In a world of skills, titles and blessings; a smart time looper would perhaps scheme, plan, amass equipment and allies. But not Orodan. If there's one thing he's good at it's stubbornly trying the same thing over and over again via brute force till it's done.

If a wall is in front, going around is not an option. Instead batter it with your head thousands of times till either the wall breaks or you do. And gain skill levels along the way.

    Status: Chapter 61 – Experimentation & Inter-Galactic Travel

Absolutely brilliant character writing, dumbass MC, but not brain-dead, a perfect balance of brute force and "oh sh*t, I should think maybe"

The thing that I appreciate the most is that the story allows space for speculation. What I mean is that you can think further on the reasons for why things are happening.

Of course those things aren't that important, connecting the dots about how characters think and act is nice and all, but you don't need to do that to enjoy the story.

Overall, I would say that this is a great story and would recommend this to everyone I know.

I have been editing the review for the last 4 chapters after chapter 24 and my opinion hasn't changed. The quality has been kept consistent so far

    Another update since chapter 28.

This novel stays consistent. Long chapters, brilliant writing style, amazing descriptions. The doesn't drag anything out when it's not necessary. I got goosebumps in chapter 44, it really did hit me deep.

We now hit chapter 61, and honestly, all the chapters are gems, I really appreciate that the author respects our intelligence, makes us think for ourselves instead of explaining everything, it's the main reason why the really long chapters work so well.

Though the writer has some odd quirks (such as using the word titanic in descriptions really excessively) this story is pretty darn good. Its got a pretty solid foundation with the whole "dumbass main character throws his head at a wall until it breaks idea.". And has a cast of characters who feel consistent throughout the loops.

P.S the chapters are also loooooong

Status: chapter 2 – using death as a...

I just don't like the protagonist's personality. That's enough. (And it can be easily deduced in 2 chapters, since the author literally pokes your nose into this personality. And these 2 chapters are enough not only for me to form a fairly complete impression of this work.)

For such stubborn personalities to achieve something worthwhile, they literally need plot armor. Or they need to use the swarm method and crush any problem with a crowd of poking it until it is solved. But I more or less like Naruto, as do many others, although he definitely fits the description. So what's the difference?

In suicidal tendencies, inability to adapt to the information received and the lack of stakes and boredom.

Boredom... The author does not know how to write time loops correctly. They are simply boring and they are practically not colored by emotions. Maybe he is a fan of standardization, but... he clearly chose the wrong kind of activity for such a hobby.

A time loop always lowers the stakes, questioning only the preservation of sanity and the sudden change of the start and reset point of the loop. You can somehow raise the stakes, adding some erosion, restrictions, etc. And even then the lowering of the stakes will still be noticeable. (The exception is a loop created only to torture and break.)

Adaptation to the situation... There is none, the protagonist literally represents the phrase: "He is too dumb to die." And you can say that he dies, but... obviously he does not, because he is too dumb to understand this fact. Plus the protagonist has the opportunity to find out who the spy is / if there is one at all; he does not think about finding him; he has a confirmed enemy, he does not think to find where he is hiding and prepare an ambush for him. (In fact, it is possible to write a dumb protagonist without it being annoying, and I've seen some decent examples. But the author clearly took on the wrong burden.)

And finally, suicidal tendencies: "I have a time loop and it will be eternal" - that's exactly what the situation looks like (even if it's not). And the problem is not that this suicidal tendency has developed over many, many loops, no, it's not. This suicidal tendency was already there before the first death. I have no interest in reading a novel with a protagonist who does not have a survival instinct, such works simply lack color, because the author's interference is obvious.

"He always chooses the hard way." The question was never about taking the hard way or the easy way, it was always about choosing the pragmatic, emotional or right path. And when the author chooses as a protagonist a creature who only goes the hard way... It's just stupid, boring, and funny. Because what always moves the hard way will never reach the goal, constantly approaching it, but never reaching it. (Proof: 1 divided by any number except 0, repeat. 0 will not be reached. 1-1=0... Here is a simple comparison of the always hard way and the right way.)

And finally, the most important reason why this work is not worth reading: The protagonist's character is a constant. He will not change for one simple reason - this is the author's gimmick. And even if the protagonist's character is suddenly changed by the author, this will also destroy the work, since such stupid and stubborn people literally do not change (because they are incapable of changing), regardless of any circumstances (except for a direct change of personality).

P.S. And of course, I did not find humor (any humor) either, although this is literally one of the main and almost necessary details of works with a long time loop/clones. And all the other parts of this work do not look like something outstanding either. So it's a total failure.

    Status: Chapter 24 – Skill Combinations & A Standoff...

This is a nice and crunchy litrpg that manages to balance numbers-go-up skill grinding with an actually decent plot. Even though the skills get a bit less focus after the first few chapters, they remain centrally important throughout the story, and the plot does a good job of not feeling like an afterthought while leading to interesting scenarios and battles.

I will say that at some points it felt like there was a little too much of characters gawking about how impossible his powers are and how cool and awesome he is, but I guess that just kinda comes with the power fantasy territory.

It's a great novel, the writing quality and world-building are top-tier. Chapters are a bit longer than regular ones, around 3 to 4 times the size. The story and plot are also decent.I'm a little fearful of the power creep tho.

I loved the story so far. This is the first time where I loved an idiot MC. But his cheats play marvelously with his idiocy.

    Keep writing such good quality.

I'm enjoying this, but it is a very light read and I feel a bit dirty for enjoying it. The story moves really fast, there's minimal character development beyond the massive power growth, and the main character is stupidly powerful almost immediately.

I get that the characters are magically obscenely powerful but when it starts saying how he's making 20 attacks per second my mind just disconnects a bit - that's not possible to visualise.

Rated a 3 because I am still enjoying it despite the above, but I recognise that there's fundamentally better works out there that I've rated 4.

Edit: Having now got up to date, I've upped this to a 4.  The later chapters are quite an improvement story-wise over the early ones, and I've come to terms somewhat with the stupid levels of power.  When the MC can regenerate from half a cell of body mass, what's 100 attacks per second?  The second long loop allows for some good character development that was absent from the early chapters.

Just wish that we got a few worldbuilding definitions early on, but you learn them as you read so less of a bad thing, but a warning to future readers reading my review
