It's not written badly. But there's a lot of names thrown around at the start of the story, which makes it hard to either keep track or figure out who's relevant and who's not. There's also not much of a hook. The Justice Lords have been captured and stopped from their reign! Wow! How did they become evil? How did they get captured? What happened? You don't get to hear about that. Instead you get to read about some random teenage girl whose dad is a cop. And then the rest is just "get introduced to like 10 different characters" and f**k the first part, it's only there to help one character's backstory.
