In a game-like fantasy world, called Hazama by the gods, and Earth by its residents, business is going on as usual. Items are crafted, goblins are hunted, brave adventurers level up their skills, and legendary beasts roam the wilds.

Meet Agatha, a 12-year-old aspiring magician, on a simple quest to hunt some slimes. However, the monsters prove tougher than usual, mysterious strangers arrive from the east, and snow falls in April. Her beloved teacher, a wise spellcaster by the name of Tabitha Journey, leaves to investigate the source of these unusual events…never to return.

Unable to just sit at home and do nothing, Agatha enlists the help of her friends and sets out on a perilous voyage north. Their destination: an old dungeon, where the expedition led by her mentor was last seen. But the dangers and secrets found within might prove too much for Agatha’s fragile mind…
