Skill and Equipment Grades

From worst to best, skill and equipment grade went like this:

Common > Uncommon > Rare > Unique > Heroic > Legendary > Mythic.

Sometimes, a modifier appears in front of the skill or equipment grade, such as Half-Mythic or Pseudo-Heroic.

Gift ranks

From worst to best, gifts were ranked like this:

F > E > D > C > B > A > S > SS > SSS > EX

Sometimes, a modifier appears after the gift rank, such as B+ or A-.
Some gifts can evolve to a higher rank, although the conditions are generally unknown and unique to each gift.

3 Basic Magician Types

All magic are based on the concept of [Change].

Differences between black magicians, sorcerers, and normal magicians:

  • Normal Magicians: Specialize in elemental and conceptual magic that follows natural laws. Very versatile, but cannot apply attack/debuff magic on living beings directly. Strength relies heavily on creativity and persuasive power of the magician.


  • Sorcerers: Masters of curse magic, debuffs, and directly affecting minds/souls of living targets. Expert manipulators and weakeners but lack raw power. Vulnerable to all attacks, but also very strong against all living beings.


  • Black Magicians: Wield the most destructive force magic at cost of sanity/health. Can use the sanity/health of other living beings as the cost of magic. Black magic ignores laws of nature. Strong offense and defense but magic is unpredictable, addictive, and has a high degree of failure.


Summary:


1. Normal Magicians:

  • Strong elemental/conceptual magic
  • Follow natural laws for reliable effects
  • Relies heavily on creativity and persuasive power


2. Sorcerers:

  • Experts at curses, debuffs, mind control
  • Very difficult to directly combat, but the caster is usually very easy to defeat
  • Lack variety/power to defeat anything except living beings.


3. Black Magicians:

  • Most powerful destructive/defensive magic available
  • Magic ignores natural laws
  • Power comes at heavy price of sanity/health
  • Magic is unpredictable and corrupting
Special Magic (temporary)

# Note: I need some way for Eliza to protect herself, but I am not sure what exactly does she need. So it might change for her.



1. Rune Magic (User: Seer, MC)

  • Uses symbols/characters imbued with magical energy
  • Runes can be etched, drawn, or constructed into formations
  • Formations amplify effects when multiple runes are combined
  • Requires study of the mystical language and properties of runes
  • Effects depend on arrangement and method of activation


2. Ritual Magic (User: Eliza, ???)

  • Powered by formal ceremonies, incantations, and mystic components
  • Completion of intricate rituals summons magical forces/effects
  • Requires a lot of preparation and concentration to wield potent magic
  • Effects are usually spectacular or dramatic compared to other magic


# Note: There are other type of special magic, like Bianca's family's [Holy Magic]. But I am not sure whether these other special magic will even appear in the story, so I don't include them for now.

  • Skill = Bianca's Healing Art (Semi-Mythic).
  • Aura = 1st Level. 
  • Aura training method = (Bianca's Pure Aura + Light Attribute) and (Dragon Lord's Enormous Aura Pool + Lightning Attribute)
  • Mana = ???
  • Absolute Blade Arts mastery = ???
