At the tender age of 19, the magician Noelle succeeded in mastering every element, and ascended to the coveted position of mage. The people filled the town square to sing her praises. Nobles and foreign dignitaries gossiped as to what she could possibly be like. It was the finally the day that she'd arrive at the temple so that the goddess would bestow upon her an entirely new magic.
The audience's excited murmurs died down as the doors opened.
Noelle entered the chapel with a sweet expression, and everyone knew an existence like the spring itself had appeared.

It's such a shame no one noticed the hell burning behind her smile.
