Waking up in a Pokemon world is any 10-year-olds dream...Not so much for an 18-year-old. Don't get me wrong, I love the Pokemon games and even still play the new ones occasionally, but it is not my entire life like it was when I was a kid. I grew up and moved on to other things...like hot girls, but Pokemon has always had a special place in my heart.
No one wants to hear about my boring, poor college boy past, so I will summarise for you quickly. I was a normal college student, from a normal middle-class family, with normal girlfriends and friends. Not protagonist material at all!
Now onto what you will care to know. When I woke up, I was a baby in a Pokemon filled world, and with all my past memories...Sort of... But this world was only vaguely like the one from the manga or anime...it was much more...real. Like if someone took Pokemon and smashed it together with reality until it created something that made sense. The oddest part of all was my new parents... This is the story of how I was born into an unsettlingly realistic Pokemon world as the son of Jessie and James from Team Rocket. Oh, what Joy.
I will also be posting this story on RoyalRoad.com
When I saw a pokemon fanfiction I was like "this isn't going to make any sense, pokemon can't be made into an interesting novel because of how much nonsense is in it (I love pokemon but there's a lot of nonsense) " but I was so wrong as soon as I started reading Finn's notes I knew this was going to be a pokemon world that made sense, after that each chapter pulled me in further and made this world seem more real. I can't wait for the next chapter and will continue reading this novel for a long time.

If I'm honest, it's not bad... but since you chose to mention blushes and anime expressions at every opportunity, I was sincerely fed up. Okay, but honestly not even in a romance anime do they mention blush as much as you in an entire chapter. Expressions enter the same way. Although technically the story is not bad, I feel a little cringe. I mean, that insurance is for early romance, but there is nothing wrong... I think the club thing is what implements it.
Now, some things I did not like, like the club, but I know that was that you did not introduce it in one more way... I do not know... it did not feel natural.
I will try to give my honest rating and I really recommend this fanfic. It's just not really to my taste. I've seen so many wacky fanfics with exaggerated anime expressions that I'm honestly tired. (I mean, it's hard to tell a flustered person in real life, but so good.)

I have to say that this is a great story. The pacing is good, the characters are good, and the overall writing is good. On top of all that the author shows that they listen to the readers and is willing to make changes if the readers want it which is a great thing. While infrequent the r18 parts are done pretty well too. I would definitely recommend reading this story if you have the chance, which you do since it's free!
