This world's version of the afterworld.
The Sea of Souls is the domain of Pradma Hafta, the Goddess of death.
It is believed that every soul in that world ends up there after the death of the body, good or bad.

Nowadays, it is merely known as the main city in the Zahari dukedom and the city where the Vedar family resides.

where the story takes place
Ruled by the Vedars
These creatures are native of the South. Their breeding ground are the Cresci Mountains, they seldom venture outside of it nowadays. Voraces multiply, but researches still haven't found how they reproduce. Zahari people believe that those who die in the Cresci mountains become voraces as a punishment for sullying a sacred ground with their corpses.
Voraces are shape-shifting creatures that take the shape of the animals they have eaten. Their shape-shifting abilities are part of their hunting strategy. They eat an animal and take it's form to lure its natural predators. They eat these predators to continue climbing up the food chain and have access to a bigger food source. They are omnivorous and can vary in size depending on which form they take.
These creatures are very pernicious. If left unchecked they can become a real problem for the common population. There have been cases of Human-Voraces in the past but precautions are now taken to prevent that from happening.
Vorace's main source of food is the mana of the creatures they devour.
Nota Bene: Voraces after their shifting, are perfect copies of the animals they imitate. After dissecting a few of them in different forms, zoologists have found that their internal organs are indistinguishable from the animals they imitate.
One of the creatures that roam the Cresci mountains. The tend to live further inside the mountains and rarely venture near the zahari territories.
However, once every 10 years, they descends from the mountains and roam the forest near Zahar in search of the best spots to reproduce. For a few months, they pose a serious threat to the population since tend to extend their hunting grounds to the neighboring cities and villages. The newly-born wyvern that come out of their eggs a few months later are also dangerous since they indiscriminately pray on humans and livestock.
During these times, the entirety on the Zahari armies are mobilised to protect the population and reduce the wyvern's numbers. These creature are extremely hard to deal with because their skin is hard, they tend to have magic resistence and the ability to self-heal. At least 10 well-trained soldiers are needed to kill 1 wyvern. For approximately 6 months, zahari soldiers and knights try and kill as many baby wyverns as they can while avoiding their very dangerous parents. These expeditions always have a high number of casualties and during these times, Zahar is very vulnerable.
Also called "Smein"
In Ancient language, it means 'Sweet death'.
It refers to a shrub whose fruits and flowers are known for their sweet and fragrant aroma.
However, anything about that plant (from its roots to it's fruits) is highly poisonous.
It only takes about 5 minutes to act and can be consumed or just touched for its effects to work.
Nota Bene: It is called 'Sweet death' because its victims often commented on the unique flavor of the fruit or the amazing smell of the flower before they started foaming at the mouth and died.

Sister of Elias Vedar
Nicknamed "the Zahari pearl"
This is actually not bad. The only errors I see is when the author uses the wrong pronouns sometimes (This is not a gender bender story). I can't wait for more chapters.
