For what reason might one have for wanting to step onto the center stage? Glory, perhaps? Riches—a possibility. Power—unnecessary. For Blythe, none served well. The scent of honey, while enticing to bears, often remains second when compared to the sweet, sweet taste of meat.

Blythe was like a bear, in that sense. As the Drifting Trickster, they were averse to the idea of using their powers for material gains. Thousands of faces they possessed, yet not one of them could ever truly grant their dream. When one reaches the top, it is common to find naught but loneliness.

This story follows a certain trickster’s journey across the world as they meet countless new faces, with the goal of one day finding for themself a reason to once again return to the spotlight they once danced upon.
