Joseph Knox, one of the most prolific and well-known serial killers on the planet.
A person considered so demented and manic that even trying to reason with him was believed to be a waste of time. A man so far gone that he seemingly didn't deserve any pity even on his deathbed.
So why? Why would a man like him receive a second chance? And why did the world around him seem so familiar?
Disclaimer: AU when it comes to some parts of Madara's plan(I'll try to make it make sense at least), and aliens don't exist in this world
I like the story. I really do. It's a pretty basic story with an interesting MC. The MC being blind adds a lot of personality to the story that would otherwise would make this fanfic like any other.
I'm not a huge fan of the story's pacing tho. Everything feels a bit too rushed, clearly the author just wants to get all this build up out of the way before starting the actual story.
MC family dies a bit too fast (you really don't care about them the way they die makes their death predictable and anticlimactic) MC begins to get strong a bit too quickly without enough story to justify it, he starts to trusts his subordinates a little too fast.
*
Positives is the MC is realistic about his expectations, which is definitely appreciated. Author isn't eager to make his life too easy. Grammar is good. Although that's not something I personally care about. I'm definitely looking forward to eventually getting to the part of the story the author actually cares about.

Okay this is pretty good much better than most naruto fan fics I also like how it explores the other regions outside of konoha. The main character is pretty op and seems to suddenly jump in strength from time to time but it's still somewhat reasonable.
Overall this is a very solid 4/5 with a fresh and original take as a naruto fanfic definitely worth the read.

Very slow start, lots of focus time spent alone and talking theory. Gets many times better once the MC gets his feet under him and starts recruiting and interacting with others.
Fights are well written and interesting, with the author extrapolating abilities in interesting and complex ways beyond what was shown in source material.
The focus on politics and power dynamics is explored in depth, giving plausible explanations as to how the geopolitical situation behind Naruto was formed, and further leading into how it further develops and responds to actions taken by the MC and others.
There doesn't appear to be any kind of fate trying to course-correct events to match canon, so expect divergence from canon as time goes on. Very much enjoying this perspective on the world told in this story.

So far it is pretty good. MC is not a saint. Not the most OP in this universe but he makes use of his full capabilities when he can. Author has kept things simple, so MC is getting OP but it is still easy to understand his skills. MC is also ruthless as needed to meet his objectives which is appreciated. Naruto universe serves as the base for this writing but the author is not reluctant to change things from canon which is good and makes reading this fun.
I specially loved how MC can also use his smarts to win rather than just brute force

Writing - It's smooth and little fast-paced but we can still enjoy the novel.
------- I highly recommend reading other series written by the Author in Webnovel. ---------

Honestly, I'm not a big fan with the additional character or dynamic created through this addition. It makes very little logical sense based off the story so far. My other main gripe is that the pacing is bizare.
Really solid fight scenes though.
