One of my goals is for there to not be any potentially interesting conversations that are skipped past, many times I've been reading some story and hated it when some really interesting conversation is just summed up without going into enough detail.

Genres I should clarify a bit:
Romance, one of the main things even if this isn't a typical romance novel.
Mystery, no murder mysteries though mysteries are an essential part of the story.
Gender Bender, no actual sex change, feminization might be more appropriate if it was an option.
Harem mainly means that characters other than the main love interest can have feelings and do things.
Ecchi/Adult, most of the story has sexual elements but actual sex should be rare.
Comedy, I find myself wanting to make things funny when I can but I didn't set out to make this a comedy <<less

Well with a title like that I couldn’t help but be interested by the idea of leaving my usual writing niche and trying something a bit more novel.

Tying it loosely back to my main series ‘UnderCurrent’, ‘GUK’ was born as a standalone romance novella which you are now holding, styled with Japanese tropes in mind from a more western perspective.
