He swung and his punch hit her far harder than she had expected, launching her back and sending her hundreds of meters. She sat up at the end of her slide and spat out some blood. “What the-“

                Velle started to speak but he was on her already, she rolled out of the way as his second punch cratered the ground where she had just sat. “Oh, you came to play.” She said out loud, smiling.

                She counter attacked and threw a punch, he dodged and brought his knee to her chest. Her other hand caught the blow as the force shoved the air around them away. They were now both smiling. They traded some more blows, detonating the air around them a few more times as they went at it. Everyone else was shocked to see the mild-mannered Cardinal suddenly able to fight Velle as a near-equal. The fight ended when she managed to throw him back into the training area and used gravity magic to hold him still for a moment. “So,” She said aloud. “You were hiding in my memories since I came back, were you?” She said to him.
