Hol was waiting outside the school gate for Glenn to show up. They were finally going to have a sleepover and Hol was excited. He couldn’t sleep last night because he was making sure his room was extra clean. He also made sure that his bed was extra comfortable, it was possible that his lover would sleep in the same bed as him.
‘Okay, okay… Try not to get hard. It would be so awkward if I did that. What if he thinks I am a pervert…’ Hol took out a cigarette and was smoking it so he could calm down his nerves. It was helping but it stopped working when he saw Glenn running towards him with such a big smile on their face that made Hol feel like he was floating.
“Sorry I was taking so long. I had to talk to a teacher about something boring. We can go to your house now.” Glenn felt like the bag he was holding with his sleeping clothes and clothes for tomorrow was super heavy. He was finally going to sleep over at Axl's home. He is going to be in their room, just the two of them. He really can’t calm down at all…
“Yeah… My ride is waiting for us. It's nothing much or anything.” Hol was feeling nervous for some reason. He doesn’t want to look bad in front of Glenn. He always gets like this with his lover. He is so calm around other people but he gets all lovesick next to them.
“So that is your ride that was waiting for us… It is something…” How could Glenn politely say this… Axl is super fucking rich. His family couldn’t dream of getting such a fancy-looking car and have it still looking all brand new. He was getting nervous about messing up at Axl's home. He bet it is super fancy and shit like that. Why is his crush so rich?!
Hol didn’t notice what Glenn was currently going through and opened the door to the car so that they could go in first. He closed the door behind him as he got in the car after Glenn. They seem rather tense as they sat in the car so Hol decided to put his head on their shoulder.
“Just relax, everything will be okay. I like you the best when you are relaxed. Not in a weird way or anything like that…” Hol was messing around with his fingers as he said this. His face felt warm and he hoped that Glenn couldn’t notice this.
Glenn didn’t reply, just rested his head on top of Axl. His face grew hot when he placed his hand over Axl. He didn’t know who did it first but their fingers were interlocking. It felt rather nice just holding their hand.
After a while of just holding hands with Glenn, they finally got to his home. Hol let Glenn get out of the car first and made sure to hold their bag with all their clothes in it. He hoped the way he was acting was normal, not awkward. How does one act around their lover? Should he be super relaxed? He never knows what to do!
“Ma, I am home and I have a friend with me! Don’t be weird!” Hol raised his voice as soon as he entered the house. Glenn looked a bit nervous as they looked over the house but they didn’t have to worry about anything.
“My grandson brought his friend over? How cute! I just finished making dinner so how about your friend put his bag in your room. You can help me share the food. Axl's room is to the left after you come up the stairs!” Lanita pushes Glenn toward the stairs before grabbing Hol by his arm and dragging him toward the kitchen. For an old woman, her gripe was rather strong.
“So… Isn’t he cute?” Lanita was looking at him with a smile on her face that he didn’t enjoy. Hol was using a stepping ladder to get the plates for the food and trying to ignore the fact his face was burning hot.
“I remember asking you to not be weird! You are currently being WEIRD! Don’t embarrass me in front of Glenn, please.” Hol was kind of aggressive as he placed the plates on the table but it wasn’t strong enough to break the plates. He could still feel Lanita's eyes on his back and feel her smug smile.
“Okay, I promise. I won’t do anything weird. Now be gentle with those plates or else I will get mad.” Lanita finally took her eyes off his back and he could finally relax but that didn’t last long since Glenn came back from his room.
Glenn changed out of their school clothes and was wearing a buttoned-up shirt that looked big on them and short pants. Hol could feel his body tense up again and he just had the urge to hug Glenn so tight while kissing all over their face.
“D-Do you need help?” Glenn was a bit nervous as he looked at the older woman who was Axl's grandmother. She was such a pretty-looking woman and he was worried about looking bad in front of her.
“No, no! You are the guest! Relax and wait for the food at the table. I have my cute grandson helping me out. My cute single grandson.” Lanita gave a wink at Glenn and Hol felt like his soul wanted to leave out of his body at that moment. He shot a glare at her but she just ignored it with a smile on her face.
“O-Oh, I see? That is good… I will wait at the table.” Glenn tried to make eye contact with Axl but they were avoiding his eyes. It seemed like they were embarrassed at the moment and he couldn’t help but think that made them even cuter. He likes seeing them embarrassed…
Lanita couldn’t help but smile to herself when she noticed what was currently happening. Her grandson was so embarrassed and his crush was looking at him with eyes that her husband used to give her when they thought she wasn’t paying attention.
She was rather worried that Axl would never fall in love because of his useless old man who didn’t know how to be faithful. But now she can relax knowing her grandson doesn’t find love useless. She should celebrate! What would be a good thing to give her grandson? He is into a new metal band so she should probably get some CDs for him.
Lanita couldn’t help but hum to herself as she cooked. She was probably going overboard with how much food she was making but Axl was looking a bit skinny and that was not good at all! He is a growing boy who needs to eat a lot!
