The world as we know is over, Magic has been born through scientific research, things often thought of as legend or myth have become the reality for people living in 2080.

The cause of the sudden 'magic' outbreak? A terrorist attack that occurred on September 1st 2021. An unknown gas was released into the atmosphere and caused mutations to appear in children that were born from then on.

Countries such as China now had a military force that contained highly trained magic users that could win wars on their own. Warfare had changed and so did the governments of most countries, the power shifted from the core government itself and towards those with magic.

This gave rise to a society which bent its knee to those with excessive magical power and those with potential were sent to prestigious academies in their respective countries.

Our story picks up with an 18-year-old aristocrat, Oliver Cromwell. He was outcast from his family due to a magic-related incident that he has no memory of, he was given enough money to survive on and admitted to the Academy of Magical Excellence in Japan.
