It all started, on that fateful day. Terra Year 2012 ab. Reports across the world relayed details of massive fissure and cracks in the sky. It was the onset of a new era for the world. The dead started to rise, wildlife began to mutate, and otherworldly monsters sprung into existence. Over the course of a few months, over 70% of the human population was decimated. The apocalypse had come, and nothing could have prepared humanity for this. As a last bastion of hope for humanity, the leaked energies and elements entering the world started to become assimilated not only by the land, but also by humans. Magic, ki, mutations, and more started to become used and trained by humans. These people heralded as `The Awakened’ became the forefront to defending the survival of the human race.
