Location
Brimstone

One of Hell's many city states, located on the southern coast of Aporue, one of the more populated continents on the eastern side of the Boiling Sea.

With a direct line to Earth via the Paris Catacombs, Brimstone's growth has been heavily influenced by human factors, whether the townsfolk are aware of this or not.  The architecture ranges from Gothic and medieval, to Greek and Roman styles, and to the outside observer the entire town seems like a hodgepodge of mismatched buildings.

Though close to the ocean, Brimstone doesn't have much of a seafaring tradition; instead relying upon its history of academical exports, such as books, tomes and scrolls.  Many bookbinders and scribes once settled in Brimstone, and the town's academic history culminated in the founding of the Brimstone Institute of Demonics, an academy dedicated to the study of demonic magicks and its various applications.

Over the years, however, Brimstone began to change, and not for the better.  The town is held in the iron grip of the Sulfur Blood crime family, and some twenty years ago, a mysterious attack upon the populace caused major changes.  Entire passages of history were erased, and the once-prestigious B.I.D. was forced to cease functioning as a private school and downsize in order to open its doors to public.

Why this is, however, nobody can truly say.

Miscellaneous
Gluttons
Gluttons are the eponymous demons of Gluttony, owing to their rotund figures and voracious appetites.  They possess green skin and short, rounded horns, as well as stumpy tails that rarely reach over a metre in length.  Though outwardly appearing to be rather fat, Gluttons have impressive stamina, and can last for much longer without food or water than other demons.  Their teeth are hard enough to crush stone, and their stomachs are capable of digesting many inedible substances, including wood, bone and glass.

Historically, Glutton tribes lived either on the Hellish coastlines in thatch huts, or on the ocean itself in pontoon towns.  They mainly subsisted on a diet of fish, seaweed and wild grains, but were open to trying anything new.  Glutton communities were close-knit, and as a result, many future generations would find themselves comfortable opening up to strangers, granting them the image of a gentle and friendly people.  Their willingness to explore has lead them to develop many advancements in the field of gastronomy, and as a result, many historically famous Hellish chefs were Gluttons.

Armed with maces comprised of tough crystalized sugar, Gluttons boast a mastery over the element of water.  Additionally, they are capable of magically adjust the size of their own bodies; a kind of magic referred to as magnimorphisis

Fallen

Fallen are the demons of Envy, and as a result are infamous for their piercing green eyes.  Their skin tones range from dark grey to pitch black, and they are noted as being one of the tallest races of demon alongside the Oni.  Upon their back they have grey wings with feathers composed of cartilage, and they have but one grey horn that sprouts from the forehead and loops around the entire head like a halo.  Interestingly, their natural body temperature is lower than that of other demons, and their bones are hollow in places, aiding flight and reducing their overall body weight.

A traditionally isolationist race, Fallen tribes were generally nomadic; never staying in one place and always following the migratory paths of their prey, be they eastern brimicervs or western buffalo.  Even within family units, individual Fallen would be highly suspicious of one another, constantly coveting that which their companions possess and jealously guarding that which they themselves own.  As a result of this antisocial behaviour, many Fallen are stereotyped as being creepy and standoffish, though as with most generalisations, such things aren't always true.  Indeed, while mistrust runs in a Fallens' blood, they are also famed throughout history as being unwaveringly loyal to those they are close to, and their natural adaptability makes them excellent allies both in ancient times and modern life.

Wielding bows of flexible volcanic glass, the Fallen are able to manipulate the wind, as well as the natural processes of their own body.  They can render themselves invisible, breathe underwater or see in the dark - among other things - thanks to their innate mastery over a process known as ambitioditanic modification.

Golems

Ever slow and ever steady are the Golems, patron demons of Sloth.  Though they tend to have terrible eyesight, they more than make up for their lack of perception with impressively thick skin; looking almost as though they're made from stone due to the brown pigmentation and occasional discoloured patches, ranging in appearance from granite to limestone.  They have short horns that match the colour of their skin, and in place of feet, Golems have cloven hooves.

Golems historically settled in rocky regions such as mountains or canyons, rarely ever moving around or migrating from their home settlements where they raise cattle and practice masonry.  Uniquely amongst other demons, Golems were the first race of demon to have any kind of organised religion, namely the Sunmos Sects; an order of monks that strive to attain enlightenment through meditation and deep sleep.  Another unique quirk of the Golems is their effect on other demons.  While the natural pheromone' of all demons work only on humans, the natural chemicals in a Golem's sweat has a relaxant effect, which seems to tie into the race's easygoing nature as a whole.  Given their role as a demon of Sloth, it doesn't take much to put a Golem to sleep, and it takes a whole lot to wake one up.

Armed with shields of toughened granite, Golems are masters of the element of earth.  In addition, they are capable of reaching a certain state of mental attunement when they sleep, granting them the ability to manipulate physical objects with their minds.

Imps
Imps are the demons of Greed, and are the smallest race of demon.  Scarcely ever rising above the five foot mark, they make up for their diminutive height with their impressive horns, which sprout from above the ear, curve around the head and point straight upwards, generally totaling over a foot and a half in length, sometimes even more.  Their skin is red in colour, and their eyes possess catlike qualities, such as slitted pupils and reflective tapetum lucidum.  Unlike most demons and even humans, there is very little sexual dimorphism in Imps, giving them all a generally androgynous appearance.

Though records indicate that Imps originated from treetop villages in Hell's many forests and jungles, their innate adventurousness led them to spread all over Hell.  As Imp societies ran on a "if you can steal it, its yours" line of thinking, they quickly earned themselves a reputation for being little more than opportunistic thieves and petty vandals.  However, their nimble fingers and sharp eyesight also led to them becoming excellent craftsmen.  Many of the technological advancements made in Hell were actually derived from human inventions that had been stolen by Imps and subsequently reverse-engineered.

Though they once carried crossbows, it is said that as a reward for bestowing the knowledge of human firearms upon Hell, Imps were granted access to revolvers made of lead.  They can also control plants and communicate with animals, as well as transform into them in an act known as bestimorphisis.

Nymphs

As the demons of Hubris, Nymphs take pride in their appearance.  Boasting slender bodies, golden hair and flawless yellow skin, they would appear almost ethereal if not for the short horns sprouting from their foreheads.  With long pointed ears, they have an acute sense of hearing, but for some reason that they themselves do not yet know, Nymphs are incapable of digesting meat.  Additionally, their entire body acts as a conductor, and they are capable of generating electricity within their bodies.

Originating from the highlands of Hell's eastern continent, Nymphs prided themselves on being the original producers of luxury goods, from gold and precious stones to fur garments and finely-worked wood.  Though their high-and-mighty attitudes hampered business relationships with the other races, their natural talent for performance and music more or less made up for this.  Many Nymphs find themselves in the entertainment, fashion or cosmetic industries, though some are trying to break away from this norm in an effort to prove that their people are worth more than their looks.

Armed with spears of conductive gold, Nymphs are highly attuned with electricity.  In addition, they are able to create and control all manner of illusions.

Oni

Easily the largest race of demons, Oni are the orange-skinned patrons of Wrath.  A tall and muscular people, they tower a head above most other demons, their visages made all the more impressive by the rocky red horns jutting from their foreheads.  A unique trait possessed by the Oni is the unnatural sensitivity of these horns, owing to the tightly-packed nerve clusters within.  Supposedly having one's horn touched is an incredibly painful experience, however if grasped by someone whom the Oni is very close to, it's said that an altogether different sensation is felt.

Historically, Oni made their homes in the most inhospitable of climes, from the hottest volcanoes to the coldest glacial plains.  Forming clans comprised of multiple family groups, they would remain isolated from other settlements as they temper their minds and train their bodies, constantly honing themselves for the next fight.  To most, Oni are gruff, stubborn and quick to anger, and for the most part that's true.  But those that can get past their flinty exteriors find that they tend to make incredibly strong and unwaveringly stalwart allies.

Capable of swinging massive bronze axes, Oni can supplement their massive strength with magical flame.  In addition, they can manipulate and control the forces of kinetic and potential energy, further enhancing their physical capabilities.

Succubi

The all-female demons of Lust, possessed of iridescent purple skin and enchanting beauty.  In addition to lengthy yellow horns, they have small batlike wings and long tails tipped with heart shaped spades, though they are incapable of flight.  Many make the mistake of viewing Succubi as little more than shapely sex fiends, when in fact they are deceptively cunning and remarkably charismatic.  They are also the most maternal of any demon, as when presented with a child, a Succubus will protect it like it's their own.

Succubi were usually quite interspersed throughout Hellish history, with only one major settlement ever being founded; Phrodival, a large town built around a lake in the centre of a meteoric impact crater.  Their shared history is a rather murky and secretive subject, though what is known is that many Phrodival Succbi consider themselves followers of a woman known as Lady Fesser, who was the revolutionary founder of the town and an innovator in practices both magical and psychological.

Able to effortlessly wield leather whips, Succubi have a unique mastery over shadows.  They are also masters of psychomancy; the art of charms, suggestion and mind control.

Incubi

It's difficult to ascertain the commonalities between Incubi, considering their rarity.  Like their Succubi counterparts, they are demons of Lust, but are male and have blue skin.  They posses the same horns, wings and tail, though the spade is inverted, appearing as a spike instead of a heart.  Their are some minor differences in their biology - sharper teeth, tougher fingernails - but the reason for this is currently unknown.

Incubi births are few and far between, often inciting confusion from the mothers who were most certainly expecting daughters.  Though demons of Lust themselves, they are noted as having much more tempered appetites once they reach sexual maturity, though are generally just as charming and charismatic as their purple-skinned sisters.  Like Succubi - and all other demons, besides - Incubi grow in stages.  However, right as they are about to turn twenty-one years of age and progress to the third and final stage of growth, they disappear.  Without a trace.  There are no recorded instances of full adult Incubi.

With one notable exception.

    Status: chapter 22 – redtile’s new flame:...

it's not bad or good, it's an average story, mainly because of the MC's attitude, each character is remarkable, especially their personalities, but the MC is simply forgettable

sorry mistake English is not my native language

this review will contain a bit of spoiler, and is long

each character is interesting, and has a well-defined personality and they demonstrate this, the relationship between the characters is also interesting, and develops in pleasantly way, especially when they go through difficulties together, it is one of the best points of this story

worldbuilding is not good, there is hell but we don't know if there is heaven, angels, God, or Lucifer, a middle ground, nothing, we also know there was war, but against whom the hell fought, if it was a war between the races of hell itself as an internal conflict or if it was against something external, we don't know, basically there is earth and hell and nothing else until the chapter I read

The characters' background is interesting, it wasn't explored much but it was more than the MC, they have their families and their problems, in general, the "heroines" are better worked and realistic than the MC

the tags are a little off and the synopsis is misleading, the MC is not a student, he is a teacher who is only 3 years older than his students, you find this out in the first few chapters, the romance tag could have been removed, there is no romantic development when the MC doesn't even consider the advances he suffers from two other characters before ignoring them, I suppose this could change when the MC is forced to make a decision, the harem tag should be here even if it doesn't have romance because there are a lot of female characters around the MC

    talking about the MC

background, we know little about the MC, a character from his past is implemented in the story but we know little about what happens between them, this character is the yandere, and she quotes a promise that we don't know until chapter I read (actually chapter 22), she was introduced in the first chapters, we know that the MC has a family with 5 succubus sisters and a mother who can be an ordinary actress or an adult movie actress, we don't know, it's not explained, Karazelle (his succubus student and principal heroine I guess) mentions his mother does movies and she is a fan, that's all.

the MC despite being a 22-year-old incubus with this complicated family full of lust demons and "being less behaved" in his student days is still a virgin, don't get it wrong, I don't care if the character is a virgin or not, but this is a bit bizarre given his circumstances, from a family full of succubi, with a mother succubus possibly p**n actress, to not being well behaved as a student, being an incubus which is very rare (and apparently hunted by female demons), being surrounded by succubus in his student days (bullied by them which miraculously didn't evolve into a reverse rape) and having a yandere stalker after him should be more than enough to lose the V-card, all of them to be honest.

the MC is the perfect archetype of the Japanese beta MC, this has positives and negatives points, on the positives he is a good person with a good heart, and he has the determination to do things even if they are dangerous for those he considers important, and not keeps chasing skirts like a horny dog

in the negative, even if he does dangerous things, he always seems to be doing it scared to death, that he is all the time forced against the corner, that he takes a risk and goes to the aid of his students/friends not because he cares, but because he has no choice from the reader's point of view, he has no self-confidence (or he has? He encourages himself all the time), he has no backbone, he is a leaf being carried by the river, always on jelly-like legs, stuttering, nobody respects him even if he is the teacher, his word is practically ignored, it's at the level where the yandere who should idolize his words doesn't even care what he says and comes to her own conclusions before he ends his words, it doesn't help that whenever he opens his mouth to her it's for making excuses, and he can't even finish before his sentence is cut off by her or anyone else and they do as they please.

and even though he doesn't chase skirts, his lack of reaction to female advances makes us question if he's a eunuch, or if he's interested in the opposite s*x or not, the succubus (Karazelle, the first, maybe principal heroine) and the yandere (Elya, the fallen) practically throw themselves at the MC all the time, especially the succubus that invades the MC's room in the morning and at night whenever she can and the MC just ignores it, don't have s*x, doesn't enter into a relationship or rejects it, don't expulse her from the room, nothing, doesn't control the yandere who almost kills the other characters several times, doesn't assume or reject a relationship with anyone

in conclusion, the characters are amazing, interesting with their own stories, growing and evolving, slowly improving into better versions of themselves, but the MC is an unwilling character, Izzbelle, the furious oni, would be a better protagonist than the MC, she has more personality and background than the MC, it's like @Nemesia said, it's practically Rosario vampire, but with demons where the MC just go with the flow, but in Rosario vampire, at least in the manga, the MC gets strong and badass when he transforms, I would like the MC here to be the same, not badass or strong, but that he imposes himself, his will and stop letting others run over him, stop stuttering, don't accept what others say even if he's going to be beaten, it was admirable him being like that with Whitney, even when he goes against izzbelle, but, sadly, he doesn't take decision with karazelle the succubus, and  just accepting everything from Alison the mad scientist and Elya the yandere

the characters make it worth reading, they are interesting, while the MC not so much, he needs development and learns to impose himself

Status: chapter 26 – the ptm from hell

I don't know what to expect when I picked it up to read (shocking, I know), but this story exceeds my expectations. Its setting and premise reminds me of Mahou Sensei Negima and Rosario + Vampire. The pacing is a little slow and takes a while to get used to the episodic writing, but the story and characters are just too good to pass up. This kind of writing style is interesting in a way, and while not amazing, is a pretty decent read. I loved this one, and you will too.

Lemme start this off by saying that I've been following this story since it's wattpad days, and it's come pretty far since then so props for that.

Infernal Academia is a story about a new demon teacher and his students, who engage in a helluva lotta funny, racy and sometimes violent shenanigans.  Our protag Cobalt is kinda a wet sandwich, but he sticks to his morals, and does wind up getting stronger.  Its a slow paced kinda deal

The story has actually come a long way.  When I first read it, it was more or less a series of disconnected fluff chspters, but now there's a proper underlying plot and the characters have all been deepened.

Uhhhh good story for characters, especially ones with some depth to em.  Its got some haremy vibes initially, but each character has actual motivations and personalities outside of kinda liking Cobalt, so that's good too.

There's the odd spelling mistake, but that's not really a huge turnoff.

But yah if you're lookin for a story with some heart to it, I'd definitely suggest Infernal Academia.
