Rubies, Emeralds, Quartz, Beryls, Diamonds, Garnets, and Opals. All of these are gemstones, found all over the world. But this new era, there are now Gemstone Dungeons. In these dungeons, they make gemstones out thin air, almost. They make it out of Mana and Crystal Energy. Dungeons generate Mana daily. But only a certain amount of Crystal Energy comes one time, two times, three times, all the way to 20 times a month, otherwise known as every other day.

And with these dungeons, came interstellar travel, wormhole technology, and spaceships that could go faster than the speed of light. And the first generation of this era was called the Abalone Shell Generation. The government decided to name the first generation after gemstones, from A to Z. But the reason they practically restarted the generation numbers was because this new generation could eat the gemstones to get incredible abilities. And if they eat enough of different gemstones, depending on their genetics, they can evolve into a higher species of Human, or an entirely new one.
