A traumatized boy named White reincarnates, and arrives in a world of a game he has played.
The mundane heals his mind over the years with the company of newfound family.
But peace never comes to a world destined for war. The Demon King's resurrection forces a cowardly White to embark on a journey to slay the ancient evil.
Guided by his knowledge of future events, White seeks out allies to form the Hero’s party, and defeat the forces of darkness together.
…Of course, that is only if the heroines will truly work together behind the scenes. They are after all, the very evil that the boy wants to defeat.
This was a pretty interesting start to the rewrite, one that appears to have a vastly different tone than the original prologue. There are only a few similarities, but none worth noting, so I'll move on.I both like, and dislike how this prologue was presented. On one hand, it is made very clear that this rewrite will have a much different, and a more darker tone than the original. I won't lie, I am a sucker for a story where the author doesn't shy away putting the reader in a dark atmosphere - as long as it adds to the story. On the other hand however, the inclusion of the yandere in this prologue feels a bit unnecessary. It feels as though they were only included so that the readers would know that yanderes would very much be present in the rewrite. I am hoping future chapters, either through the form of a flashback or a dream sequence, delve into exactly who this person is, and what the main character's history with this person is, rather than it being a one-time affair to kick off the story.
