The humans who survived the Demon War. Unlike Old Humanity, they have pointed ears. After the moon children's sacrifice, New Humanity worked hard for civilization to bounce back.

One of the two remaining moon children. He had gotten lost and separated from the others before the moon children planned their sacrifice, so he was not aware until after it had happened. With the moon children gone, he no longer sees the point in performing the annual ritual (see Moon Children) and has thus stopped aging at 15.

Has a scar in one eye, turning it silver. His other eye is blue.

His hobby is knitting.

One of the five object demons. Originally human, he came in contact with the cursed sword Aeron and turned into a demon. Plagued with an insatiable blood lust, he spent his days slaughtering villages until meeting Sora. Physically 17, his Turning was 200 years ago.

He raised Kurami from infancy as his sister.

One of the two remaining moon children. Originally the prince of the moon children, he was chosen to be left behind in order to find a way to bring back the species after the sacrifice. Stopped aging at 17 (see Moon Children).

Nicknamed Monty.

A rare shadow demon. To seal her powers, Kuro wrapped her eyes in bandages. Has extremely heightened senses and can hear the smallest of details. Raised by Kuro from infancy, she regards him as her older brother. Physically 14.

Her hobby is painting. Though she believes she paints peaceful scenery, her paintings always end up depicting violent imagery.

Crown prince of Kiratopia. In charge of the kingdom while his father is in a coma.

His hobby is collecting crosses.

Princess of Kiratopia. Light's younger sister. A scholar, she enjoys reading in the library. She is close to Hatori.

One of the five object demons. Light's number one adviser. A scholar, he enjoys reading in the library. He is close to Starlight.
