The Walking Dead takes place after the onset of a worldwide zombie apocalypse. The zombies, referred to as "walkers", shamble towards living humans and other creatures to eat them. They are attracted to noise and to scents, including the scent of humans.
"Wrong! The subject matter should be why I am here!"
After suddenly waking up one day in an onset of a worldwide zombie apocalypse. Michael had to adapt and navigate a familiar but at the same time unfamiliar world. He didn't have any problems suddenly living in such a chaotic zombie infested world.
His only complaint is why, why was he here? He didn't live a depressing life and a virgin like those Main Characters in the stories he read before. In fact, he was having a great life, he had the money, the cars, the women!
"At least I have some knowledge of this world after binge watching this series for almost a straight week! Sigh~ at least I have something that can allow me to live here safely and peacefully"

I give this a 3.5/5. It's pretty great, but there's a few reasons it's held back.
I look forward to seeing how this ends up!

It was decent up until around the time they got to the farm, but it has to be said the reason it was decent was because the good parts came from the show. And I'm not exaggerating here, the author copied the dialogues from the show verbatim. Word per word. The only 'original' part came from when they were interacting with the protagonist but even then he barely really did anything and instead followed the plot to the point of almost getting killed at the CDC for doing so blindly, which didn't stop him from keep going the same way afterwards.
I kept giving a chance even after he for no good reason decided to leave the group in chapter 25 and only came back on chapter 63... honestly I'd say read it if you want a zombie novel, not a TWD fic.
I'll say though, there's some pretty s*xist sh*t going on constantly in..."minor" instances, it's not entirely thrown in your face but it does get pretty uncomfortable once you start realizing it. Both on how the author write the women behaving and about the protagonist's thoughts on them. It doesn't automatically make the story bad as there are in fact ret*rded people who think in these ways and it just so happens that the protagonist is one of them, but this IS a fic which already was supposed to have established characters.
Maybe if it wasn't a fanfic on TWD I wouldn't mention the previous point but I find TWD has such great badass female characters and it's a shame how the women are in this novel.

What to say about this when theres only 6 chapters out thus far.
The story is incredibly well written, easy to read and most importantly engaging.
Our main character finds himself in the body of a random survivor hiding in a tree house not far from the quarry twd cast start out in. Following a meeting with Daryl he joins the group and tries to stay in the background while also abusing his knowledge to try and steer the story towards a happier ending, saving a certain sister doomed to die in the first horde attack.
Things are not all that they seem though as he finds himself in a mix of the comics and the tv series oh and he has some sort of system which gives him coins and xp each time he kills a zombie.
Lots of potential here.

Best twd fanfic out there. Just read it.
MC has a system but its thankfully not too op and actually requires him to work hard to earn stuff, and theres no bs like sharingan or magic in a world where the zombies are already quite weak like twd
If there's something I don't like it's that the chapters are a little short

I've read all of it and I have to say its decent for a casual read. Definitely one of the top Twd fic out there. The system seems pretty balanced. Strong but not ridiculous.
My only 2 issue is with the authors plotholes and lack of consistency with the Sword/kampilan. If you've read it then you know what I mean.
The other issue is in the early chapters he wants to stick to the plot. That gets sorted out later though
Otherwise its a good story. The writing and grammar is nothing exceptional but its not one of the worse ones I've read
