The story is a fun Adventure/Fantasy in an interesting world where people are born with Supernatural 'Traits' and have a rudimentary System. I zoomed through the chapters, and I'd really recommend the book.
but to make the review fair, there are 2 flaws that I currently see.
1 - Apparently a person in this world can gain other Traits than the ones they're born with, and some people have 10 or more of them. Traits are so strong that the MC [Regeneration] Trait can already (at 11 years old) heal basically any wound he receives as long as he has food. The author does not spend hardly any time on any other Traits, which is a shame, but wow, no one's Trait so far has shown nearly as much power as the MC's.
2 - The MC has a bad personality. To be clear he's not crooked or vile, he's smart and intuitive - but he has very little dialogue outside of him relaying information during fight scenes. And as best as I can remember, the MC has NEVER initiated a conversation about anything to anyone that wasn't to do with business or to get something that he wanted. He has people who think they are his friend/associate, but the MC doesn't have friends and he doesn't even treat people like associates. They are more like objects or NPC quest givers.
