Synopsis

In the age of full-dive virtual reality and VRMMORPGs, the online dating experience has completely transformed. Although marriage in the digital world isn't recognized by the government or "legal" in the conventional sense, there are still thousands of people who find profound fulfillment in their virtual relationships.

28-year-old Tachibana Yori is non-binary. By day, he's a five dan professional go player who's sponsored by the Nihon Ki-in (日本棋院) to teach go/weiqi/baduk in the United States. However, by night she (female) is married to her online husband Joshua, who has been her best friend for over a decade.

Juggling a relationship across the borders of IRL, family, and gender isn't easy, but Yori is completely serious about their online marriage. Even if others don't recognize this digital union and difficult obstacles block their path, Yori won't let anything stop her from creating the family that they call home.
