Even though Yoriichi really hates killing but he might need to do it since otherwise, they will starve

Even on the island he sometimes needed to hunt because Rayleigh left yoriichi in the forest with no food nor water and forced him to hunt alone since survival is an instinct for any living Creature which includes every species 

So Yoriichi could only hunt those who came to hunt him but he made sure to give all creatures he hunted for food a painless death and as well as sincerely apologize to them for taking their lives 

Right now their condition is the same as that time because they need food, even if Yoriichi is fine without eating for a few days but still both Robin, as well as Ember need food to function otherwise they might never reach the ship

"Yoriichi, I never asked you before but did you really nearly kill a celestial dragon and his guards as well as steal their stuff?" Robin asked this with a curious tone since even though she also wanted to ask this previously but she didnt because she was in a hurry to leave 

Now that there are no breaks, she asked this because Celestial Dragons are like gods here, they can do anything with no consequences and whoever tries to go against them

Those people receive a very heavy punishment, so worse that even death sounds peaceful as a punishment

Thats why Robin is very curious about the fact that if it's true then why did Yoriichi do such a thing at the first thing and more importantly how he is still fine after doing all and most important

Robin is not worried that this question might be personal because she also told yoriichi about herself and her past in order to gain his complete trust, so it's natural for Robin to ask Yoriichi about his past

"yes, I did that" Yoriichi replied to her without making any excuses because he knew what he did and he did not have even a single regret doing it

Even though he doesn't know who are celestial dragons are but he is sure that Robin is talking about the time when he was a child and beat up all the people who tried to hurt his friend 

At this reply, Robin became a little surprised since she didn't expect Yoriichi to directly admit it as she opened her mouth and again asked "Why?"

"They tried to hurt my friend" Yoriichi replied again since that was the whole reason for him beating them but to yoriichi it was worth it otherwise Hancock and her sisters might not survive

And that's why even if somehow he has the ability to go back in time then also he would do the same as the previous time otherwise what point of him living when he can't protect the people who are precious to him

Hearing Yoriichi answer made her extremely stunned because during these years she only faced betrayals as well as pain

That's why she didn't help but think yoriichi is really naive as well as innocent in this world, especially after hearing his answer

it's not only because of his reply but also the fact that he is willing to trust her even after getting tricked once

From his reply, she couldn't help but also remember memories of her past which were unpleasant

But after moments, she calmed her mind because she needed to escape this place and remembering those sad memories wouldn't help in that task

After getting enough rest to continue their journey… 

They again started to walk, but fortunately, after walking more sometimes they encountered one ostrich-like creature

As soon Yoriichi saw this, he immediately used his conqueror haki to ask for help as that bird stopped and started to come towards him

Meanwhile, Robin told him about this creature to yoriichi since she thought yoriichi didn't know about this because it was his first time coming here

This is a Spot-Billed Duck which is a type of duck that has web-less feet and lives here in Alabasta as well as being incredibly fast runners, reaching speeds faster than a leopard.

And having this as their ride would surely be very helpful for them which not only save their energy but also make their journey a lot faster as well as easier

After seeing that bird obeying Yoriichi without any complaints, robin couldn't help but be surprised because wild Super Spot-Billed Duck are not easy to tame

Yoriichi sat on the bird's back after the bird allowed yoriichi, and Robin also climbed back on the bird since there was only one, so they needed to share

Suddenly on the way, Yoriichi senses the danger from the underground as he quickly signals their ride to stop

*BLAST*

Suddenly a huge purple lizard came out from the sand, luckily they stopped otherwise that lizard would have Swallowed them all together in one go 

Seeing this, Yoriichi quickly get up on his feet and takes out his sword blade which is totally pitch black in colour 

"Be careful there should be another one too nearby!" Robin said this in a rather loud tone in order to make him careful about this since she knows about this lizard and also knows this things always hunt in a pair

Yoriichi already knows about this because he already senses another one here through his observation haki and he doesn't think they would let them get pass 

This is why Yoriichi is going to kill them since this also provides them food and with determination to kill these monsters, his body unconsciously starts to release a terrifying pressure
