Oh, boy. This story is really dark. Yet, it doesn't have any horror clichés. The horror serves a purpose, and the MC has evolved into something which is no longer human. As such, it doesn't have the morals of a human, which is logical.
This story is a fresh take on the dungeon core trope, which mostly have good dungeon cores, who don't want to kill. You won't find any goody-two-shoes here. The world is not a happy place, and the MC feeds from the hate.

Love it! Excellent dark fantasy story that weaves darkness and madness together with the thinnest strain of light beautifully. Though, there is less dungeon and core than I hoped, I cant wait to see how it ends.

Okay. If you like stories where you follow the bad guy's rise to power and revel in their evil plans coming to fruition, then you will love this story.
At the time of this review, there are only three chapters posted from the first volume. I assure you that not only is buying the other 47 on Amazon worth it, they seem to be a more finished product.
The pain of finishing Volume One after I purchased it was only dulled by the fact that there's another book's worth of chapters on SH.
I can't wait until I can buy Volume Two as well.
