Thought I'd do another side story. Just like with Diablo, this chapter is short. Hope you enjoy.

I don't remember much.

But, there's one memory etched into my mind.

That woman.

The mature woman with black hair, embedded with millions of sparkles, reminding me of the stars.

Even just looking at her from behind, not being able to see her face, I was stunned at her beauty.

But what stood out the most was her aura.

Whoever she was, she's extremely powerful.

Even just a quick glance at her, and I could feel her power completely overwhelm me.

I even unconsciously wanted to kneel in front of her.

But, my body couldn't move.

It was like I was only able to look and see, not move.

As I saw her walk away, I noticed she walked through a crack that closed behind her.

What was that crack, and who was she?

Now that I think back about, I still can't help but wonder.

If she's this powerful, then what am I?

Yes, I'm aware our kin are called Gods, and we're supposedly powerful.

Yes, I'm aware I'm much stronger compared to the other men and women. Except my wife, Kola, of course.

But, so what?

You know, I can't help but somewhat look down on myself and my strength.

The difference in strength is like the difference between heaven and earth.

It's not just something you're able to compare.

If I were to challenge her to a duel, then she could probably even unconsciously kill me.

She wouldn't even have to move or do anything.

That's how powerful she felt.

I've already searched far and wide for years, but to no avail.

Where could she be?

Perhaps there's something bigger out there?

Something bigger than we, Gods, can even begin to imagine.

We've searched hundreds of planets and stars, but we've found nothing.

She's so mysterious and unfathomable.

She's someone I would never even be able to compare to, even if I lived for millions of years!

She's someone I probably would never have the chance of seeing again.

Over the couple hundred years, I've lived already, I've done nothing much.

Yes, we the Gods have established ourselves in this place.

Yes, we the Gods have grown in numbers.

Yes, we the Gods have grown in strength.

But what's our goal?

What's our goal with life?

We've explored far and wide, but we've only found the same landscape on every single planet.

There's not even anything different.

Of course, this was until 20 years ago, where we found something extremely unfathomable.

It was a planet.

A planet, where half of it was one big crater, crossing millions of miles from one side to another.

And in the middle, was a sword.

A sword, that emitted so much power it was almost unbelievable.

It would've been unbelievable if I hadn't seen that woman.

Her aura showcased she was probably millions of times more powerful than this weapon.

But how?

How come someone so powerful came to this place?

How come she didn't want us to see her?

How come I can't find her?

How big is this place we're at?

To be honest, I have no idea.

We've already explored for a couple of hundred years, but we've found nothing.

It's always the same fucking lush plant life, beaches, and crystal clear oceans.

There's no difference between the hundreds of planets we've looked at.

The only thing different, are the stars.

The stars that are made of a glowing hot substance.

But what good are they, except for providing light?

There are so many questions I'd like answered.

Who is that woman?

Why was she here?

Where is this?

And what's the meaning of our existence?
