The year is 1936, the Empire stands tall over its defeated foes such as the Francois Republic and the Russy Federation. Its political and economic sphere expands far beyond its own borders and into the east, and its former rival in the north, Legadonia, stands divided among its ethnic populations. Never has the Empire had a brighter future... or does it?

Along the horizon dark clouds loom over a future uncertain. Former allies turn their back on the Empire and enrich themselves with the spoils of war after facing little of the costs. Their former enemies, while unstable and disunited now, all have a unified hared for the Empire, and it seems the world is delving right back to where it was a decade ago.

A Second World War lingers over the horizon, and the young mage turned war hero, Tanya von Degurechaff, seemingly free of the harassment from the self-proclaimed God, Being X, now stands at the center of it all as the youngest member of General Staff, and one of the most brilliant minds the Empire has ever seen. As tensions both at home and abroad rise, Tanya Degurechaff must find where she stands while also steering the Empire towards another victory.
