On a fateful day, a boy and a girl cross-path in the depth of the forest. Lost and in need of shelter, the boy let her live with him in a wooden house built beside an ancient tree.

Years of harmony passed by and their bonds grew stronger than ever, regarding the other as their own family, perhaps, even closer than that. But everything, no matter good or bad, must come to an end.

On one evening, the teenage boy shared a startling discovery.
“Your brother… I found him”

Overwhelmed by a surge of emotions, her eyes quivered as the memories she had long suppressed and locked away began to haunt her once again.

The desire to send justice to the murderer of her father and mother. The one that cruelly killed them with the knife in his hand on the cold windy night. The one that chased her away tirelessly to the faraway land.

Her loving brother...

And on that evening, the two had a long and heavy discussion. The boy urged her to seek and exact her revenge.
“Then, how about you?”
“Sorry… but I can’t go with you,” he replied with a bittersweet smile.

In the end, the girl yielded and made up her mind to confront her brother. However, unbeknownst to her, something happened when the dawn finally arrived.

The boy… he was found missing.
It was as if he had vanished into thin air, leaving behind only a single clue to his whereabouts. The hint pointed directly at her brother.

And so, she goes. As she cast one last glance at the ancient tree behind her, a flood of memories from her time with the boy overwhelmed her.
And yet, it only reaffirmed her conviction once again and powered herself to face the unknown future in front of her, leaving everything that she cherished before behind.
