Who wants to live forever?

Mark Wheeler and Wendy Foster are dying when a mysterious lady offers to save them. Sort of. Now Mark and Wendy are in a strange new fantasy world that feels much like a video game with character sheets and everything.

But the developers and deities involved have ideas of their own and one of them pushes Mark and his girlfriend to reestablish an old order of martial artists dedicated to doing good. An order recently eradicated under strange circumstances.

Soon the couple is embroiled in intrigue, adventuring, and keeping the peace in a frontier town where all is not as it seems. A tall task for short folks because when they created their characters, Mark got to pick the class, but Wendy got to pick the race and gnomes are cute, aren't they?
