The ancient plains. A unique crack in space and time cracked forth a charismatic "man" so amplified in hunger and stature, that the Great Scribes purged his evils from the Great Books. But this would be in vain. Because, centuries later, he would resurface; convincingly normal.

To violently intersect with a modern woman.

Stories of antiquity and stories of modernity interlace as he begins devouring her world. But, these horrors provide vital clues to his erased story --

-- a story that travels down the threads of many lives, leaping across epochs, generations, continents - *and* timelines to horseshoe with the Great Books.

A story she must demystify, in her bid to slay him. But before she can, she must romance him first.

Lest he lustily eat her, too.

But, he *is* charismatic. And not a man; not entirely.
