The land is fractured. The people are divided. Humanity's creator has perished long ago; now, they are doomed to stagnate under the celestial expanse, nations waging war on each other in a desperate attempt to hold dominion over what little authority remains.

Yet, not all is forsaken. A Comet has been birthed by the earth and sky. Their descent brings forth a rare boon long thought lost to the ravages of despair: hope. And so the forces of the world begin to move in earnest, bewitched by the promise of a brighter morrow.

One is a winged King, their Will confined to the gilded cage that is duty.

One is a malicious Corvid, gaze transfixed to the horizon whispering of conquest.

And one is a nameless Knight. Forgotten. Slumbering. Ready to fulfill its purpose.

Six Wills. Six rulers. Six armaments.

When six converge as one, humanity shall finally reach out to the Stars.

This is a rewrite of an already completed novel that finished running in December of 2023. It is not on Scribblehub, rather a website called RoyalRoad under the name of Aegis: The First Attempt. If you want to peruse it while waiting for the new chapters to come out, please feel free, but I first began writing it while very inexperienced with prose, grammar, and pacing in general. Thus, the quality of it isn't as polished as I would prefer it to be, so I'm doing a full rewrite to really bring this world of mine the love and care it deserves.
