Alexander drake died and got reincarnated by a R.O,B in the world of Danmachi with a "gift" in the form of Hell's forge in exchange for his memories of that world. He will go on to become an adventurer in the dungeon city of Orario from there.
A great danmachi story that I really have to aplaud for the pacing. Not sure if others would agree but I feel as though the growth in this story (power wise) is excellent and follows a nice "curve" where you consistently feel the increase in power but also understand there is quite a distance to go.
On top of that, the original main character is just a lot of fun to be around, and I feel like he makes the other characters nearby more fun as well. Bell exists but he is very much not a focus, even still his moments are quite cool. The various "important" gods we meet have been interesting as well and Hestia manages to be Hestia without sliding quickly into lewd territory like far too many other danmachi stories. Hestia really FEELS like Hestia from the original show and I applaud that.
There are a lot of other good things I could point out, but I'm not wanting to spoil anything so I'll leave it at that.
Beside the MC everything is great. The MC is mentally unstable and talks a lot. Like a lot lot. One usually wouldn't speak more than one sentence in one seating. The MC always spoke in one paragraph or more. And yes he is mentally unstable and didn't deserve the captain position since he didn't have any leadership quality in himself. Every 3-4 chs he would do something extremely cringe, an extremely painful one. If you could bear the pain of the cringes you're welcome to read this. Otherwise skip it.
There's only One Reason why I don't like, Danmachi's Fanfic.
That's because Danmachi is a wonderful World created by the author, It has so many individual characters and side stories which has their own individual personalities and backstories.
The story of Danmachi itself is already good and doesn't need a Fanfic at all. Bell (14 years old kid) in the original is written very well tbh. The essence of a Teenager slowly being influenced by his surroundings and making decisions which adults should be making.
Not only that but, his desire to be a Hero! The thing which pushes him forward no matter what circumstances, be it during Haruhime's time, Ryu's time, Lili's time or during the Zeno's time, the essence of humanity's behaviour and his Contradictory behaviour to the norms of his world is portrayed extremely well by the author in the original.
Even in Other side stories, Like Sword Oratorio of the Danmachi world where Bell is not the Main Character. His MC'ness still shines out no matter the situation, portraying him the original MC of the Danmachi world.
No Matter how hypocritical the situation begets him to become, No matter how hopeless the situation the other person is in, he gets through it with his own belief. Pondering, Cringing, Worrying and sometimes even outrightly denying it, he is able to come to conclusion which definitely a 14 year old is not supposed to make.
That is what makes Bell's story more interesting to read! For me at least.
Compared to that, no matter how interesting this story is... It's lacking... Not only in the world development, but also hugely in the essence of Character development.
You need to understand that Bell is the Last true Hero (Hermes even Mentioned this btw) and a sole anomaly of the Danmachi world.
Strictly speaking, I'm talking about Danmachi world, not in general story writing. In which case, it is good.
Alexander was a fairly normal guy on earth or at least he hoped so. Somehow though he had gone his entire life without playing a single pokemon game or watching any of the anime. That changed when his friends kept pestering him about it and he fin
