying to hold himself together, but if someone looked closely they'd see the sad eyes he had, the lip that had been chewed on to the point of swelling and the little sniffle he had, "sit" I ordered, removing my cloak I threw it over a chair and grabbed him a cup and some wine, he sat and I handed him the cup "drink" he did so slowly as I sat on another chair close by and ran my hand through my hair "this is a shit situation Pod," he nodded as he took another sip of wine, on our way he'd told me of the man that came to him, trying to get him to be a witness for Cersei against Tyrion, telling him he'd be knighted if he did, Podrick turned him down and now he was in danger.

"What will happen?" He asked as Storm approached slowly, he flinched when she set her large head against his leg and made a small noise in the back of her throat, she was trying to soothe him.

"You're in danger, so is Brienne, but I have a request for you both" he looked up, his eyes still looked sad but they were now looking a bit lighter, "I need you to find and protect my sisters, Brienne and Jaime swore to my mother that they would send Sansa and Arya back to her, as Arya hasn't been seen since before my father was murdered I need you to find her and Sansa, take them somewhere safe" Podrick nodded "I have no idea where safe will be but I need them as safe as possible," I placed a hand on his gently and rubbed my thumb over his knuckles "I trust you implicitly Pod, I know you won't fail" he smiled slightly "you won't leave yet, I have something to get Brienne but for now stay close to me if you can, I'll make it known that you're acting as my squire" he nodded and stood up, putting his cup onto the table.

"Thank you my lady" he went to bow but I caught him before he could.

"You're my friend Pod, I look after my friends" I kissed his cheek and smiled as he left my chambers with a red tinge to his cheeks.

— — — — —

Jaime and I lay tangled in our bed later that night, his hand resting gently on my belly, while the small bump was barely noticeable underneath my clothes my normally flat belly was now slightly protruding "we have to send them both away for their safety" I mumbled to Jaime as he absentmindedly rubbed his thumb over my bump, "Brienne will protect him and he'll help her" Jaime kissed my shoulder.

"Are you sure Lannister gold is wise for armour?" He asked speaking of the gift I had organised with the blacksmith, "there's still a lot of people who hate Lannister's" he ran his nose up my cheek and I turned my head so I could look at him directly.

"People also fear the Lannister's, it'll work to our advantage" I mumbled as my eyes stared unseeing at the ceiling of our room "I'll send her with my fathers seal, if people give her trouble that will give her a chance" I turned my head and looked at Jaime who was already staring at me.

"They'll find your sisters, I know that much," he assured me "I'll speak to the blacksmith in the morning as well" he kissed my lips gently and snuggled closer to my body "father gave me Joffery's sword, Tommen refused to touch it, I was thinking of giving one of the swords up to Brienne so she coat protect your sisters when she finds them" he met my gaze again and lifted his hand up to touch my face "your family's sword should protect your family"

I was in him in a second, my lips claimed his as i straddled his waist, his groan as I pressed myself against his body was like music to my ears "you're a good man Jaime Lannister" I mumbled against his jaw as I scooted down his hips slightly and made contact with the hardest part of him, my hand skated down his torso and circled him tightly, I moved my hand up and down slowly, building up the anticipation of what I was planning.

"You make me a good man Anaris Stark" his hand grabbed my hair and he yanked my lips to his "but right now I want to be a bad man" he nipped my lip and flipped our positions, pressing into the bundle of nerves at the apex of my thighs I gasped as he thrust into me, he stayed still for a money allowing my body to relax and accept him entirely before his thrust up into me again, he pressed against the bundle of nerves again causing my legs to shake before he began to pound into me like it was our last day on earth, he never stopped or slowed as my body began to twitch from the feeling that was building in my belly, my gasps fuelled him on as he latched into my nipple and nibbled it, he bit down slightly hard making me cry out in release when the melting feeling in my belly exploded "that's it" Jaime mumbled as he continued to pound into my body despite for his own release, his groan answered my gasp as his hips stuttered and he pressed his weight down slightly, our breathing intermingled as his lips met mine gently.

"Still a good man" I told him with a giggle when he arched an eyebrow, his eyes lit up with amusement.

"Oh we'll see about that" he said with a smirk.
