A torrid sci-fi adventure serial, set on a planet dominated by rapacious oceanic empires and poorly understood living machinery, such as amphibian battleships, arthropod carriages and squirming corsets.

In "Fervour of the Past", a young would-be-swindler inserts himself to an archaeological dig site, in hopes of abstracting valuable artefacts. To him it's no obstacle, that he had to apply to a position intended for a woman. As pretending to be a girl requires ever less effort, priorities shift and bend. Beneath the ground nearby, a treasure trove of ancient technology stirs, threatening both love and serenity of the world's waves.
